Only 20min from international airport so that was the draw. Not even a 7 eleven within walking distance. Area very industrial and sketchy . Only come here to sleep and leave . Left too early for breakfast but don’t think we missed much. Staff were lovely and accommodating .

Negative experience as a guest in One La Raza, even this is a budget hotel it is backed by Fiesta, so there were expectations about a clean and comfortable room. Service was horrible with other guests in my presence because the front desk does not speak English. The guard at the parking was not allowing to park my car because “it was full”, but parking had a lot of free space. The room was dirty, it looks like bed linen was not washed and changed after every customer, I found hairs in the bed and it was itchy. All the hallways and the rooms smell really bad.

The parking lot it’s too narrow and a bit tricky to park a large car, however the parking staff is helpful but that is a low point. The bathroom has sewer odor at times due to poor ventilation, should be checked by maintenance. If you don’t mind that, then it a good option.

The staff was great. However the building smells like humidity. My original room had flooded. The carpet around the building had huge water stains. It was really hard to sleep and relax with humidity/mold smells around the entire building.

We reserved three nights at this property. We stayed one night and moved to another hotel. I would have moved sooner, but it was late. The rooms are very small and the hotel is remote. They advertise a restaurant on the property, but it is only open to serve a delivered breakfast. Nothing after. When I asked about it, I was given a hotel driver to take me to the local mall to get food. He told me his name - Francisco - and said to call for a return ride to the hotel. At 2 pm, I called for a return ride and was hung up on three times because they do not speak English. We had to find our own way back to the hotel. I reserved a queen-sized bed and was given a full - which was difficult for myself and my husband. When I tried to talk to the staff, none spoke English or even tried. The staff was rude and unfriendly and the hotel is extremely limited in facilities. Expedia staff had to call and talk to them for me because they refused or could not speak English. When I did get my reservation changed, I went the next morning to check out and get a refund on my card, the staff laughed and insulted us in Spanish (Google Translate is amazing). This hotel and staff are everything a traveler does not want in a place to stay. It was unsafe, unfriendly, and unequipped to greet guests.

I have experience installing all sorts of cameras. I noticed they have motioned sensor cameras in the rooms. Small pin hole cameras. I know because I’ve installed them in businesses before. It’s connected to a video line.

Everyone was very friendly and some went above and beyond. Fernanda I believe her name was, front desk agent, and an older gentleman who was referred to as the doorman, “portero,” were exceptional. I believe both had an excellent rapport with everyone staying at this hotel and I am sure to return because of their service. The hotel itself was located in a good area, close to the Metrobús and the bus station, and some other stores that were of interest, including the famous Bremen chocolate factory which is about 2 minutes walking distance from the hotel. The shuttle service can be improved, but with so many other options in transportation at a very reasonable price, it was not a problem at all. Free wifi and air conditioned rooms with daily room service. Also, the menu they have for delivery is amazing. I paid 150 pesos for a fabulous dinner that they are able to order for you and gets delivered. I am certainly going to be staying there next time I’m in Mexico City.

I do not recommend this hotel at all. They cancel my reservation because I did not check in before 6:00pm on their page it specifically says check in 3:00-midnight. They were not helpful at all and did not have any rooms available. They did the same thing to about 4-5 more families that got there while I was waiting for my issue to get resolved. When the Expedia representative called to investigate, he was told no one speaks English there. I also noticed that the lobby was dirty and old, nothing like the pictures posted. I am so glad we didn’t stayed there. Thanks Expedia for relocating my family to a nicer hotel with a better and safer location.

We really like this chain hotel ever since we lived in ONE Playa Del Carmen during our Cancun trip last year. So when we planned Mexico City and surrounding area this year, we all booked ONE hotels wherever we can find one. It never disappoints. For seven consecutive days, we stayed three nights in Mexico City, one night in Queretaro, one night in Silao, one night in Guadalajara, and two nights in Puerto Vallarta. We like them all. Delicious free breakfast. Very comfortable and clean, with very reasonable price.
Parking in convenient, but garage door is a bit small so it is hard to get in and out.

Despite the fact that it's farther from the hip neighborhoods of CDMX, it was still very easy to get to. It's situated in a quiet neighborhood and away from the noise of the traffic. The rooms were well ventilated and clean. The bed was comfortable and made me sleep very well. I especially like the bathrooms and the water pressure of the rainshower was very good. Unlike the other places I've been to.
The staff were nice and friendly. I am not fluent in Spanish but I tried to communicate as much as I can (because I want to practice) and they managed to communicate with me in English when I was having difficulty conveying my point. I checked in and checked out without any problems.
Also, with the budget I have, this accommodation also included breakfast. That made me a satisfied traveler.
The one thing I could criticize is the roughness of the terrycloth towels. It's like drying myself off with sand paper. But all in all, I would go back and stay there.

One CDMEX La Raza hotel is very well positioned when traveling to the airport, downtown, north bus station or chapultepec using the circuito interior, Av. Insurgentes and Eje Lazaro Cardenas. The area surrounding the hotel is not very nice but I felt safe, the facility is new and clean and the stuff at the front desk is very polite.I will recommend it to a friend.

Didn’t hold my reservation
Really bad experience, I booked a room and when I got there about 8:30 PM they said that they don’t have rooms left, five minutes after me an other family arrive and having the same problem, so the hotel offer us to find a hotel close to the area for us, give us transportation and respect the same rate for one night and we can back there the next day, well after one hour waiting at the lobby they only find a transportation for us to an other hotel but three times expenses that the price we booked so they do nothing for us, in the mean time I was looking for accommodation online but due the season all affordable and safe hotels was sold out (rooms with two beds, because I was traveling with my nephew) so we didn’t have more option at 10:00 PM that go and pay three times more on the other hotel, also the other family did the same. REALLY BAD THAT THEY DOBT RESPECT YOUR RESERVATION and no calls or notifications, what a bad business management. (We will stay the rest of our trip on the second hotel, even if is more expensed I won’t go back to Hotel One)

There was a motion defector in the room so when there was no movement for a certain amount of time the ac turned off and a little green light came on above the door. This was super irritating at night as it would get stuffy due to the ac turning down/off because we were still.

This was my second stay at the property. I returned because it was clean, the rooms were comfortable, and the staff was friendly. However, on this second stay, I accidentally left my very expensive electric toothbrush in the room as I was rushing for my early departure. I called the next day, and was told to call back the following day. I called the following day, gave all of the details again, and was again told to call the following day. This went on for over three weeks, with about two dozen calls. Finally I am giving up. I no longer trust the staff to be responsive to my needs or to protect my property. There is no reason why the item wouldn't be able to be returned to me, and I am just getting the runaround and not being helped.
