The check-in was smooth and easy. Location was perfect being at the central station and in the center of Amsterdam. The room was comfortable.
The staff are trying their best to accommodate.
The downside is that they charged for storing your luggage.
Room rate too expensive.

The location is good if you’re using public transport or walking a lot.
Room is just big enough but the clothes closet is
lacking. Good spot to watch trains. There is no electric kettle in the room which is inconvenient.

Really glad that we had the opportunity for an early check in. Staff were very great and helpful. Upon entering the room, at first glance it looked good but upon deeper inspection, the carpet had many stains. The bottom of the shower did not look clean either and ran out of hand soap by the end of our stay. Walls were scuffed and appeared dirty. Shower head would not stay in position and kept turning to the side of the shower. Really disappointing especially since this was not a cheap hotel. Lastly, having to take 2 elevators to reach our room is inconvenient.

The rooms and hotel is clean and updated. Note our bath room was small and no mini-fridge. The staff was friendly and polite. This hotel is a good choice if you just arrived by airplane, direct train connection from Schiphol-Airport. Take the train from the airport (easy) to central Amsterdam station, then 5 minute walk to hotel. Get started exploring Amsterdam Central by foot and canals. Breakfast is standard okay. The bar is okay for a nightcap, not so much of a hangout, however very safe and easy to get to rooms. I would stay again. Note, we were not traveling with you children. I am sure they would be fine, I did not use pools or other activities. Book Anne Frank House 6/8 weeks early for free tickets, also go to the Van Gogh Museum to complete your stay. My spouse and I explored all of Amsterdam Central from here then took Eurostar to Belgium. Note, but your Eurostar tickets early, some departure times may sell out so plan in advance. Save money on Eurostar with more notice, however last minute tickets are not bad. Safe Travels, Cheer!!

The primary plus of this hotel is its location, about 70 meters from the entrance to the Amsterdam Centraal train station. This was important to us, because our days were spent on day trips to Haarlem and The Hague via train. So it was a REALLY convenient location! And despite that central location, including proximity to stations for many of the (quite noisy!) trolleys and the \"Lovers\" canal tours, the rooms are incredibly well insulated from external noise! However, the INTERNAL walls are paper-thin: we could easily hear discussions and coughing in the room adjacent to ours. The bed was very comfortable, but the room around that bed was severely limited.
The staff members were wonderful about facilitating check-in and helping us store our luggage before check-in time and after check-out. They spoke flawless English. We didn't avail ourselves of the restaurant or the breakfast, instead walking across the bridge to have breakfast at one of the many restaurants a short walk away, and there are more in the (quite large) train station, another benefit of the central location.

A very nice place to stay at the train station. In the middle of a very busy area this property offers a way to remove yourself from the business but also be able to walk right into the tourist activities. The staff were great. Room was clean and comfortable. This also made for a very easy trip to the airport early in the morning

Tiny, sad, miserable little room. At almost $400 a night, I expected better. Also, is built over the central train station's train tracks, so I could hear the noise of the trains all night. Very disappointing. Would never stay there again.

The hotel location is few minutes walk to Amsterdam central station and to the old town . We had the chance to see most of the neighborhoods at anytime of the day. We used the triple room and it was efficient for our needs.Staff were helpful. Breakfast excellent with several options.

Disappointed with the stay. Mold in the shower floor, shower door won’t close so you have to use your spare towels to clean the floor. Our heat was not working and we asked to have it looked at nothing was ever done so we froze at night. Location was great otherwise wouldn’t stay again

This location has one key item going for it and it is location. The rooms are small, neither the beds or pillows are very comfortable and there is the odd process of having to utilize two separate elevators for many of the guests if you're room is close toe h IJ (river) side of the hotel.

Stayed in the family room which have 1 big bed and bunk beds.
The room was right next to the train track as in if we opened the blinds, there was a train right next to us with people looking at us.
Also for a few bug bites all over my body and I was staying in the big bed

No phone in the room. no drinking water cattle in the room. No iron board in the room. ( It’s in the hallway each floor). The location is very good and convenient. The customer service is good. But false alarm at 2:00 am made all the guests walking down from their rooms to the ground. We saw few elderly people as well. We never had such bad experience before!

The Ibis is located right by the train station. For anyone arriving by train, this is an excellent choice. The hotel is also centrally located so it's super easy to walk, jump on the tram, or call an uber, taxi, or hop on a bike if you have one.
The hotel lobby is modern and inviting. It's clean and full of activity from the on-site restaurant. It's a nice spot to just hang out at. The rooms are spacious not too small at least the one we stayed in. While it was comfortable my only gripe is the bathroom could use a refresh. It feels more outdated than the actual room itself. Otherwise, it was a comfortable stay.

I used it for one night and it was absolutely fine - the rooms are however a little \"compact\" and I wouldn't personally fancy more than a couple of nights there. Especially if one's neighbours were a little boisterous.....

This has been one of the worse stays at ibis I’ve had over the world.
Firstly, our eurostar train was cancelled due to a fatality so we could not arrive on the first day of our booking, when I called the hotel to let them know and ask if it was possible not to get charged as it was beyond our control, the member on the staff said to me ‘tell me if you are coming at all or not, we are very busy, if you are not coming we can give the room to someone else’. Let alone discussing or responding to my question, being told that they’ll give my room to someone else if out of order and extremely disappointing to start with, this was hence my first impression of this hotel.

On arrival after such a hassle next morning I arrived to find the room in ok state, beds were made but the room didn’t seemed to have been cleaned, bathroom sink wasn’t clean and there were no toilet rolls, had to come down to the reception for the toilet roll, before popping out of the hotel.

Also, the room smells musty and smoky throughout the stay. Not acceptable at all.

Next when we got back in the evening went in to have a shower only to realise there was only 1 bath sheet between two adults.

Staff did not bother to apologise of compensate in anyway when I told them at checkout.

I would like a full explanation about the poor service and attitude of your staff.

Very cozy hotel strategically situated at the heart of the city, right next door to Amsterdam Central Station. Easy to go around: Dam Square, Royal Palace and many famous tourist attractions and/or culinary experience as well as shopping areas. Room is also clean & safe. You can catch public train in Central Station which took 15-20 mins journey to/from the Schiphol Airport. Won't mind rebook the hotel on my next trip to the city. Very highly recommended.
