The room was spacious and had a kitchen. The big screen TV was nice. The living room was comfortable. The bed which is listed as a queen, is not quite the size of a queen, but it was larger than a double.

The staff was helpful. We had a squeaky bathroom door, which was located in the bedroom. I told the front desk and they took care of it while we were out.

The place felt like there were people that lived there full time. I'm don't know for sure.

The doors to the rooms slammed shut, so there was constant nose in the hallway outside our room

There was breakfast everyday and a small concessions area although it was very pricey.

The kitchen was very clean and it was convenient to be able to get ice on demand in my own freezer. The fireplace was very nice. The breakfast served was very good and fresh. I saw them replenishing items all of the time while I was there (with a hungry baseball team). I really wish, though, that you had a recharging station for my hybrid car. Also, when checking in, it would have been nice if they had a map showing the property, where we were (at the check-in desk) and where my room was. I ended up parking at the wrong end and walked the length of the property twice to get my stuff in my room.

A very nice and quiet location for this hotel with a comfortable and spacious room. The kitchen staff was very friendly and helpful as was one of the behind-the-desk staff. The Worst Residence Inn

We have been coming to this hotel every year for at least 10 years every August.. It has been going down hill for years.. The dirtiness is unacceptable. i only slept here the 1st night! after i saw the amount of mold on the couch i refused to sleep in that room another night! service did the best they could to cover up the cigarette smell.. the amount of mold i saw when i took the cushion off to pull out the bed is beyond disgusting.. It should be ILLEGAL!!! i stayed in room 130 from August 15th to August 17th.. the audacity to charge a pet fee is laughable! stay away from this place.. far nicer hotels around ft wayne with cheaper rates!!! we will never be back!

Our room was too warm and the thermostat didn’t seem to be working very well. Neither of us could sleep. The bed did not seem to be a queen size. We were cramped.
The tub was SUPER slippery!!! There was a bar to grasp but the tub surface was so slippery we had to place a wash cloth down for traction. This is not safe for seniors or anyone else!
There were no working lights in the bedroom. Weird.

The Inn is very clean. Breakfasts are fantastic,
with lots to choose from!
Our lovely room space housed the most unique features and modern amenities. One could appreciate the thoughtful landscape of the elements in the room.
I like that!
The cozy Inn fits into one's lifestyle for vacation and or business.
We slept well in the most comfortable bed.
The residence is in a convenient location near popular attractions. There are many places to visit, such as restaurants, retail stores, and medical businesses.

The room was spacious, staff friendly, and breakfast had a good variety.
The hotel in general, including the room, definitely could have been quite a bit cleaner.
During our stay there was a tornado warning. There was no direction from the hotel (in writing or in person) about where to go/what to do. We monitored the weather channel and decided we were okay in the room. Once that watch had expired, we went to bed only to be woken up about an hour later by the fire alarm. It went off for about a minute max. Again, no communication from the hotel regarding it.
Probably wouldn't stay again.

This size of the room was nice and the kitchen area was nice. However, we only stayed at this hotel so our 5 year old could swim and the pool was closed for that day only. They told us it would be open the next day and it wasn’t, so she was even more bummed that we got up early hoping she could swim for a couple of hours and she didn’t get to. The fitness room was extremely small and the two machines in there were really old and run down. The hotel had a pretty bad smell throughout the hallways. Also, when pulling into the parking lot, a bunch of mattresses were observed laying around their dumpster and trash laying every where. This was a sad Marriott, we were really bummed because Marriott hotels usually are really nice. When we called the Marriott main number, they were rude and ended up hanging up on us. We won’t ever stay here again and possibly won’t stay at another Marriott in the future.

The pictures of rooms in fort wayne, Indiana on website are not the actual room pictures. It is very deceiving. We were expecting a private bedroom with a door nor did it have the mentioned sq footage! The room we were given did not have that and we paid for a King suite. We had to speak to a front desk person who at first was not going to accommodate us at all until we ask to speak to a manager. Then we had to settle for a Queen size room. The room was not clean and there was some kind if residue in the toilet and tub.

We booked based on other Marriott properties we had stayed at prior and proximity to the The Luther Hospital.
When checked in around 11:30pm and went to our Suit room 126 and when we walked in there was a mildew smell that hit you as soon as you walk in. As we walked in the carpet was filthy a large spot in front of a well worn couch. The sheets on the bed were thread bare and the bath room showed it’s age
I walked down to the front desk and spoke to a seemingly nice lady who looked shocked but ya e us a new room #226 this room did Not have the same smell but to our surprise there was a large stain in the cough the size of a dinner plate... my husband went to sit in the desk chair and found a shoe form with a face on it sitting in the chair.

It became obvious that these rooms ha e not been cleaned, not is management walking through these rooms. With the concerns of COVID you would think management would be on top of there properties and the guest.

I ended up calling Expedia and explained the situation and that we were not comfortable staying in this hotel little a lone this room. The Customer Service Rep was helpful I checking ya out that night!

Room could use some updating. The formica is falling off the edges of the table. The cabinet below the sink is broken. The pool sign said closed on Monday, Sept 2nd and I was told that they didn't think anyone would want to swim that day. The hot tub was out of order for the 5 days we were there. The hotel is staffed poorly on holidays. This is and industry where guests need to be provided for whether or not it's a holiday. I understand the need to be with family but it still should be properly staffed.

This hotel was a nice surprise for me as I've never stayed at a Residence Inn before. The staff was very friendly! The one snag that we had upon arrival was quickly fixed by the night manager. There was a nice pool, basketball court, workout room, and an sitting area outdoors that had a beautiful firepit. The breakfast and the location/area was excellent! The only complaint that I have is....their pillows are the worst pillows ever in the history of pillows. LOL! An easy fix by just bringing your own. I'm in Ft. It was fine, I’ve been staying there for about 12 years now, 1-2 times a year. Never had a bad experience, with lots of new hotels in the area being built a remodeling may be in order in the future? However, you’re not going to get the living space somewhere else that you get in a Residence Inn.
