The first thing I want to say is for the money, the room was fine. It was really cheap and it is right on the main street of Pigeon Forge. Everything is really close and so if you approach a vacation like me, wanting a room to sleep in, but to otherwise be out and about during the day, it's fine.
If you want more than that though, it could be a problem. The room was not well maintained. The room was a bit smelly and there were some spots where the drywall had half-holes in it. There was no ironing board or iron (my clothes get wrinkly in my bag). There is no free breakfast at all. The pool is small, but ok if you just want to lounge about. My kids enjoyed it just the same. The beds are fine and the room is a decent size.
One thing that may bother you is that Ripley's Super Fun Park is next door and doesn't close until 1100pm. You can hear the go-karts and the announcer shouting instructions to the kart riders. My family and I were active during the day and slept just fine, even with that noise.
The property seemed run down, but I didn't see any shady characters hanging about and I never felt unsafe.
