The outside and inside of the hotel was very unkept. There were bugs in our bathroom and hairs on the sink when we arrived. The pull out bed had wrappers and hair so we did not end up using that. Overall the hotel was very dirty and grimy. I would never stay here again

When we took the stairs the next morning to go to breakfast, the stairwell was very dirty and smelled really bad. They had biscuits and gravy and the gravy was basically water. Stayed here overnight. The area is great with lots of things to do. The hotel itself was not the best but it did what it was supposed to do for the night. The property is in the middle of renovating, but my floor/room was competed which was nice. The doors/walls are thin. Heard every door slam throughout the night, plus every voice that spoke. Didn’t use the pool, but it was available to use. The breakfast was basic but didn’t have eggs which was weird for me lol.

Breakfast was biscuits n gravy served with ice and was told to just microwave it. Couldn’t get them to bring us towels or vacuum room. I would never stay there again. The hotel is obviously undergoing renovations that are needed. The driveway leading up is full of holes. Some spaces are clean and new. Others remain drab at best. Our room was OK. The breakfast area left something to be desired while the breakfast itself left just about everything to be desired. Even the coffee tasted weak and non- descript. Front desk staff always needed to be summoned from somewhere else. The experience was disappointing.

This hotel was awful, it’s currently under instruction so there’s constant noise and strong outer from adhesive. The outside of the building is trash. There was a couch in the lawn and toilet paper hanging from the trees. Breakfast was probably one of the worst hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. Room was not clean and when telling the front desk they ask what would you like us to do about it. If there was a way I would have canceled and stayed somewhere else. I will never be back.

The property was still under renovation but it did not take away from anything. Public spaces were clean and quiet. Our room was nice, updated and clean. Our television remote did not work so we used the manual buttons. Came for breakfast around 8:00a.m. and there wasn't much to choose from. We often book by what the reviews say, that being said we would book here again.

I have three kids under 5 I was exhausted with no help from staff as there under remodel the pool area is being kept as there construction storage room making it dangerous the stairs and also under renovation as they tore carpet up they left the nail tracks on the steps as your walking careful you step on it it’ll go through your shoes there’s nails left everywhere it’s a hazard and just a sign I called ahead to ask about it said u have three small children and the least she could had done was say we are renovating or under construction

We booked a king room with jacuzzi tub (booked at least a month in advance) and was told at check in that the hot tub didn't work so we would have to get a different room. She said she called but a voicemail was never left on my phone, because I do not answer calls from numbers I do not know. Every single time I tried to call the hotel (to see about an early checkin), NOBODY ever answers-called multiple times. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
The bed was uncomfortable, did not sleep well. Could not close the curtains so we got woken up to the daylight as soon as it hit. Horrible experience. Will never stay here again.

Worst stay ever. Had it not been non refundable I would’ve left after the first night. We checked in and after getting kids settled realized the room was less than clean and lacking in basic items such as bath towels. House keeping watched me set out wet towels and then proceed to still leave them after I mentioned something to the front desk. The breakfast was horrible. The pool area had construction materials and garbage all over in addition to a broken pool ladder. When the toilet clogged I was given a plunger to go up to the room with. The stairs were closed due to construction. The elevator and lobby bathroom both smelled horribly of cigarette smoke. Multiple times we needed an employee and they were difficult to find and ended up being in a corner on their phones. When I brought all of this to their attention at checkout I was told “you could’ve stayed somewhere else”.

The first room was ice cold because there was no heat on with snow storm coming. The bathtub had black mold and a broken water handle. The toilet was running nonstop. The 2nd room on 3rd floor was renovated. No phone jack. The tvs in all rooms didn't work but the tv in breakfast room worked until we asked why...she disconnected the signal. We tried to watch movies on laptop, but the electrical outlets overheated the cord, giving off a burning smell.

The entire hotel was a death trap. Construction materials everywhere in hall, gym, the pool, parking lot and in the stairwells. We were unable to use the stairs if fire broke out. I was struck in this dump for two days,then I moved to the holiday inn express.

I was in town for my mom's funeral and to clear out her home. It would have been nice to relax and utilize the amenities but it only made this painful time worst. I have multiple pictures of all the violations. Multiple people threaten to call the fire Marshall on Monday. I would never stay here again

The room was in terrible condition. Leak in the bathroom ceiling that caused the paint to peel and hang down. Walls were damaged. It was clear someone through a party in the room as the tape from the decorations was still on the walls. Shower caulking was black and moldy from not being cleaned well, as was the grout. Found food garbage behind our nightstand. The breakfast is undercooked. They are undoing renovations but it is hidden on their website. Pool cant be used as the area is filled with renovation materials. Doesnt looked like anything has been cleaned or maintained in a long time. Asked for a manager and was told to ask in the morning. Tried in the morning and still was not able to speak with a manager. I firmly believe they should be closed until renovations are complete and they have clean room for people to stay in. We paid just as much for this hotel as we wouldve staying in a clean one, the price was not cheap. Will never be going back.

The room had a foul smell. The mattress was stained. My skin felt ichy the next morning. The usb plug didnt work. The tv didn't work. When I told the staff, they just handed my batteries. The tv still didnt work well. The couch was so bad, I wouldn't even sit on it. The lobby walls are stained and have holes. After the first night, I canceĺed the rest of the stay. My bed linens were stained with some kind of dirt, the shower was filthy with dirt, the pool was marked closed, however they allowed us to swim, but the pool area had boxes of carpeting stacked up, all of the tables and chairs were put away, and the pool was very cold. There was nothing online about the property being in the process of renovation and it just looked very ill kept. I have yet to try their breakfast, but they are very understaffed (so it seems), and on the front desk there was a sign that said the person working the front desk was making breakfast, and manning the desk, so I don't have very high hopes. The online page said non refundable, but I feel if they're going to be so lax with their quality of care for the rooms and common areas, they should at the very least inform their customers that the property is under construction, and allow the opportunity to be refunded so that people can choose not to stay in the middle of a dirty construction site.

DO NOT STAY HERE! There were 30 to 40 mattresses in a bare parking lot when I showed up to check in. Pretty sure they have BED BUGS and LIED and said they are renovating. Would not recommend ANYONE stay in that place. The room they tried to give us smelled like someone had been CHAIN SMOKING in there for years. The walls were yellow. Sheets were wrinkled and looked like they were used. I was in such shock that they even tried to rent this room I didn’t snap a pic I went straight downstairs to demand my money back, which they said no to and hotels.com was able to retrieve it thank god! Absolutely DISGUSTING and refused to host my 8 year olds party in FILTH like that. Place should be closed and stay that way! Pool was brown and the water was oily. Walls all banged up and dirty in the main lobby and hallways. The Hampton next door saved us from this MONSTROSITY of a situation. We are locals and we love our city! Believe me when I say there are plenty of nice hotels in the area and this is on a good side of town so we never imagined that would be the state of things.

The stairwell had hot cocoa stain and rocks that were not cleaned up in my 2-3 day stay. The doors were recently changed and our room did not dead bolt. The 3rd floor stairwell door stuck. The 2nd floor stairwell fire door did not close. The 3rd floor elevator sign was broken and the wall had damage around from the elevator. The corner of the parking lot was strewn with litter and not addressed during our stay. Our room's sink drain stopper was in pieces in the room. And surprisingly, the room slanted as evidenced by the bureau drawers opening on their own when bumped. Sofa couch bed was not great. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good and warm. Pool was cool, but clean and enjoyable. Decent stay but wished they would clean up a bit and fix the doors.

I checked in as a Friday getaway with my partner. We booked a king suite for the jetted tub. Upon entry we utilized the dolly in the foyer to get our items to the room- the carpet on the bottom of it was stained severly. Upon wntering the room I noticed an undeniable slanting in the floor, particularly around the jetted tub (we later noticed that room 213- our room- was directly above the pool, and that the ceiling in the pool area had a massive area of patchwork added to it. There was hair in the carpet, grime in the shower and jacuzzi tub, mold in the mini fridge, spider webs in the corners of the room, dirty hand prints all overthr headboard of the bed. My partner asked the front desk to please reclean the room because it clearly wasnt touched besides the bed made- they blamed it on low staffing and said they would be up to assist. 7 hours later they came in for a quick sweep- still leaving food, spider webs, hand prints, etc. We then spent the entire next day cleaning the room ourselves as it was difficult to sleep in a dirty room. We bought $40 in chemicals and supplies to clean when the front desk refused to assist any further. We had to utilizethe vacuum from the closet that was left open to clean the room. We paid $567.97 for 3 nights for a getaway but spent the majority of that time cleaning. There was catlitter that remained on the south end stairwell the entire time. Spider webs over doorways. Exterior landscaping caused 3 people to fall, that I witnessed.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! In our years of travel we have never stayed at a place quite like this, the room was covered in ants, the pull out sofa was absolutely disgusting, there was a police raid in one of the rooms. We asked for a refund and they tried to put us into a room right next door to where the raid happened with wood chunks all over the floor still, the manager was very combative and refused to give us a refund even after all of this and why we explained our reasoning behind wanting to leave. They still charged us for all 3 nights even though we checked our immediately and went to the Holiday Inn, we are currently disputing the charge with our cc company. Travelers beware, this place is the absolute worst! Im not sure how they have the rating they do but its false.

Very nice welcome & great customer service. Downside was Air Con was 2 foot from the bed, noisy & caused sore heads. Place needs serious refresh. Breakfast was sub par, until fresh items were put out. Seems it is like 2 people running the whole place. Road into it is in serious need of repair. Pool was freezing cold, bottom of pool needs redoing & pool furniture needs refreshing & repairing. Great location. Just needs some money spent on it. Rooms are so dark & water marks on ceiling.

The room was not fully cleaned. On the floor in plane site a peanut and a hook from clothing bought at a store. Under the bed was items. The room had a sleeper sofa but was able to be used because of how dirty it was under the coushen. The carpet has not been shampooed in a long thime. I stayed four nights and only one did I hear them vacuum the hall. Also only once did I smell disinfective cleaner. The desk clerk was hard to understand due to a heavy accent. Last thing I had made an error in my reservation which they corrected. I was told I wouldn't have to go to the front desk to check out and check in for the next reservation. The manager who helped to finx that issue knocked on the door on Wednesday to see if we were checking out when we didn't need to until day. But the worst part the manager didn't wait for my wife to get to the door before using his pass and walking in on us. I ended up calling the corporate office and complained. Because of all this I will never stay at this hotel again. Not sure I will at other locations. And if I could I would give zero or less stars.
