Really great location near parks, transit and the royal palace. We used it as our hub for trips to other cities. Staff were really nice even though my Spanish is hardly worth attempting. They were also flexible about storage between our two stays. You could certainly use their breakfast buffet every morning, but we found a really nice cafe down the block that was great too.

It was the second time we stayed at this hotel (this time 4 nights). Towels were coming apart unstitched at the ends. Three (3) of them came like that, to our bathroom. Really Hot water would appear all of the sudden while taking a shower and burn us. Worst than that, we depended on internet for work and to make reservations and it was not working every day the staff would say the same since we arrived, \"we're having problems\" which was never solved, while we were there. Very very disappointed. Not to be recommended. Staff very nice.

The hotel has a great central location, it’s walking distance to Gran Via and Principe Pio. The room was perfect for a few nights stay, cosy and welcoming. Breakfast had a variety of choices and we were especially pleased with the timings, as it finished later than other hotels and that’s welcoming when you want to sleep in a bit more.

The main issue with this property is how old everything is. I've stayed a couple times and the rooms are very outdated. Beds are very comfortable.

Had a terrible customer service experience here. Checked in to the room in the morning and already realized the hair dryer is broken. I immediately brought the attention to the front desk and they gave me the spare. Later on that night, my girlfriend was trying to use it after she showered, even the spare one didnt work. I brought it down to the front desk and they said they will bring me another one. 30 minutes passed in the room, there was no response no phone call for any updates. I had to go down to the front desk again to which they told me that theres nothing they can do and i have to wait until the morning. No call, no knock on the door, no apologies while my girlfriend’s hair is still wet. A hotel with 3 stars has worse customer service than a motel that costs less.

Brilliant location for Palace, parks and Plaza España. We arrived into Chamartin train station and it was easy to get to the hotel on Metro Line 10 and a short walk.
The hotel is unassuming on the outside, but once inside we loved the sympathetic renovations, it felt cosy and comfortable especially the bar area which is beautiful.
Our cool and quiet room was perfect, very comfortable bed, twin basins and a bath in the large bathroom, loads of storage and a lovely dressing table with a lift-up lid. Electronic safe was easy to use and the little fridge perfect for keeping drinks cool. Housekeeping was excellent.
The continental breakfast was delicious, particularly the brownies! The dining room was calm and relaxing.
Overall our stay was perfect and we wouldn’t hesitate to return to this hotel.

I loved this hotel. Great property, rooms and location. Friendly staff. They booked taxi for me to the airport at 4 am in the morning. Great location, we did not use public transport at all in Madrid. Everything is 10-20 mins walk. Loved the breakfast, decor and everything about this hotel. I did not see if they have water cooler available. Upon check in we got two water bottles. I would stay there again for sure.

Las almohadas enormes y cuando preguntamos si tenían otra uno de los del mostrador del turno de la noche nos dijo que no pero que nos llevaba una para que viéramos todo grosero. El desayuno es práctico y a buen precio pero no está ni tan surtido ni tan bueno. Solo tienen comida durante la mañana. Los chicos del mostrador son serviciales y atentos. El hotel está debajo de la plaza de España entonces se puede caminar fácilmente y hay estaciones de metro y el bus saliendo. Las chicas de limpieza lindas y atentas. El hotel necesita una gran remodelada solamente

There was a ghastly sewer smell coming uo. We closed all drains and covered them with thick towels and the smell was contained. I don't know if this was because of all the rain recently or a more seriousissue.

My room was on the first floor and faced the main street, it was a bit noisy in the mornings. The traffic noise woke me up early.

This is a very nice hotel lovate in the center of Madrid with wverything ypu need really closed by. The staff was really nice, the rooms were clean and spacious. We didnt use the breakfast buffet, we believed it was pricey, 15 Euros per person, when tou can get a sustainable breakfast for 20 euros for four poeple at any place nearby.

Nothing Special - A glorified Hostal.
We live in Spain for context. The hotel build is nice and the people, but there are some very disappointing things for a hotel that is expensive. The Hotels.Com description says a Bar. There is NO bar. It has been closed for Two years and it now a sad corner with 20 bottles on a wall. The pillows are horrible. Long hard tubes. bring your own Pillow as there are no other types available and reception says that everyone complains and the owners do nothing (very Spanish attitude). There is NO hotel room service. They use a third party company that you call and order like uber eats. We called a few times and no one answered so we gave up. To Sum up, it should be 65 EU a night.!! Better options for the money elsewhere.

We transferred from another hotel as we were looking for a good breakfast option. As we were on honeymoon we were able to be upgraded and enjoyed a room to the top floor. The room was spacious and convenient as we got a great view of the palace and my wife had injured her ankle. The public transport service were super convenient as there are stops in front of the hotel and opposite the road. Would come back again as the location was convenient to the city centre.

Service was excellent, the door staff especially were very friendly and helpful and they deserve the highest praise. Location was excellent and rooms were very comfortable and quiet at night - no disruptions whatsoever.
The rooms were clean, though the bedding had some very minor stains (they’re very inconspicuous) and there was a small cockroach in one of the bathrooms (no other signs of insects though, may just be an unfortunate coincidence and not a sign of any major cleanliness issues). The breakfast was quite good though a bit more variety would be welcome.

Too close to everything, we did not need any taxi. Super well located, and the staff so kind and helpful. Buffet was excellent and they gave us a small breakfast for early flight nd booked a taxi for us. From Madrid Airport it took us around 30' drive and a flat taxi $33.00 rate.
