I really loved the breakfast. The homestyle yogurt machine I had never seen one like it before. Would have liked a ground floor room as we were staying with a dog. It was a quiet room though, and we were staying near the stairs with our own little hallway, as they put the pet friendly rooms close to the stairs for easy access. Overall was a clean place with friendly staff and a good value for the money.

I booked a room for a day I seen the room was dirty chairs had some type of liquid I don’t know what it is and looked very poorly maintained.I checked in and in less than 20 min I checked out. I’m so disgusted by this hotel I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy, even regarding the customer service they didn’t say we will give a another room or Aleast show some type of care and compassion. I’m highly disappointed in this hotel.

This Best Western was a disappointment. The lobby was full of half a dozen noisy, wet teenage girls when we arrived. Our room was pretty standard but felt rundown. The bathroom had cracks in the floor, marks on the walls, and a weird narrow bath towel that we couldn’t figure out. The tub was scary. I thought it would crack or buckle under my weight and it didn’t drain properly so there was about three inches of standing dirty water when I was done.

We hardly got any sleep due to the noisy girls running up and down the hallway, talking and giggling at all hours of the night and even outside. Then there was an old A/C unit that made loud machine sounds when the fan turned on. July 3rd was not a night to have no A/C.

We were supposed to stay a total of three nights but we checked out after the first. We won’t be back.

Debra was available to replenish and kept the breakfast area clean and she was very friendly. She decorated the facility for upcoming Fourth of July an added bonus!

Had trouble when I checked in. The guy there told me he could noy find my reservation. The guy seemed to be upset with life. Got to my room it had a bad smell? Went to the front desk and there were a shift change and an attitude change also. Lucy was full of joy and had a Great attitude with me. She changed the room and kept asking me if she could do anything to help out.

We stayed 4 nights recently. We booked this hotel bc it was dog friendly, breakfast bar, and had an indoor heated pool. The building is in dire need of updating. Carpets in hallways and rooms need a GOOD vacuum and carpet cleaning or just replaced. Hallways reeked of marijuana after 7pm every evening. Our room had a weird smell to it, assumably from previous pets in the room. Room also could be spruced up and cleaned better. Linens were clean though and NO bed bugs! We found broken glass bottles outside of our vehicle one morning that was NOT there the night before. The pool was closed for maintenance pretty much our entire stay. Like I said, the pool was a main reason we booked. They said that there was a foam on top from lotions. My husband inquired about this multiple times and was essentially told “we can’t control the oils and lotions that people wear in our pool”. I think they could have discounted our stay or offered for us to use the pool at a neighboring hotel…. They did not do either. Because the pool was closed, we were essentially trapped in a hotel room with a toddler for 4 nights with little to do. I would not stay at this location again. There are other Best Westerns in Fort Wayne.

I will say that the breakfast bar was decent! Unfortunately there are not coffee machines in rooms so you can only get coffee during the breakfast bar hours.

The chair and carpets were stained in the bedroom and the halls, the shower curtain was missing in the bathroom, and the security inside lock was broken off. The hotel had a really lovely design, but was very tired looking. Cheerful Fourth of July decor, and a fine breakfast.

The room was comfortable enough. There are no grab bars in the shower/bath. There are no coffee makers in the rooms. If you want coffee or decaf in your room either bring your own coffee and maker, or instant. I burned myself twice trying to carry coffee to my room.

The breakfast lady is gold and the food she prepares is good.

My only complaint is that the carpet either needs to be deep-cleaned or taken up. My opinion is taken up. The room smelled bad from other animals, because it was pet-friendly and you could smell urine even my Shih Tzu was sniffing around. I ended up going to the store and purchasing incense to burn to get rid of the smell in order to sit in the room Seriously, the owner should consider removing the carpet. The staff was great, breakfast was nice, and overall the room was clean, except for the odor.

We booked 2 nights for our daughter’s cheer competition. When we got to our room it wasn’t clean at all. One bed had feces smeared down the side of the bed. I went to the front desk to ask for a different room and was told there was wasn’t another room. When I went back up to the room and we looked closer at the bed there was a love note between the sheets which obviously showed the sheets weren’t changed. My wife and I went down to the front desk and we were then told the only other room available was “their best room” but she would put us in that room. However she didn’t mention it was only one bed so our 13 year old would have to crawl in bed with us or that it was only available for one night and that we would have to pack up and move out of that room first thing in the morning. That room didn’t have feces down the bed but it wasn’t much cleaner. Needless to say we did not stay the second night and none of us sleep good the first night. We were promised a full refund for both nights after we had the lady at the front desk call the manager Mike at home but we have not see any refund.

I got a room for the night w the intention to get my daughter ready for her cheer competition. Our room wasn’t ready until almost 2 hours after check in time. I had to have her get dressed in the restroom & start her hair in the breakfast area. The lighting in the whole entire place is awful. I had trouble seeing to do her hair, makeup, and my own makeup. I got her ready in front of the window & it still wasn’t that bright in the room. We will NEVER stay there again. We’re in town a lot bc my husband’s base is there but, never again!

When we reserved, we asked for a handicap rm w a walk in shower. We ended up on the 3rd floor in a non handicap room w a very bad tiny tun w no bars to help get in and out of the tub. I contacted them early next morning and they did get us a handicap rm switched; however, we ended up w 1 bed. There was still a tub but at least it had the protection bars. My handicap mother is all bruised up from forcing her legs over the tub side. We were told the pool would be open monday at 9:00 am and it was not opened until thursday, for the first time.None of the ice machines worked, so I had to get ice from a staff member. The breakfast was ok, so no complaints there. I feel like the pictures online played up what the rooms looked like, compared to the actual room. The staff were friendly but I will not be staying w them in the future. The bed was very comfortable, so that I was thankful for. We stayed there for 7 nights, so the money pd was for sure more than it should have been.

Our window was pane was broken all over and literally duct taped together, bathroom fan didnt work which explained the water damage on bathroom door and trim, half smoked cigarette between the bed and wall, the corners and carpet along the trim clearly hadn't been swept in god knows how long, ants were found in the bathroom and between the AC and bed, asked for towels and they didnt have any, asked for a hair dryer and she had to look through multiple empty rooms before she found one she could give to me, and there was trash all over the property outside.

Didn't eat the breakfast, use the pool, fitness room or any other amenity.
The only positive thing I can say about the place is that the girl at the front desk was very sweet, pleasant and tried to be as helpful and accommodating as she could.

Won't be staying there again. Too many other/better options in ft wayne for the same price

I am extremely disappointed with how management handled a simple billing error during our Mother's Day weekend trip to Fort Wayne. Due to a geographic mix-up, I accidentally double-booked and ended up staying at a different Best Western property in Fort Wayne for my May 8-10 trip. I believed I had cancelled this hotel through Expedia well in advance of my trip.
At 5:32AM on May 10th, I contacted this hotel's front desk immediately upon noticing the issue. I had not received a call from this location. The staff was initially helpful, confirming they would cancel the reservation and have the manager call me to process the refund. The young lady I spoke to told me she was able to cancel and their manager would reach out to me to confirm the details of the cancellation. Because I booked via Expedia, Expedia even sent the hotel a formal waiver so the property wouldn't lose any commission fees for authorizing the cancellation.
Despite the hotel having this waiver, being the merchant of record (they charged my card directly), and having the full ability to reverse the transaction, the manager completely ghosted me. They never provided the promised call-back and ignored the waiver. It is incredibly bad business to pocket the money for an unused, formally cancelled room when an honest mistake was made—especially when they had the green light from the booking platform to make it right.

I stayed here with my husband and four kids (ages 6mo-5yrs). I would definitely recommend this hotel for people traveling with kids— excellent price for what you got —a nice big room with pleanty of space for pack n plays and toys. Breakfast was fresh and had a good variety, and nice heavy tables that didn’t tip. There was also a lovely lady who was there each morning and happily greeted us and made sure we had all we needed. Bedrooms were comfortable, and the bathrooms and bedding were very clean and well attended to. There were a few things that were a little less than optimal but by no means “dealbreakers”. The room was a little stale (but not smelly) and alongside one of the beds was a fried potato wedge; in the living room area there was an unopened bag of Funions (which, honestly, we ended up eating…because who doesn’t love a surprise treat?) as well as multiple, subtle red juice type stains on the carpet. We came in on a Monday, so my guess is that the weekend cleaning staff may have been a little tired by the time they got to our room and overlooked a few things. Besides that, the freezer was in need of a little wipe down but was usable, reasonably clean and cold. They also had TWO Roku TVs which made entertaining the kids super easy (no channel surfing!) The hotel has been recently renovated, has a nice pool, helpful front desk, and I would definitely stay here again!

Staff were not engaged or friendly at all upon arrival. Every time I passed the counter, whatever employee was there was just staring at their phone. The pool was small and quickly crowded. There was trash that was never picked up off the table in the smoking area. I actually eneded up going over there and cleaning it up the next morning when I noticed it was still there. The AC in our room did not work and our room got up to about 80 degrees. Luckily, we were able to open the window to cool off and air out the room. There were glass rings on the tables from drinks from the prior renters. To top it all off, the tub took hours to drain after showering, which also had very poor water pressure. Almost forgot to mention that the yogurt machine was dirty and had a bunch of ants on it, all while the food prep lady sat talking loudly with a group next to her tip container. I dont usually leave such honest reviews, but I was very disappointed in the experience here. I do want to mention that I have stayed at quite a few BW hotels over the years and this was my first poor experience. I am hoping it is just this one location.

All confirmation emails for our rooms, we had three, stated that the pool was open until 10pm. When we checked in at 8:42pm, we were told the pool for children was only open until 9pm and 10pm for adults only. We had very upset children with us. It was unexpected and not stated in any policy we could find.
Also my hotel was booked thru hotels.com and I selected to pay on the day of checkin. I was charged a week prior to our stay with no notification.
Within our rooms, we were not provided sheets or pillows for the pullout couch and we’re not offered them at check-in. The hotel was full due to many events going on in the area. We were given one for five people because they were limiting them for the guests. Very unprofessional and under prepared.

I stayed here with my daughter and her two friends for one night. The woman at the front desk was soooo sweet and sooo patient with me. I left my keys to my room twice so I had to have her make me two keys. She was patient and kind. She even let my girls swim 45 minutes past the pool being closed. Overall, I was very appreciative of her generosity.

The room was very cute! I wish the TVs were a bit bigger. It was hard to watch them at night. The room I was in had a pull out couch with no pillows or blankets or sheets so we had to go ask for some. There was ability to hang a towel on the towel rack on the back of the door because it had a screw hanging out and the other one was barely holding it to the door. It was very loose.

Another thing is that there wasn’t really any trash cans. There was one through the whole room. It was a bigger room made for multiple people so it definitely needs one more added in to help with cleanliness.

Overall I enjoyed my stay! I would come back for sure

This was a scary hotel. Lobby was dirty. The hallway had dog poop in it. The door to the outside didn’t secure properly. The furnace was falling apart. The bed was disgustingly gross. The jacuzzi was so old and gross. We only stayed here for 1 hour. We were scared to any longer. We had our little granddaughter with us. We did not feel safe at all. I want my full refund and I don’t know how to get it back. The office said I had to go through Expedia. I had anxiety so bad. We went and got a room at Wyndham across the street. We joined my husband on a business trip so we reserved two rooms. They were just okay one was a little better than the other. They were across from each other. One of the rooms we questioned if it was even cleaned? My husband noticed a strong odor and it ended up being someone's left over pasta left in the microwave for who knows how long, that was nasty 😳 then I noticed two used washcloths hanging over the shower curtain rod that was also overlooked, again nasty!
It's a hotel that really needs some updating I guess if you are just passing through and need a night to lay your head It's ok. We were there for three nights and to be really honest I wished I had picked something better. I felt kinda deceived by the reviews and pictures which I'm pretty diligent with really looking at.

It was very run down. Rooms had a musty smell. The pull out sofa was very uncomfortable. That room also had a motion sensored light, so everytime my son moved on the sofa, the light would turn on. There was no vent in the living area, so we had to leave the bedroom door open so that there was air flow. I will not recommend this hotel at all. The only good part was the lady who helped in the kitchen. I dont remember her name, but she was extremely kind and sweet. Thats why I am giving this a 2 star.

She took the time to bring up bedding for the pullout for him a.

Quite smelled liked old cigarettes. After repeatedly asking front desk to makeup the room, finally was done after fourth day. Hotel staff worker parks in handicap spot when she was clearly late to work
