This was the perfect place to stay during out few days in Seoul! The room was modern and clean, and the daily amenities were wonderful. The breakfast buffet was also a pleasant experience, and they held out luggage after checkout, which was very helpful. Will definitely book again!

The room was immaculate. The beds were so comfortable and the amenities were top-notch. Location was excellent too. You step out the front door and the subway station was right there. They also looked after my luggage after check-out because I had a night flight. Will definitely return here on my next trip.

Didn’t like lighting system by over head. No closet space for long term we had to live by suit case everyday. Terrible for what you charge daily.

The shower room design is so bad. During showering, there is always spilling of water out to the floor of bathroom. You need second door or additional protecting curtain.
I am sure this bad design will make many people so unhappy.

The location of the hotel is good; it's a fairly easy walk to many of the central sites of interest to tourists, and not far from the central business district. The breakfast is varied, though the hours are a bit limited for a late sleeper like me - breakfast closed promptly at 9:30 am on a weekday. I arrived late at the hotel on my first night - well after midnight - yet the staff were wide awake and friendly, which I really appreciated.

The only problem I had was with the electrical power outlets in my room. For some reason, the plugs on my phone chargers fit very loosely, and I had some trouble getting the chargers to stay connected.

Noisy. Both outside and inside. The property is well located near the metro station. The breakfast area was big, the food had variety but the chef forgets the order. Also a bit chaotic with only one elevator working. I won't use here again.

5월 25일 투숙했던 이용객입니다. 전체적으로 신라스테이 브랜드에 기대했던 서비스 수준에 미치지 못해 실망스러웠습니다.

특히 26일 오전 9시경 프런트 데스크에 근무하던 직원과 조식 식당의 여성 직원의 접객 태도는 엉망이었습니다. 귀찮은듯한 불친절한 응대 때문에 아침부터 기분이 많이 상했네요. 서비스 교육이 다시 필요해 보입니다.

반면, 26일 저녁 늦은시간 발렛 주차 서비스를 진행해 주신 직원분은 정말 친절하고 professional 하셔서 큰 위안이 되었습니다. 특정 직원들의 불친절함 때문에 호텔의 전체적인 이미지가 깎이는 것 같아 아쉽습니다. 개선을 바랍니다.

Great place to stay in Seoul, right next to a subway station and it has plenty of food options in the area. The room was very spacious and the bathroom was a great size and the shower was perfect. The breakfast gets real packed in the morning, but a great array of options are delivered.

Everything was fine but we got there 9am the next morning so we only had a few hours to enjoy hotel. Breakfast ended 10a and we wanted to take coffee or some food out to tour and i was told we cannot. Not even coffee so that was onky issue. So paid fpr food and couldn't eat or take anything. Other hotels offer that.

My room was clean and well maintained, comfortable for one person. The location was convenient to get to various trendy neighborhoods due to proximity to the subway and bus stations. I never had to walk more than 2 minutes from the stops.

The front desk folks were also extremely helpful with any questions, particularly Maya who checked me in. I would highly recommend staying here.

Amazing location, it was close to pretty much all transportation, near the bus stop which also includes airport shuttle bus, and also a 300m walk to the closest subway station. There're also lots of food options around the hotel, and at least 4 convenience store located within walking distance. I would love to stay at this place again for my next visit, highly recommend to everyone!!

I arrived early at the hotel around 1:45 PM, but I never requested an early check-in. I was completely fine with returning at the standard check-in time of 3 PM.

However, instead of simply asking me to come back later, the front desk staff asked me to scan a barcode and register through the hotel website. The connection did not work well, and I was left standing there trying repeatedly while feeling very tired.

I want to be clear that I did not ask for early check-in, nor did I need it. I even mentioned that I would go have a coffee and return at 3 PM. Only then was I told I could receive the room key later, and I was also asked to leave a positive review before even checking in.

I have stayed at this hotel location since 2018, and this was the first time I felt that the process was more focused on promoting the hotel rather than considering the guest’s comfort.

While the staff member was polite and smiling, the experience felt unnecessary and uncomfortable from my perspective.

Overall hotel was very good! Location was awesome, staff excellent, bathroom was huge and up to date. Bed was comfortable, but room temp was hard to regulate, electric outlets in room were in poor condition, but the one in the bathroom was excellent, so charging items in bathroom was necessary. No usb or other charging options.

Shilla Hotel was a really great stay. The rooms were clean, and the room service cleaned up at a timely manner. The staff service was exceptional helping me with anyquestions and concerns I had . The amenities were lack luster besides the breakfast. The rooms needed a microwave and the Air conditioning work but when you needed to lower to the temperature to cool of the room it wouldn’t. The breakfast on the under hand was ten out of ten for sure. The diversity in food in the morning was a delight . If I was to rate my stay it would be 3.5 out of 5 stars .

Location was also great with direct subway access and many bus options right outside.

I stayed for the second time in Room 2601, but two reported room faults weren’t rectified from my last stay.

1. Cabinet hinge for the in-room fridge is almost falling apart.
2. Bathroom glass door scrapes the floor tile whenever opening/closing, raising safety risk.

I hope this would be looked into as soon as possible.

Hotel staff Ms Joy was exceptionally great in her service. She was patient and it was really nice of her to provide early check-in when I arrived very early.

There’s a Lotteria nearby and about 2 mins to walk to if you’re feeling hungry and a GS25, if you’re not from Asia or Europe make sure you bring a two prong brick for charging your phone or other devices as it’s only for that. If you don’t, you can easily get one at GS25. Very spacious room and clean, really loved my stay here.

Amazing hotel that is very well situated for the many great sights and sounds of Seoul! Amazing customer service, room delivery, breakfast, and room cleaning.
1. Love the 2 free water bottles stocked in the room everyday.
2. The breakfast is totally worth it. Love all of the options.
3. Several bus stops, ATMs, and convenience stores right near the hotel.
4. Subway line is directly in front of the hotel. Amazing!
5. Myeongdong and Deoksugung Palace are nearby.

Great pricing as well. Would come back here. 10/10!
