The location is near amenities. The room was dated but fine, bed comfortable. There was wear and tear on the tub (surface peeling), and toilet ran continuously. Upon check out, I was told that because I booked through a third party (Expedia), that the third party would have to provide a final receipt - I wanted to ensure that the $100 charge for incidentals was refunded, but was told they couldn't provide a final invoice.

Disappointing. Only 1 “dirty” microwave in the entire hotel! Shower curtain was old & dirty, the bathtub was cracked. There was mud in the hallway for 2 days when I finally said something to the receptionist. The coffee was “lukewarm.” Very poor to carry the “Hilton” name. Did I mention that the signature cookie was “burnt.” I stayed 4 nights, never again!

Check In was great! Front Desk Agent was friendly and sent a text to make sure I didn’t need anything. Hotel was modern and clean and room was spacious although the tub needed minor repainting. Unfortunately, I had an emergency the next morning and called down to request 30 minutes additional to check out. As a hilton honors member who has traveled all over the US and Internationally, it was disappointing that I could not even have a 15 minute grace period without being charged $50. I explained it was an unexpected delay and was still denied. Checkout was at 11:00am on a Sunday. I requested until 11:30am and was told no. It is unlikely that I will stay at a Hilton again because of this inability to provide customer service. The hotel was not sold out and there were rooms available for that evening so it is not as if they could not have accommodated. Many years ago I worked at a five diamond rated Hilton property where guest service was paramount. This went against this very concept.

First time at the W-S Doubletree. I liked it. My check-in was very friendly, the check-out not so much; the woman was not friendly. The staff at the complimentary coffee area was very helpful and friendly. Suggestion to have pool umbrellas or sun shades wind between the pergola roof of the 2 sitting areas. Overall great stay

Great stay and location close to wake forest. Our room was immaculate and Chrissy at the front desk was SO attentive and personable, we loved her! The beds were soft and comfortable and the reason I keep staying at doubletrees. A few reviews mentioned the parking lot, I have no idea why- the parking lot is safe, plenty of spaces, well lit and at no point did we ever feel remotely unsafe or bothered. The only negative we found was that the breakfast left much to be desired, I would save the $16 and instead go to Mama Zoe’s for great southern breakfast food.

The front desk was very apologetic but I checked out because i was paranoid and checked into the Hampton inn. The general manager, Adele Martin was rude and told me I must have brought it to the hotel and hung up on me when I called on Monday like the front desk staff told me. I definitely expect more from a Hilton I’m a honors member and stay at them frequently. I

Grandparents stay for grandson at Wake

We were visiting our grandson at Wake. Thé location was great and the room was quiet and the bed was great.
All in all à gréât spot, I told our daughter it would be perfect for parents weekend and you are totally booked!!!

Filthy bathroom caused everything to questionable

The bathroom was disgusting. Urine on outside of toilet. Outside of tub and inside was dirty. Back of door had something white on it. Counter back had stuff on it. Floor was dirty. I put towels down everywhere I would walk. Not a good experience.

Decent hotel, room was showing some age through. The door handle for the bathroom was loose and barely held the door closed. The room also had an older, compact toilet. Staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent with a good selection. Bar made good drinks.

I HATE the spooky creepy haunted house chairs. Who is the designer for this hotel? Who would ever sit in that, nonetheless order a bunch of them. They aren't even comfortable.
