I have to start by giving kudos to William who works in the reception area who tried his best to give us our l room with an early check-in and the room was exceptional with balcony and great views on the eighth floor. It is a nice building and it’s very centrally located and you have views from the grand Via. The Neighbourhood is amazing who is plethora of bars, nightlife, tapas and walking distance to museums.
The hotel can use an update some enovations, but otherwise the room was very clean and with hardwood flooring, which is a must for me. I hate wall to wall carpet.
The bed was very comfortable. There was a spa on our floor and there was a musty smell. The spa is OK as well as the indoor pool. There is an OK gym. it is not by any means a luxury hotel. Staff is though very, very nice.
I would’ve given to the hotel a higher rating if they had an espresso machine in the morning. They only offer complementary tea in the room, which for coffee drinkers is a negative. They did have instant coffee. For the European standards and espresso machine is a must. Otherwise they’re good stay.

Great hotel. Loved the room with a great view of the Gran Via, the staff and the location. Only issue we had was our room was right next to the elevator and we heard the elevator going up and down at all times. Rarely was there much time the elevator wasn’t making noise. Didn’t complain because they were nice enough to give us the room very early in the day. Other than that loved the hotel and would stay again. I would just request not being near the elevator.

The hotel is very nice but if on the roadside it is very noisy all night with the windows open. There was no a/c so don’t know how hot it would be in the summer. The pool is small and shallow and the sauna is also vey small. Contrary to the information on Hotels there is no 24 hour shuttle to the airport. Instead the hotel will book you a taxi with a quoted cost of €33. We used the Metro from the station outside the hotel for €5 each. The hotel also tried to sell us breakfast with a discounted rate if we booked for everyday on arrival at€20 per person. There are plenty of alternatives locally that are much cheaper.

This hotel is definitely not a 5 star hotel at best a very upscale Motel 8. The view was spectacular and the room was spotless. However, the sewage / mold smell mixed with a broken tv and no face towel left a bit to be desired based on I was truly expecting a 5 star experience.

The buffet breakfast was the highlight for both me and my mom—eggs cooked to order, Spanish chorizo, ham, cheeses, fresh breads and pastries, local delicacies, fresh fruit, and even a honeycomb station. The variety and quality were outstanding every morning.
The location couldn’t be better. We walked to everything—Zara, Mango, great restaurants, Christmas markets, parks, and all the beautiful holiday festivities. Being right on Plaza de España made exploring Madrid effortless.

Breakfast was a bit expensive but were able to have a really late checkout which helped us. Check out was scheduled for noon but we were able to stay until 4pm with options to stay until 6pm.

It’s very clean and hip. Staff can improve however I understand there are stereotypes but it’s not good to make guests feel uncomfortable. Overall though I would recommend staying here for a few days if you can get past that a few will give you dirty looks.

Found the Hotel on Expedia and was beyond Happy .The pictures do not do it justice.It is Beautiful. We arrived and meet Jorge...we upgraded our room to the 9th floor Suite. It is more like your own apartment and the view from the terrace is Amazing!The Spa was wonderful...Valentina,Amalia & Ricardo are great!My daughter and I had the best massage! The morning breakfast buffet is Awesome!So much to choose from and the food is fantastic. Sara the Manager is so wonderful and takes care of you and anything you may need.William at the 2nd floor desk is Great also.Ahmad,Igor and Javier take such good care of you when you arrive and during your stay. This is a super hotel and the breakfast is exceptional. So very clean and great staff attention at all levels.
If I could offer any suggestions for improvement, it would be longer hours for the pool as we would have liked an early or late swim and also one working treadmill for a hotel if this size is probably not quite right.

Amazing staff! Getting the breakfast buffet for our whole stay was worth it! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly, there’s only so many ways to share how personable all the staff were. They always checked in an asked how we were doing and how we were finding everything. The hotel felt like the best place to come home to after long adventurous days. Its location is close enough to everything you’d want to see while also being right on the very beginning of the Gran Via that you could still have a sense of calm being there. Beautiful views as well.
