Nice, clean environment, helpful and pleasant staff. Great choice, close to everything you need.
Ryan
The hotel was in a remodeling phase, but I had learned during my stay that this phase has lasted well over a year. The room design was unusual in the shower faucet fell off when I touched it so I had to take a hot shower at least the room was newly remodeled the POS system in the lobby/bar area wasn’t working they charge anything you order to your room and I had a charge on my card that I did not order. I will not be returning to this hotel.
Felipe
It’s not a modern hotel but it is clean, good breakfast buffet and close to restaurants. For a business trip it’s great.
Wayne
Breakfast was excellent. Large variety and great tasting.
Only 2 luggage carts were available. For a hotel this size seems like there should have been more.

michelle
Very clean.....amazing customer service...room was immaculate..I'm 317...not enough parking but that's the least of my worries
Dana
Friendly reception staff and decent breakfast choices. The coffee could have had a refresh. Very convenient location with several restaurants, shopping and movie theater within walking distance.
Yvette
Clean modern room and comfortable bed.
Mike
The staff is friendly and helpful, regardless of day or shift. They have a nice pool, more for fun/cooling off rather than doing laps. The breakfast was/is the same every day. A few assorted cereals, juice and milk, bacon bits, French toast, sausage links, and powdered eggs. They have fruit and yogurt, instant oatmeal in a big warmer, a toast/bagels/muffins. And sometimes they have coffee. After 2-3 days you’ll want to find alternatives, I recommend the Breakfast Club.
The room was clean and modern with a nice bathroom. My only issues are that the toilet is in with the shower, not the when one has to go while another showers. And the bed is soft. Good for anyone under 100 pounds or in excess of 300 pounds, not so much for in between.
For the money, it’s a good choice for a few days. Beyond that, you’ll want something else for better sleep and breakfast.

Hotel was nice and staff was friendly one even brought out pool floats for my son to play with in the pool. The only complaint is the bathroom was a little tight in the room. Other than that everything was great.
Marilyn
I've had the opportunity to stay previously at the Hyatt and was pleased with the remodeling and updates to the rooms. The only suggestions would be to install shower bars in the showers and a shelf in the shower area for the bath towels so you have someplace to put the towels while showering.
belinda
The beds was comfortable.would like to have a microwave. And bigger bathroom. But it was good
Olivia

Hunter
Nothing at this time
Angela
We booked a room for a concert nearby at the Coliseum and this hotel was super clean and staff was very friendly.. very much worth the price of the room which was phenomenal
Dave
Our room was clean and quiet. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was excellent, and the hotel was close to everything we hoped to visit. My only complaint is the lack of indication that the pool and fitness center-two of the reasons we chose this property for our stay-were closed for renovation. We found out at check-in. I felt a little bait and switched and I had 3 disappointed children. I understand that this is a timing issue and renovations are important for progress, but had I known prior to check-in that two of my search choices were unavailable we would have stayed somewhere else. As it was, our stay was pleasant and overall the property is good and improving.
Michael
We really enjoyed our experience at the Hyatt place hotel! Newly remodeled, nice lobby and facilities. The room was very nice and very clean. Bed clothes outstanding! Hotel situated right next-door to shopping and numerous dining choices. Would eagerly stay there again.
Hannah
Great stay! Very helpful staff! Clean rooms!
Crystal
The staff were really nice. The room was big, spacious, clean, and nice.
Donna
I get it - remodeling. But drilling and nailing was taking place at 7:09 in the morning. The room was very nice.
Sheila
Room was okay. Elevators were dirty and lobby needed mopped.
Audrey
Not. Disappointed
DAira
Every time we come here we have a good time! 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Sherri
All of the staff was outstanding!
Richard
Everything was very good as usual, the breakfast was very good. TV WAS OK , needs to improve on movie selection,it appeared most watchable shows were pay for view. When we stayed construction was going on very loud, we were not on business. But pleadure, we were in room during afternoon, very, very noisy,,, I would check to see in remodeling is finished before booking.I give 2 instead of 5 stats, just because of noice.
Hiskias
The hotel is going through renovation. There's a lot of construction debris. On Saturday morning construction noise started at 6:30am. I found it dishonest there's no mention of construction on the hotel booking website or third party website. Luckily the room we got has already gone through the renovation so it was clean. The breakfast was okay, stuff were friendly.
raymond
Room was large and immaculate, towels large and very thick, wish I was staying for more than one night, had a separate sitting room which was nice. Breakfast was amazing served on real dishes and silverware, lots of options to choose from, delicious! Definitely will be back!
Sherri

Ronniza

Andrew

The hotel is currently undergoing some renovations which did make for some noise and a little bit of mess, but the public areas were clean. My room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast food was pretty good. It was very conveniently located, with food and shopping nearby. Overall, it was a positive experience. I would stay there again.

Staff was very helpful changing one of my rooms and straighting the rooms, it was a good stay!

The property was under remodel on some floors but it was so well managed that the hotel was still so clean and quiet and running smoothly.
They have a bar and dinner options inside and is conveniently located to a main thoroughfare with many fine dining options.

At check in we were greeted by one of the friendliest workers we’ve ever had at any hotel. I wish I’d caught her name. Our room was one of the recently renovated rooms, so it was clean and in great shape (I can’t speak for the one that have yet to be renovated). Breakfast was great… sausage, scrambled eggs, French toast, potatoes, cereal, toast, bagels, juice, milk, fruit. WiFi worked well. All staff we encountered were friendly. We had a room near the elevator, but it was surprisingly not too loud. I saw some people complain about the beds being too soft or too hard in some of the reviews…. That’s very subjective. Our mattresses were perfect for us. The pillows couldn’t get much better either… not sure if they were down or a down alternative, but they were fluffy and conformed to your sleeping position. They did flatten out a bit as the night went on, but they were easy to readjust. They’re better than any of the many pillows we’ve bought over the years for home.

They are revamping this hotel. But this didn't affect our stay. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was the best we have had on our road trip thus far with real plates and very kind kitchen staff. Really enjoyed our stay.

We arrived about midnight due to an unseen tire problem. The clerk seemed annoyed, we were pleasant, and annoyed. The room was clean. The downstairs area around pool was a mess. The pool was not ready to use on memorial weekend- still garbage from winter in the pool. Trash was blowing around outside (no one p,picked it up) and garbage cans were full- even after memorial day.
There was lots of early morning construction crews working. It was noisy throughout the day in our room. They breakfast are the same - each day....
I believe the they need more staff and more ambitious staff.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised at the breakfast offerings and overall stay. When coming back to Fort Wayne, we will stay here again.

I’m not gonna nitpick on this. I will only say there were a few tiny issues but I would definitely stay here again. I was on the top floor and it was very quiet.
Linda
Room was very clean and beautiful. Will definitely stay again!
Bobbi
Good breakfast
Jon
It was a nice stay. Front desk staff were super nice and friendly. Thank you.
Renee
They were undergoing renovations at the time we were there, which are very much needed in the rooms. Staff was helpful, but internet was out for one day. I think once the renovations are complete should be good to stay, but until they are completed would look for somewhere else.
Julie
Best breakfast at a hotel we have ever had! Great customer service!
Jennifer
the room was perfect for our larger family. Breakfast was excellent with many options.
DAira
Breakfast good staff nice
Nancy
The room was very open and comfortable. It’s clearly an older property and might need a refurbishing soon. The breakfast buffet was THE BEST we’ve had our entire journey! Kudos to the management!
John
TV system was simple Free-To-Guest. Was not what I'd expect to see at any Hyatt hotel.
WiFi was completely unusable. I was forced to use my cell data plan.

Clean rooms, friendly staff and breakfast was good, hot and plenty available. Could use more variety for breakfast.
Mandy
Clean hotel, I felt comfortable at this hotel
Brent
We did like the layout of our room in that had separate seating/TV area, a wetbar, sink & desk. The bathing facilitiies & 'make-up areas were also separate, which made access convenient.
Michael
The hotel was nice, it appeared some construction was going on so some early morning hammering and construction trailers taking up parking so I had to park across the street in a vacant lot. Not the most convenient but not a huge deal.
Dennia
Overall nice however the room i stayed could have cleaned the floors there were bugs dead on the carpet by the window .. i ddnt like that at all .. just ddnt expect.. but other than that very nice stay and breakfast was great ..

The pool was closed for the season which isn’t listed when you book so that was disappointing but the staff was very kind and accommodating. The breakfast was on time and delicious considering I had an early start it was definitely appreciated. The rooms were clean and spacious. Plus the property is conveniently within walking distance of just about any last minute shop you would need to visit while traveling. Only downside is it’s next door to a movie theater so the parking lot seems to be overcrowded at night
Karen
Overall the hotel and staff were very nice.
Miguel
It was clean, but there was a smell like humidity, the infrastructure is old and not very weel mantined in my opinion
Cynthia
Great experience. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Nice location.
James
Good breakfast, large room.
Josh
Older hotel. My room had a lot of weird angles. No microwave in the room. Walls seemed thin could hear neighbor tv/conversations.

They r under renovations . Staff was quite friendly . I had booked my room app. Nine months before arrival and had pd . But upon arrival was told there was a problem . I was definitely surprised . I was offered a handicapped room there or a 2 bedroom at another hotel . We were exhausted so we took current handicap room there . But was given a full refund . Which was very kind . Just was very confused. The next morning at breakfast 3 ladies near us told us they had booked there room 4 days before arrival ???? The 2 bedroom I had booked 8 months prior ? But free room was nice and excellent hot free breakfast . Sausage .scrambled eggs , potatoes , fr.toast , fruit and oatmeal was offered . I would definitely try to stay again . Also was a musty smell in hallway . But room was very clean .
Tina
I had booked a year in advance and on the day I arrive to find out that I was moved to another hotel without any notice. I was pretty much called a liar by the hotel staff.
I’ll never book at that hotel in Fort Wayne

Comfortable and clean room, attentive, staff, lots of parking, located near lots of restaurants and shops for last minute needs. We had a great stay.
shaan
The front desk staff was extremely attentive to my needs, and I didn’t have to wait long for anything I asked for. Highly recommend.
Derric
Everything top tier
Audra
Hotel is very outdated. The bar was not open the three nights I stayed there.
Darlene
Breakfast was the same 3 days in a row. Oatmeal was cool and very lumpy. The fruit was all mushy.
We did not use the pool.
Frayed carpets, blinking lights

Construction right above my room from 7:00a until 7:00p right away. They should not be putting guests on the second floor when there is pounding on the ceiling from the third floor construction. Horrible stay.
DAira
The room was beautiful and the stay was AMAZING!! The staff was also nice as well.

Good
Christie
Overall everything was great, nice quiet location.
Amy
Spacious king room. Hotel was under construction at the time as it is a little dated. Otherwise, had a good experience.
Michael
It seems like they are working to improve the property but they have come short on several items… we reserved a King room but had to settle for 2 double beds… the bathroom is so tiny I think phone booth would be the most accurate description. Our door rattled anytime someone walked past our room or when the door to the stairway was closed. The best part we didn’t need to set an alarm to wake up in the morning because we could hear the alarm of the person in the room next to ours. There was a god awful chemical smell when we arrived on Saturday but that went away when we made it to the fifth floor and closed our door.
kevin
staff was Great
Paul
Room was nice, cleaning service was every 2 days. Lots of construction. Breakfast was not appealing.
Nicole
Nice hotel. Good gathering space in the lobby for our group to hang out. Unfortunately the breakfast wasn’t good, but free is free when you’re in a hurry! Just know that going in.
Emily
Clean room
Diana
Spotless room, great size for a family of 5
Jacqueline
Mold in room, heater doesn’t work, very uncomfortable stay for me had to sleep in layered clothes just to get room. Looks like a reject Hyatt
Daryl
Very nice, clean, spacious room. Great location! Comfortable bed. The room vent fan was very loud, but had some weird noises at times.
Check-in staff was very courteous and helpful. The front desk person the next morning, however, appeared to be annoyed with any questions.

The Staff were amazing!!! Friendly and prompt. The desk clerk must have been a new hire and was training.. boy she was doing an excellent job! Explained everything well and showed me all of what my stay had to offer and where and when it was offered. Hotel was clean, parking lot was properly lit and felt safe. The room was the cherry on top! Nice beds, huge tv! Sleeping area and the living area were separated and it was so nice. Plenty of light and quiet. You could hear the 3 rd floor renovation work being done but it wasn’t loud or disturbing. Had a great visit to Fort Wayne. I will book this hotel again.
William
It was an extremely comfortable stay
Tayana
Staff polite and courteous. One small detail I appreciated was that real silverware, glassware and plates were used verses paper products.
Chad
Staff was very helpful and nice
Courtney Elizabeth
Great stay! Beds were one of the best hotel beds I have ever stayed at. Breakfast was good and with different options. Staff was very nice.
VICKIE
Room was very clean, renovated and staff was amazing!
Meaghan
New updates were very nice. Breakfast was good. The heating system in the room was very hard to control and was either blasting very high heat or freezing cold air, no comfortable in between temperature.
Kevin
Refreshed room, = great difference !
Recommend keeping breakfast buffet open later as I arrive too late to get up to partake in it.
