We were only there for one night but the staff and the room and the breakfast the next day were excellent. Superior to some Hampton Inns in the United States. I would stay there again in a heartbeat and stay longer use the pool and the fitness room. I’m a very pleased and happy with my stay.

Breakfast was good, but the scrambled eggs looks weird. Dark yellow, Sharp white eggs pieces. It looks came from a box. We skipped it. Bacon was soggy and almost raw, not crispy. So the basic eggs and bacon we wish was better. The yorgut was really liquid.

Needs urgently new mattresses and naintenance.

Terrible bed mattresses in both rooms. One sinks in terribly. Left with bad backache. Shower’s Cold water in second room, 406, did not work at 5am but had to catch a plane so couldn’t ask for alternative shower option… breakfast is good.

The website states there is an airport courtesy shuttle - but that is not true. I tried to call over and over again from the airport to the hotel but no one ever answered the phone. When I shared this with the front desk person at check in, he just shrugged his shoulders and said, 'no we do not have a shuttle'. Being exhausted and jet legged it was frustrating that it took over 2 hours to get food in the restaurant - service was terrible, the food medicore. I have stayed at this hotel prior and it had much better service. Not sure if something has changed or if the poor service was due to it being winter instead of summer.

The hotel was conveniently located, clean, quiet and with on-site parking. The staff was very friendly. Be aware, there aren't any self-service laundry facilities at the hotel, or in Uruguay for that matter, so plan on bringing enough clothes for your entire stay as the cost for the hotel to launder your clothes is astronomical.

My husband and I stay at the Hampton by Hilton Montevideo Carrasco every time we visit Uruguay, and it never disappoints! We absolutely love the property's condition and facilities—everything feels modern and well-maintained. The area around the hotel is also quite nice, providing a good balance of convenience and tranquility.

However, we were a bit disappointed with the cleanliness issues during our last two stays, which was a bit disappointing since it’s not what we’ve come to expect from this hotel. We’re hoping this was just a temporary setback and that things will be back to their usual high standards on our next visit.

Overall, we still highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, excellent facilities, and the warm hospitality of the staff. Looking forward to our next visit! 💖

Hotel very handy for airport however traffic noise from dual carriageway means you may not sleep.

Hotel restaurant worst experience of my life. One girl serving waiting over 20 minutes just to get a drink never mind order food.

Restaurant too small for hotel. Get down early or you will have big queue for seat for breakfast which is very good.
Howver buffet area poor layout and congested.

Convenient to the airport without being convenient

Chose this hotel since it was close proximity to the airport, but no airport shuttle. Also, the elevators were ridiculous, sometimes it took 5 minutes for the hotel to stop on your floor.

Nice stay for a flight

My wife and I stayed at the Hampton (double room king bed - lake view) for one night in October 2024. We stayed at the airport as we had an earlyish flight the next day. The check-in was a breeze, and the room was perfect for our stay. Large, well-appointed, very modern, quiet and clean, with a great view of the lake. The hotel is just five minutes from the airport and has free parking. They don’t have airport shuttle service, but Taxis and Ubers are readily available. All in all, a perfect place to stay if we are flying into, or out of Montevideo airport.
