I really loved this room but the hotel is in the tenderloin. The Tenderloin has a lot of drug addicts in the area so please be aware of that before you arrive. Parking is $58 a night and it took them an hour to get my car after I checked out my hotel. Everything in the room was nice. The shower has soap and shampoo , clean towels, clean room

It’s decent for the price. The security deposit is $150, though I can’t figure out what it’s for: when I entered the room, it didn’t smell very pleasant, and the floor was pretty damaged. That’s when you start worrying that, after you check out, maybe they’ll pin the damage on you— claiming that *you* were the one who broke the floor.

They dont answer the phone and theres no parking. Hotel not as described. I didnt check in i went across the street to the pheonix hotel and ended up staying longer than planed. I recommend to go across the street. :)

The parking situation is ridiculous. They expected me to park on some side street by the hotel where a bunch of homeless people were bent over on fentanyl with their butts out. Then they expected me to allow somebody to drive my car down the street to the parking garage. That is not going to happen. I asked if I could just drive my car to the parking garage and the front desk guys said oh you have to come and check in first and then he said I couldn’t do it and then he sent me to some other garage so then I parked at some of the parking garage at a different hotel when I’m not sure why I couldn’t drive my car to the parking garage myself and just walk back to the hotel. It’s hard to communicate at the front desk when I think it’s gonna be a simple process. Hand the guest a paper that says these are the list of parking garage that you can go to and this is the parking garage that we can build your hotel room these are the addresses. It shouldn’t be so damn difficult. This place is awful. And the rooms are super small.

I arrived at the hotel around 8 PM to check in and earlier my car got broken into my wallet stolen. So when I went to go check in, I let them know that I did not have my ID but I had a picture of it and she would not let me check in so I was not able to stay there. I ended up having to sleep in my car because first of all it was too late to reserve another room somewhere else that was affordable. The least this hotel could have been was courteous, understanding and accommodating. Instead of tell me, they could not use a picture on my phone of me holding my ID considering the circumstances. So I will not be going there again.

Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The smell of sewage and feces was unbearable throughout the room and 2nd floor. Furthermore, I couldn’t sleep from other occupants screaming and fighting throughout the night. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE

What really stood out to me was the overall aesthetic and the thoughtful amenities. The hotel has a beautiful, welcoming vibe from the moment you walk in. Breakfast was great, and the highlight for me was the latte machine in the lobby—such a nice touch! I also loved the cucumber-infused water, which made the space feel refreshing and elevated. Overall, a really enjoyable stay.

Room was the size of a dorm room! It’s ok if you’re not planning to stay in the room for long. Room was clean. Cheap toiletries, and housekeeping has no set hours. Vacuum was being used at random hours including nights.
Neighborhood isn’t great.
Parking on your own is not possible! There’s no spaces anywhere near. The “valet” is good enough to keep your car safe overnight but it’s only available from 8am-10. So if you need the car earlier-it’s a hassle, and if it’s past 10pm you have to do street parking on your own.
Hotel was clean inside. Despite the overpowering perfume smell. They keep automated air fresheners running.
Outside in the alley was disgusting as there’s no big dumpster so everything is left on the sidewalk.
Staff was ok. We had interaction w/a male whom seemed to be bothered when asked anything. And then we had another staff member who was polite and professional.
Overall; price seemed high for the area and overall service

This hotel is just ok , no friendly front desk at all , NO PARKING FOR GUEST , there is only valet parking extremely expensive and only for a certain time, rooms are really small and noisy. Areas around the hotel really poor , homeless everywhere, dirty streets all around!!! No recommend.

One of the black out blinds in my room was missing and my room was facing Polk street 3rd floor. Not a good spot to be.
The TV never worked. On my 2nd and final night I asked the gentleman at the reception to help me and he found all cables were unplugged. Not sure how they would leave a room in that condition before a check-in.
There was only one light switch in the room by the door although there were two bedside lamps that were operated by the same one switch by the door.
Any room facing Polk street with very flimsy windows would be too loud at night. I needed white noise.
It’s what you pay for.

Noisy and cold rooms, the breakfast is just a bad joke, broken doors. You will pay 56$/day parking. The maids are screaming starting from 6:00 am, they don’t care if you sleep. Paper thin walls.

It took more than 5 minutes for someone to arrive at the check-in desk to greet me. The only parking to even check in was in the alley and that was unclear in advance. Valet parking garage hours were very limited and parking was $58 per car, which is more than most parking garages in SF. The on-site bar and restaurant are not open all of the days of the week...only \"weekend\" days...this was not made clear in advance, since this was one of the reasons I chose this hotel. I would not stay there again.

The bed is comfortable and no complaints about cleanliness, but you can hear everything through the walls and the neighborhood is pretty noisy and a little sketchy. Staff was courteous. Restaurant next door was excellent. Coffee machine in the lobby seemed to put chocolate in every coffee. Strange.

I don’t mind the neighborhood that’s just expected. If you have a car be aware that to park in the valet it’s limited time for in and out privileges. The walls are super thin. We could hear the people in the room next to us and even when we were down by the elevators we could hear them. There’s will be street noise but again comes with the neighborhood.

My interactions with staff were friendly and helpful. Lobby was nice and had a nice coffee machine. Hotel was deceiving from the pictures. My room door had a missing/broken keypad, no lighting in the shower, and suite with no mini fridge. Would I want to stay here again, no… but if it was the cheapest out of the area when I needed to be back then I would.

No idea how this place is in business, the surrounding areas do not feel safe, the parking is through the roof and unavailable for guests at certain times, the walls are so thin you can hear everything and the guests are concerning- our first room had two neighboring rooms who sounded like they each had someone yelling at the top of their lungs to each other on the phone in their language. A homeless person and a sex worker tried coming upstairs with us. The beds are extremely uncomfortable and the rooms smell like they weren’t cleaned, with visible dust and hair left on the floor from previous guests.

Warning - This is not a 4 star hotel in any sense. The rooms are tiny, I wondered why I hadn’t realized it and when I went back to the Expedia page I noticed they purposely left the square footage out when most hotels give that information. The shower handle was broken to turn the shower on and off, the shelf that is supposed to hold up toiletries in the shower was broken and at an angle so it couldn’t be used, the seal on the shower door didn’t work so water came pouring out onto the ground when showering. There is no fridge inside the room. No microwave either. The ice and beverage area had a sign that said “ice and beverages” but only an ice machine was there so clearly there probably used to be a vending machine but it since had been removed and they are too cheap to update the sign. The windows basically do not exist, if you want to feel like you are sleeping straight on the street, this is the hotel for you. No sound proofing at all so the entire night you hear sirens, music blasting from cars and homeless people screaming and shouting as they walk by. There are no black out curtains so have fun with the bright blaring lights at night shining through your window. When I noticed many of these issues, I immediately went to the check in staff and he said that the manager for the day had left but once he got back in we would be compensated. I told him please follow up with me to make sure this is taken care. And he absolutely didn’t. Not great staff.

BED BUGS! Stayed at this hotel just one night. I saw a bug in the room and was hoping nothing of it. A day and half later my body was covered in 48 bites. This was so traumatizing! I’ve never experienced bed bugs before. I’ve called the hotel for a refund which I don’t believe they are going to refund me. This is absolutely ridiculous to not get my money back after.

Don’t recommend staying here.

The room was spacious, the bed was on the uncomfortable side, the mattress had little cushioning. Service was excellent, the personnel always amicable. What I cannot overlook is the noise. The hotel has speakers with music in the sidewalk 24/7, which is nice when you are just taking an Uber but not at all when the speakers are right in your window in the second floor. Between the music in my window 24/7 and the occasional homeless person shouting in the street, quality sleep was not an option.

The physical location - close to events for the Salesforce Conference, but the location where the homeless and drug addicts stay - not good! The valet parking is shady so I just prayed that I'd get my car back in its original condition. The room is very small, like NYC small and the room smells like body odor. It's like it had bad carpet but luckily, there was no carpet in the room. Remember SF city streets are disgusting!! The walls are very thin. If you have other choices, like in the financial district, or can spare the money to pay more, do so.

Step-in shower, this was why I chose it. Great & clean bedding, cart to manage luggage & gear, staff nice & helpful. Location near Muni 5 & 38, both going to Golden Gate Park. CVS & Walgreens close by. I have a permanent disability, so accessibility is important, and this place was remodeled & accessible. Front door even had an opener. One just had to be careful about location.

The staff were really helpful. They accommodated to us as we stayed there for a few days. It’s not in the best part of town but as long as you can uber, Lyft or Waymo then it’s fine. Overall it wasn’t so bad.

The hotel is pretty small with smell of fresh pain from the renovation. The area near by is not great, with homeless people surrounding the sides and back of the hotel including the valet drop off section. The noise level at night was pretty high, and I did not enjoy the the too thin pillows on the bed. Overall the hotel felt safe and clean but could be better.

This place is in a horrible area and it’s not safe. It looks okay in the pictures but believe me, once you get there you’ll know what I’m talking about. I got there and after falling asleep, was woken up at 3am by a bunch of drunk and drugged out men screaming and yelling until almost 5am. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.

Great staff. Always there to help. Complementary breakfast was nice. Loved the fruit and yogurts. Would of been nice to have a few more pastry options. There were hotel facilities listed on our booking but not actually available, like the microwave and drinks machine. We saw the space where they should of been next to the ice machine. So don't know what happened there. The hotel was really nice, a little disappointed with the size of the room but the room was nice. The lights are on a dimmer switch but no matter how bright or dim they were always flickering. And out air conditioning unit decided to leak and give us an indoor shower randomly one evening. But other than this no issues at all. Like I said Staff are great, hotel is a good unit to base yourself while visits San Francisco. 10/15min walk away from city centre and location transport links all around. Buses, BART, Muni. All easy to get to from Civic Centre. The neighbourhood that the hotel is located in, is the poorest in SF and there is alot of homeless around, on the same block as the hotel there is a community centre l, which is why the homeless are near by. 90% of them are harmless, leave you to your day. Just walk past and carry on. But there are a few we had odd interactions with. I personally didn't feel comfortable coming back to the hotel after dark. But that's just the Tenderloin Area unfortunately. Not the hotels fault at all. Felt 100% safe and secure in the hotel.
