The Four Seasons Seoul delivers a refined stay that balances understated luxury with meticulous attention to detail.

The rooms are a masterclass in contemporary design. The layout is exceptionally well considered: generous storage, intuitive lighting controls, and purposeful zoning. Sound insulation is excellent, lending a quiet, restorative atmosphere even in the heart of the city.

A particularly valuable amenity is the complimentary house car service for destinations within the vicinity. This offering transforms logistics into comfort, smoothing over short trips especially if the alternative was to leg it in the frigid Seoul winter.

We enjoyed our stay at the Four Seasons Seoul. It is comforting that you can stay a Four Seasons hotel group,hotel and there is a consistency within the properties, level of service and amenties. The staff were very helpful even prior to arrival. The hotel food was delicious. The spa attendants were very lovely and I got a great manicure. The overall feel was warm, welcoming and offered a calm and peaceful atmosphere after a long day. The only issue we had was that we had a late flight out and had no where to settle in after check out. There is an executive suite floor but you have to have specific access. They don't even offer you a option to pay for access. They have another odd rule about paying for single use toothbrushes and toothpaste but they offer all sorts of other free single use products, which inclued hand wipes wrapped in plastic at every meal for every person. I was told the issue was a government mandate for perserving the environment. Which would make sense if they didn't offer those wipes and all sorts of eye masks during turn down service which is also single use. I always travel with toothbrush and toothpaste as I prefer my own but the whole concept seemed contradictory and disingenuous. Having said that,I loved my stay at the hotel. We have stayed often at the Four Seasons hotels and will continue to do so.

Overall another outstanding experience at Four Seasons. The property is stunning. Great location. Flawless service. Room and amenities exquisite design.
Only very minor comment - food portions too big for our preferences. Kind of a turn off. Drop portion size by 25% drop prices by 10%.
But recommend the property without hesitation.

Exceptional service. Seoul is a huge and spread out city, so no matter where you stay you will have to travel to see all the sights, but The Four Seasons is in walking distance and well positioned to see many of the historic/cultural sights (the palaces, insadong, gwangwhamoon) and is easily accessible to rest of seoul by subway which is a mere minutes away or by buses. Everyone from reception to housekeeping staff exemplified professionalism. Space is elegant and meticulously clean. The korea sauna/spa provided a luxurious oasis, and is one of the reasons I would return again and again.

This is the second time I've stayed at the Four Seasons, and each time has been impeccable. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the variety of resturants and service at each was excellent. I appreciated that every restaurant had several vegan options and was happy to accommodate special requests. The location is great, close to the subway and palace, which makes getting around very convenient. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Seoul.

We have never been to hotel with such a high level of service ; every employee that we met no matter where it was whether in the elevator walking outside or just in the lobby, asked if he can help us with anything if we need any special services or just a quick hi. The stuff the executive lounge were also extremely friendly, helpful and pure joy to be around. I really think this hotel is something extraordinary.

Just wrapped up a ten night stay here and it was amazing. This is the first time I’ve left a hotel and not thought, “I can’t wait to sleep in my own bed.” Seriously, it was the best hotel stay of my life. Don’t get me started on the mattress and water pressure.

Highly recommend their restaurants, Boccalino and Maru. The service was consistently outstanding and the food was delicious.

And lastly, a shout-out to the housekeeping staff as well. Our room was extremely clean and well stocked, and the daily gifts during turndown service were something that we always looked forward to.

I 100% got what I paid for and I hope to be able to stay there again one day. 10/10

Disappointed with my first four season visit

Difficult to access location. Facility was a bit outdated. Due to political demonstrations, there were no taxis operating. Near city center where there are numerous events and political demonstrations occurring. Traffic slow and sometimes at a crawl. Community around the hotel was old and rundown.

This is a beautiful hotel! We loved our room it had plenty of space and double sinks in the bathroom, which we really like. It was amazing service… every staff member was extremely friendly, helpful and kind. I especially loved our waitress in the morning at Maru restaurant, she remembered how we like our coffee and was so very nice.

The four seasons brand is a good value, however gone are nearly all the perks; if you book through Expedia. The hotel had availability for a room upgrade but said “that is reserved for guests who book directly and not through a third party”. We as travelers need to unite, the hotel and hospitality chains said during Covid “no turndowns“ so they’re removing more and more services and we are still paying for less services. They simply must be stopped.

Gym for local members and no teen athletes allowed

The service in general was great but there was no information, or even mention at check-in, about age limitation for the gym. I have teenage competitive-athletes from the US. We picked this hotel based on the amazing review on the gym and pool. Most of 5 star hotels (or other Four Seasons) have rules of adult supervision under 16, which we understand. The hotel’s gym says no-one under 16 and they explained that regular local members don’t want the teens (in my case teen athletes). This was so absurd to begin with but the reason was even worse. We stayed for 6 days and dealt with anxiety of not regularly working out in Seoul. We will stay else where next time and high recommend our friend with teen athletes not to stay here.

It's a great location in Seoul. There's a nice river walk just a few blocks away. It's not too far to Myeongdong, but also doesn't have the hustle and bustle of that area, either. The hotel also has a great hidden \"Speakeasy\" bar. You'll have to ask in order to find it. This was our second stay there.

Five Star Hotel:
Communication between Front Desk and Spa Staff members need to be better regarding guest.
Spa needs to be cleaner because I found hair in my shower area and sink upon arrival to my spa treatment. I did not like you had to pay extra to go to the cultural hot springs or hot tubs.
Housekeeping refolded used towels that were put on floor back on the sink area next to clean towels and I don't understand why.

After bringing all these different things to the attention of staff, I felt like nothing was done about anything other than a verbal I’m sorry and a four season teddy bear. I don’t mind spending money for experiences and this being at the Four Seasons was a let down.

I have stayed at different four seasons around the world and this was by far my worst experience.

I and my family are widely travelled - this Hotel surpassed any expectations we had and as usual it is the people that make a difference. Not up to Four Seasons standards. Front desk were not particularly helpful when we needed advice on where we could buy a padlock. Room was not cleaned up to the standard I expected - dusty around the stationary on the desks and table legs/ below desks, around the kettle etc. Gym was not well managed - far too busy at 8am and no control over how many people or how equipment is used and cleaned afterwards. There isn’t that much ground around the property so also can’t rate that highly as such - it looks better in photos.

Amazing customer service and kind staff. Rooms were large and very comfortable. They offered an iPad to choose additional luxuries like a pillow menu, mattress toppers, robes or additional water. Service was top notch. The buffet was beyond impressive. My guest had a gluten allergy and the restaurant manager went out of her way to bring over the chef and walk her around the entire area to show her the safe options for her to have as well offering to make her custom dishes. They were just amazing. We loved our stay.

This hotel is fabulous! Very clean, elegant, exquisite decor. Friendly staff. Excellent location. We received an upgraded room located in a corner, very spacious & wonderful view. The bed was heavenly! Everything here is top notch. You can also book your tour to DMZ through the hotel, great experience (ask for Marshall as your guide). Will be back very soon!

One of the best hotels stays I’ve ever had. I hardly ever write reviews on here but have made hundreds of hotel stays in various countries and never experienced such good service for such a reasonable price. They gave us absolutely anything we needed, we were travelling with our 8 month old baby and they had gifts ready at check in, and any time we had a turndown service new trinkets would appear in the room to suit what we needed. Hotel itself was excellent, views were very nice, free underground parking was provided for the duration of our stay. Minibar and hotel restaurants were very expensive compared to the local area, but that is to be expected to cater to international business travellers. One final detail that made a big difference to us is that the hotel have a babysitting agency they work with, who can provide in-room babysitting so you can enjoy a parent’s night out.

Everything was good except for the concierge service. Before arrival I asked for two restaurant reservations. It took a long time to get a response and in the end, no reservations were made. I had to ask a friend who lives in Seoul to do it for me.

We stayed at the Seoul Four Seasons for 1 week and it went by like a minute From the great room always clean, to the perfect breakfast (milion of choices) and the front desk people that went above and beyond to help and resolve any little issue we might have had, the stay was perfect
We would never go elsewhere (Seoul or any other city in the world) then the Four Seasons

My wife and I and 2 teens just finished a 9 night stay at the 4 Seasons and all I can say is “WOW! The property is a short walk from Gwanghwamun, and a short subway or cab ride to all the major attractions. The room was luxurious, stylish, and clean as well as insulated from all traffic and stray noise. The highlight for us was the staff…they were amazing! So polite, friendly, and thoughtful! It’s almost as if they were able to anticipate our needs before we had to ask! Yerim and Harper made us feel so special! If you are looking to be pampered in style, look no further!
