Staying at a non-“big box” labeled property is always a gamble. The BestWestern Fort Wayne North is a diamond in the rough!
Upon walking up to the front door, I was pleasantly surprised how clean the outside of the property was. Check in was easy, and efficient. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I especially appreciated the individual touch of a phone call from staff to ensure the room met my expectations and to ask if there was anything that I needed. It was nice to be recognized as a human guest, not just another number in the cog of the machine.
HIGHLY recommend this property! I will definitely be back.

Clean room and bathroom. Nice staff.
Caitlin
Room was a little humid and musty, but clean. We used the washer and dryer which cleaned our clothes fine enough. The front desk sells detergent for $2 and it’s $3.50 each to wash/dry (takes quarters or card).

Big room. Good stay for work..

My wife and I booked king suite for two nights while visiting our adult children and 5 grandchildren over the July 4th weekend. Our room was very spacious but only had meager furnishing for a suite- bed, desk, couch, coffee table, TV stand with larger hotel freezer/ fridge. We liked the larger fridge with a small freezer space; that was handy for our cooler. The room had ample room for an upholstered chair, but only had the couch for seating. The mattress was comfortable but the pillows were small squares not even queen-sized much less king. The bathroom area had two sinks - which was nice, but no shower curtain. The staff did fix that quickly. Our biggest complaint is that they made us sign an agreement stating we would not let any of our family swim in their pool. As grandparents who don't even use the pool ourselves, we always get a hotel with a pool so our grandchildren can swim and the adults can visit. We won't be staying here again.
Mihaela
Want to say that the hotel is clean and staff helpful but only one suggestion: because the.check out is at 12pm the breakfast will be nice to last until 10am.
Ronald
$15 charge to check in early.

Great accommodations

I have stayed at this hotel a few times now. It never disappoints! Always have a blast with the family in the pool. Breakfast is very good. Close proximity to restaurants and events.
Jan
We stayed 4 nights and the room was never cleaned, beds changed or towels restocked we made our own beds and got our own clean towels from the lobby.
The tub had no slip strips. The curtain rod was coming out of the tile, so the curtain kept sliding to the middle of the tub- causing water on the floor or wet floor mats.
Friday night was a mess with some patrons causing issues, local police were called, about using a room on the floor we were on.
Couldn’t use the pool Saturday night because a group of older teens ( maybe 18-20yo) made it their mission to cause excessive waves, water everywhere and just generally not welcoming for anyone else wanting to use the pool.
A hair in the scrambled eggs on Saturday- which we attributed to other travelers spending the night and eating breakfast.
We were extremely disappointed!

Once a year we travel to Pennsylvania. On the return trip we stopped at this Best Western. Right away my wife commented on how nice this hotel was compared to others we have stayed at. I agreed. Needless to say, we will be staying at this same spot next year.

Jerri
The Front Desk staff were great, especially Christian when we checked in. Friendly and informative. The room was clean but lean. The breakfast bar was also lean compared to others. I was disappointed to not have cold water available other than vending machines.
Blake
Clean, front desk staff very friendly. Convenient location.
David
Beds are horrible. Mattresses are super hard. Breakfast eggs are watery. Front desk person seemed to have a problem with English grammar.
Joshua
Yes it was good and thank you to Angela and the housekeeper can’t remember her name but she was great will go back

Jaime
Breakfast was decent and clean. Parking was sufficient and location is excellent
Keri
Cleaniest hotel I have ever been to!
Brittany
Breakfast area is smaller, but it’s okay. Parking is a nightmare when it’s busy, rooms are average. I think they could be cleaner, I didn’t take any pictures but in our room the corner had like dirt/mud caked along the trim.
John
We have stayed here before and keep coming back. The parking area is tight as it shares space with other restaurants and businesses, but doable. Not a lot of grassed area but plenty enough for our dog, which is a primary reason we come back. The rooms are always immaculate and the staff is really well trained.
Jin
It was a great place to stay for one night.
Judith
We have stayed in this hotel in the past and the convenience and location is perfect. The hotel staff is great and the facilities, while a little dated, were comfortable.

It was nice
Melissa
Our room was very quiet and mostly well laid-out. The 4 of us appreciated having the toilet and shower in one room with the sink separate. We did think it would've been a bit nicer to have a mirror out in the main sleeping area. It was great to have the room-darkening shade and the ability to be so close to the breakfast area. I've never seen a hotel in a strip mall the way this one was laid out, but it worked out just fine.
Lou Ann
I was actually pretty quite being close to a highway - but in the morning some guests where not happy and they let all know that
Joseph
The breakfast was excellent and well serviced.
Bridget
Staff was top notch, very friendly and accommodating. Hotel is very clean. I stayed in a king bed room which included a microwave and dorm room size refrigerator that got very cold! Room was a good size and very clean as well. Loved the window coverings, total black out with no gaps. Hotel was also quiet despite being completely booked. Close to many restaurants and amenities. Would definitely stay again next time I am in Fort Wayne.
Julie
Checking in was easy - they moved us to the first when they saw I had my 90 year old father with me. I appreciated that.
Robin
Breakfast was warm and good. Check in staff was great. Pool was great temp. Was kinda weird having a hotel in the middle of a shopping strip center so a bit noisy, but absolutely doable. Check out staff wasn’t very friendly. Kurt and unhelpful. But overall a good stay.
Elysha
Would’ve loved to use the pool but it was occupied by two or three families that had kids in the pool all day yelling and jumping in and the parents hanging out in the lobby not watching them for hours both days we were there. We left at 12 and went out came back around 4 and they were all still in there so we tried again at 7 and they were still there we gave up at 8:30 when we checked again. That’s our only complaint great place to stay.
Steven
Room was great. Basic hotel but no complaints
Roderick

Nikki
Breakfast was wonderful. Clean rooms and comfortable beds! Staff was very friendly.
Anthony
the staff were very friendly, easy check in & check out. the room was huge (but a bit dated). many restaurants close by, some within walking distance. the breakfast was plain but good. for price I didn’t expect a resort hotel, but good enough for traveling alone and for 2 nights.
Susan
The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff were professional and friendly.
Adrienne
Pictures didn’t lie! The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was great, and our room was spotless. We arrived with nothing after our flight was canceled, and the hotel kindly provided toiletries, which we truly appreciated.
A special shout-out to Dakota for making check-in smooth and for having such a great attitude. He really helped make a bad day much better!

Always clean with a very frendly staff

The room was decently clean, but the stairwells smelled of cigarettes and dog waste. The bed was comfortable, and the sheets were soft enough.

Courteous staff.

The hotel itself wasn’t awful. However the beds were the worse beds I’ve ever laid on. We couldn’t figure out the tv and called the front desk for help, the receptionist came upstairs and couldn’t figure it out either also stated Netflix/Hulu/Youtube wouldn’t work bc they couldn’t figure out the internet which then leads to, phones with horrible service and no WiFi to use. The pool was fairly cold.
Michelle
It was a great value!

Room smelled like pets. I realize it’s a pet friendly hotel which I can appreciate but the room smelled and felt dirty. We were on the first floor and didn’t feel the safest with the window facing the back of the property.
Breakfast was good but I wouldn’t stay again or recommend.

The room was bismal. Look like dog vomit on the floor. The pillow case was thread warn and had a hole in it. The refrigerator didn't work and the room smelled like burning plastic and as info one had occupied in months.
Phil
Clean, quiet, comfortable bed.
Kevin
