The room itself was clean as was the property. However, it’s currently in a bit of disrepair with several projects roped/blocked off including the lobby hall and elevator. As such, there was only 1 functional elevator which for 8 floors was a bit inconvenient.

This hotel was not at all like it was described on the website. The Parking lot was full of broken down busted up vehicles missing headlights busted in glass looked like a junkyard the front and main door to the hotel was propped open and broken caution cones everywhere. The receptionist was behind bullet proof glass. The hallway lights were twinkling as if they were going out construction things everywhere the hotel smelled of weed when I told the manager the hotel smelt like weed he advised that that’s why he put me on the eighth floor. In other words he knew there was weed on the property. This hotel was completely unsafe and I felt very uncomfortable and refused to stay. I did not stay in this hotel.

The place is questionable for passing minimum codes. Very low room occupancy.. slightly hat the hook to entice. Customers.. and once committed with the lowest rate in Winston. And because of no occupancy other revenue streams are aggressively exploited with a fairly obvious motive the cause.. rules vary from room conditions to smoking and more.. a friend opened the window and one cigarette out the window cost $50 a fine.. actually if any smell was detected it would have enhanced the rooms conditions when entered.. the filth and suspicious peoples accessing 100% of buildings facilities with no questions..caused serious concerns of with several tenants on our floor. To respectfully impose a heavy forfeiture of room deposits, some damage should occur, such as touching the entire property.. short of that anything else should be considered an improvement.. and tenant compensated like the 6-8 contractors with building supplies littered
throughout the inside of this property..

This hotel should be shut down permanently. Disgustingly dirty, stinky, and overall filthy. Poorest conditioned hotel I have even seen. I immediately cancelled reservations after seeing the living conditions of dirty sheets, stinking stale air of years of smoking, appeared roach infested. Just horrible.

Worst hotel I have ever visited

Parking lot: dirty, crumbling asphalt and concrete, deteriorating surfaces, foul odor of stale cigarettes.

Lobby: You must communicate with the staff through a narrow slot. No mention of services or amenities (because there were none). Advertised breakfast was a hoax, there was not one.

Elevator: One of the two out of service, apparently been that way for some time. Sn orange traffic cone in the corner. Ride slow and noisy, you might not get to your floor.

Hallway: dimly lit and that cigarette smell is almost overwhelming. You need a bit of shoulder to get the door open.

Room: actually reasonably clean, no visible dirt or insects. Sheets were clean, bed and pillows were comfortable. Furniture was old and very minimal. No desk. One small chair. Half the electrical outlets were inoperable or jammed with something. No coffee maker, no cups or glasses, no tissues. The toilet paper holder broken and a roll of toilet paper sitting on the sink. Only one bath towel, hand towel and wash cloth. No hangers in the closet. No hair dryer. No internet. As said, minimal amenities.

Coffee: Was told the desk staff could provide this. When I asked in the morning, I received a 4 ounce paper cup with coffee from somewhere in the back. I did not ask how it was prepared, but I drank it and survived.

The final gift was upon leaving you and everything you took into the room reeked of the cigarette smell. Now home we are dealing with this as best we can.

We probably will not stay there again.

Absolutely DO NOT stay here! The doors are open on arrival and only way to secure and lock door is the deadbolt once you enter the room through the already unlocked open door. There were no secondary locking latches. Looked like they were broken off. Keycard is just for show. I have never experienced this before. Large stink bugs in room. Shower had mold. It was a nonsmoking room but smelled terrible from smoking. I checked in after 4 pm and realized this wasn’t going to be a safe place. I spent about an hour in the room and decided to just leave and not return.

Front staff was overall nice, very helpful and very respectful. but the overall stay and condition of the place was awful. A/C didn’t work, curtains weren’t fully attached, a hole (maybe bullet) in the only 1 working elevator door. It was a one night stay but just wow. Wouldn’t recommend this to anyone

Stayed with my family across two rooms. Our room had bare dirty foot prints on the wall and the floor was covered in dirt. The other room had small bugs that, while we couldn't know for sure, looked a lot like bed bugs. The building smelled horrible. They also had a surprise deposit for the room which we were not informed of before arriving.

The dining room was unavailable due to Renovations so they had a little bag of breakfast items rather than the full breakfast offering. The floors in the hallway were stained and the entire Place smelled of smoke other than our room. The elevator was not functioning and the stairwell was very narrow and dark. The refrigerator in our room was broken and the door was in pieces, there was a broken section of the sink and the bottom of the bathroom door was shredded.

Desde la llegada, el lugar es bastante sucio, mi otorgaron una habitacion donde los baños estaban malos, solicite cambio y me enviaron a otra donde el AC estaba malo, espere por 2 horas hasta que lo repararon, la habitacion deteriorada, habian cucarachas que caminaban por la habitacion, tengo fotos, el lugar muy inseguro por los demas huespedes, el dia de mi salida llego la policia por una discusión con una persona, el hotel no tiene restaurante por lo que el desayuno me lo entregaron en una bolsa todos los dias y este era jugo y galletas.
En general muy mal hotel no les recomiendo tenerlo como opcion para otros usuarios de Expedia

DO NOT GO HERE!! i went last night and i didn’t even stay 30 minutes. I was fearful for my safety, hotel guests were concealing machetes and the whole place smelt like cigarettes and weed. the people across the hall from us tried to break in to the room - we also showed up past midnight and it felt like a lot of the people i interacted with (i assume hotel guests) was going to hurt us or take our things. The area itself was not pleasant at all and seemed very unsafe. People were eying us up and down and making note of our vehicle - my partner said that some of them were carrying guns as well. For your sake and safety, spend the extra hundred dollars if you can and make sure you are somewhere safe - i learned that saving a couple bucks is NOT worth my safety and security.

It is a budget hotel but I do not recommend it, a terrible experience. I left my suitcase with my belongings in the room and when I returned it was not there, my belongings were taken from my room, without explanation, they returned them to me because I claimed them, but it was a very unpleasant moment because they checked my clothes, they returned the suitcase with part of the clothes and when I checked they returned the other part to me / terrible

Room had a broken toilet seat, replaced countertop that had the brand name wrapper still on it, Broken nightstands, wall plugs were broken, only decent part was the bathtub having warm water. No breakfast as advertised, got a To Go Bag, bathroom had some questionable stains on wood base to sink. Then being an adjoining room apparently the sound of the other room playing loud TV all night kept waking my very tired self up after a long day. Won’t return.

Couldn’t check in early at all. My event started at 1:45 pm and didn’t end until after 10 pm. When I got to the hotel, there was a security guard that greeted us. After about 10 minutes the front desk worker came up and got us checked in. When we entered the room, I noticed the fire alarm is damaged and the sheets on one bed were filthy. The hotel smelled like marijuana and cigarette smoke the entire time and neither of us even smoke at all. Just terrible!

It was discussing - the Hotel smelled heavily of humidity . There was no Television . We called the front desk and they stated it was because they had not paid the cable bill. We then called the front desk back to ask about breakfast since I had purposely selected this hotel since they had completely breakfast included . When we call the front desk said that they were not offering breakfast . So no TV and no breakfast which I was normally expecting and paid for based on the said offer. The front desk man said the reason my booking price was so low was because of no TV or breakfast . Well I get to decided that not them and it’s not what I opted for. Plus I have had other stays with same pricing that do offer what’s promised . Really bad expirence…..don’t go there

The hotel is awful. I had to leave as soon as I entered the room. The photos were completely misleading compared to the actual hotel. It felt unsafe due to the people there—men lying in the hallways who appeared to be on drugs, and others outside the hotel who made inappropriate comments as I walked by. I felt scared and left just 10 minutes after arriving. There was a strong smell of cigarettes and marijuana throughout the hotel and in the rooms. Everything was dirty, broken, and poorly maintained. This hotel should be removed as an option on Expedia. I had to find another hotel at 9:30 PM. I request a refund since I didn’t stay there, as the reality of the place does not match the description provided.

Lesson learned to read reviews first

Had I read the reviews on this hotel first, we wouldn’t have stayed here. However, since we were only needing something cheap to stay at overnight, I didn’t pay much attention when booking.

Unfortunately, what was once probably a very nice hotel, has sadly become very run down. Our room was on the 7th floor, so I can only speak from experience there. The hallway carpet was definitely stained from wear and age. Our room had laminate flooring, which was surprisingly not the dirtiest hotel floor I’ve experienced.

The room was very basic with amenities. There was a mini fridge without freezer, a tv, and a coffee pot. The beds had clean linens but only two small pillows each. We booked a double queen room for 4 people, but the bathroom had only 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 wash cloth. The room actually had a shower curtain (some people didn’t have this), but it was very badly stained with mildew and mold. Otherwise, the water was hot, the toilet flushed, the heat worked, and I did not see any bugs outside of a random fly.

One thing I will say, is this property advertises having free breakfast included, but they Do Not have this.

Also, safety wise, yes there were various people loitering outside of the hotel when we checked in at 6:30 PM, but there was no fighting, no apparent “drug use”, and I did not feel unsafe for myself or my 2 children.

Would I come back? No. Would I recommend it to friends? Probably not. But, for what it was, it worked.

I felt incredibly unsafe and had to call my boyfriend in the morning to have him come pick me up earlier than our original plan because I didn't feel safe enough to walk down to the lobby by myself

We got to the room and nothing was cleaned and the shower and toilet was dirty , the sheets had multiple stains and the chair had questionable substance on it, and we asked the staff for replacements and never received them and one of the security guards tried to get into our room while as we came back, overall a bad experience.

The pictures are from 20 years ago and none of the rooms look like this.

It is a rundown slum with questionable people in the lobby and outside.

You will not feel safe at all.

I was very fortunate that they did not have my room available when I arrived. My husband said the restroom was filthy and I felt very unsafe just walking into the motel. I'm actually surprised my vehicle was still there or not broken into while I was inside. As I got back into my vehicle I looked up and there were people actually sitting in the windows. This looks like a place that homeless people are given vouchers to stay at and I pray for their safety. Very unsafe location!
