Hi, everyone was really helpful and just really nice, our flights had been delayed and our connection was cancelled, the youung red haired girl on reception was so nice and got us a glass of prosecco, just what we needed 😊. The breakfast was good but did notice that only some of the hot food was under lamps so some wasn't very warm, the staff were very friendly and helful and the food quality was good, the food in the bar good and reasonably priced, we had a lovely stay and would stay again if we go back to Amsterdam.

Don't bother with a city view corner room if the floor is not high enough, otherwise all you can see is the station and water. That's not a bad thing but just don't expect a view of the city. The room type needs renaming. I was on the 4th floor. The record player was a nice idea but most records in the rack are only sleeves without the actual vinyl. The record player belt was warped and so didn't play consistently. Check in takes too long and overall the stay was underwhelming.

Hotel was nice but pricey. We were very disappointed to find out that the other aspects of the venue all cost extra, like the roof access, and that guests weren’t prioritized for spots or even told we’d need reservations etc., upon check in. Also we were charged for a breakfast even though it was included and have still not received the credit back. Some of the staff was also not very friendly. Location is great for getting on the ferry however, but that was th main draw. The rooms were hot and the windows don’t open so there is no ventilation. Our lights also flicked when turned all the way up. Restaurant downstairs is ok but would recommend eating somewhere else. Also get instructions on getting back into the hotel at night, it wasn’t explained to is that the doors would lock and we’d have to ring a bell at a specific door.

Really nice hotel. Lovely staff, food good, decent night's sleep & excellent shower. Great location if you want access to centraal station.
Beware using the side entrance to the hotel. This is the same entrance to a number of other venues in the building and it can get a bit lary with revellers. Make sure any taxis etc drop you off at the main entrance to the hotel itself.

The Funkiest Hotel in Amsterdam!

Funky and fun music themed Hotel. Easy access between Sir Adam’s and Amsterdam Central via the free ferry. Disco and Elevator Karaoke were fun. Food shops nearby. Great bar atmosphere downstairs. Record player in the room was a bit cool too

Thought it might be out the,way. Literally 6 minutes max and your in Central station but equally away from the madness of busy Amsterdam

Ferry is free and runs 24 hour a day. Crossing is approximately 5 mins and we never waited for ferry.

Hotel views are amazing

Its one af Amsterdams gems.

Nice location with an easy access to the city by the free ferry that runs nonstop. The hotel is uniquely decorated with rock n roll motifs. Lots of black interiors make it sometimes difficult to find things but i wouldn't let that stop me from returning. Ground floor restaurant is decent but if you can make it into the city, you'll find better. Bar has great variety and bartenders know how to make a proper margarita. We will return.

Amazing Stay

Booked into the basic room, but it was amazingly decorated and super clean. The shower was great with lovely smelling products. Staff were super friendly throughout our stay, and even put a little gift in the room.

Incredible property!!! You will be amazed by the service and upon entering you are offered a refreshing drink, I opted for the Coca Cola. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. The butcher which is their restaurant hasn’t missed a beat. I was last there and 2018 and the food was even better than I remember. Located in a quiet neighborhood and has easy access to central Amsterdam by ferry. Thanks again, look forward to coming back.

Loved the property, specially during ADE staying here seemed like the perfect choice. It would of been nice if the hotel did an extra package for ADE attendees - like special parties exclusive to hotel members or something like that how EDC Vegas does. Bathrooms were clean and spacious, the room could use more lighting and it does feel cramped with all the extra stuff in it but its cute, it could use a speaker since the vinyl's were great but not ideal lol. However, the room was a bit hot though ac did not seem to work that good, but i would still give the place a 10/10

Room has no phone charger sockets so you need to dig out your international converter, find the plug etc. Bar downstairs was nice vibe but food wasn't great quality. Two glasses of Pinot Grigio were completely different wines. Too cool for its own good IMO, cool is fine but needs to be comfy as well, but maybe I'm just too old for it

After our flight was cancelled my daughter and I wanted a hotel near Grand Central to make it easy to get back to airport. We had no idea how fun this hotel would be. We had a blast riding the themed elevators, playing ping pong, and enjoying the views. My daughter declared the morning breakfast buffet the best she’s ever had, and dinner at the restaurant was delicious. Highly recommend.

Chill hotel not so chilled out!

Female receptionist from Brazil that checked us in Saturday at 11 am is terrific!!
Comfort…not much, lobby under renovation so we went and sat downstairs restaurant to eat a sandwich we bought elsewhere for breakfast. We were all but yelled at about it, I spent $100 at the restaurant previously.

Need more space!

Just felt the rooms were too small. The bathrooms were right next to the bed. The sink was right next to the bed. There was not enough closet or drawer space either for a couple to properly hang or place their belongings. Otherwise the hotel was really nice.

Great Stay in Great Location

Amazing overall. Simple and easy check in, I arrived early, and was able to start the check in and drop my bags. Very nice and quiet lifts and corridors, and very nice room. Two separate rooms for shower and toilet. Comfortable bedding. However be aware that there is no Air Conditioning, they use a climate control, so won’t go as cold during the summer months. I was also treated to a birthday beer by the hotel staff.
