There was no water pressure. The water pressure was so low when you added the hot water to the cold in an attempt for a warm shower, the shower wouldn't even come on. Therefore if you wanted water to come out of the shower at all, it had to be cold. The walls are paper thin, we could hear the room next door very easily. There were broken handles on the dresser and the room was in general disrepair. The AC was very noisy. I wouldn't stay here again until they fix things up. It's in a great location, so it's really too bad.

I'm usually very happy at a Baymont by Wyndham hotel This was not the case at this Fort Wayne Indiana location. A pawn checking into the room I realize that the floor in the bathroom was wet and realized it was coming from the bottom of the toilet I called the front desk to notify them of the situation and they said oh we'll have somebody look at it tomorrow... So basically I had to use my bath towels to keep the floor cleaned up in the bathroom and didn't have a towel when it came time to take a shower... Don't think I'll visit this one again....

Rooms could have been cleaner , the tub has black rings from old rubber mats and looks dirty. This could be cleaned up . The AC unit had the dirtiest filters I have ever seen being in the field for 27 years. I cleaned them before I turned it on . Highly recommend. And I cleaned the floor with bleach wipes .

Would have been nice to receive something to compensate for the pool being closed. That was literally the reason I booked your hotel, becaue it was one of the only ones with a pool. To get there, tell the guy that and that it was disapointing and him to just hand me a key and say I am checked in, was very disappointing. The whole place smelled of weed, which was not good on my asthma.

We ended up going to another hotel because my daughter had an important meeting the next day and was clearly not going to be able to rest in this lication.

I like the Wyndham properties over the cheaper budget hotels because they are more comfortable and I don't like motels with room doors that go directly outside. The staff was very welcoming and the Fort Wayne area is, at least, not 'Ghettoville USA' thankfully. Room was quiet, clean, and comfortable, and I liked the free coffee and breakfast in the morning. It's a basic breakfast, but with restaurant prices these days, it saves you some money.

Been here a few times going to the area to visit my daughter who still lives there after I moved for work. It serves the purpose for a decent deal and close to the freeway. Breakfast is good (not great but hot and edible) sauna has always been out of service, gym equipment not exactly usable including water jug was empty and no cups, pool room is indoors but always has an issue with heating the room and the pool. It was freezing to even sit in the room this past weekend and it was close to fifties outside so clearly they had problems heating the room on top of the pool itself. Room are clean but could use some updating, or at least I little deeper cleaning now and then as I find it interesting to find cobwebs in the same spots as I stayed months ago in the same room. Bathroom door has dent/crack, toilet seat was stained/melted? In spots, and shower faucet has issues and you literally have to turn it past what should be the stop to it shutting off again then a little further to actually find a small area on the wheel of it the water comes back on and actually gets warm enough to enjoy the shower. None of this is enough to keep me from coming back. Staff is nice enough. Good deal if you aren’t picky.

Close location but not excellent

The hotel was really close to the hospital that a loved one was at and that was why we stayed there. The shower rod needed some real maintenance, picture shown below. Our air conditioner in the room sounded like it was on its last leg. My kids found clumps of hair in the pool when swimming, which they stopped after finding that. Small breakfast selection, eggs, sausage, bagels and a couple cereals. Overall, I would go somewhere if we are ever back in that area.

BED BUGS! My stay was very unpleasant. Will never stay with Baymont again. I got to the hotel late Sunday night only to get to my room, unpack everything, and almost get into bed when I noticed a BED BUG and crumbs in the corner sheets. I grabbed my things and went to the lobby, only for the worker to hardly apologize and get me a new room. He asked if I had used the bathroom to see if the room was now “dirty”, but I think it already was because of the bugs. Then in my new room there were no bugs but stains on the sheets and towels and food crumbs left on the floor. AWFUL PLACE!!
