Had a fantastic stay at the Mulia. The service was warm, professional and efficient. The staff really goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and taken care of.

Junior suite was spacious, spotless and comfortable. The executive lounge on the 38th floor was beautiful with expansive views of the city.

Overall, great experience and I highly recommend!

This is a beautiful 5 star hotel which exudes older-style glamour and luxury. Reminds me of famous hotels in Hong Kong and Singapore. I will be back next time I need to be in Jakarta!

Love the hotel and will come back. I was introduced to the Mulia brand before this and truly enjoyed my stay. My only feedback is breakfast window that is required, not very convenient for us. We are visiting for a vacation and want to be able to just relax. It wasn’t very relaxing with breakfast. Overall the service was outstanding and staff were very friendly and accommodating.

I am sure the Mulia was once a very nice hotel, but it is now showing its age. However, the pool, gym, tennis courts, sauna, and spa are still top-notch. The breakfast buffet is above average, and the food from the restaurants, both local and Western, is much better than expected. There is no better place to stay if you are attending a game at the Indonesia Sports Complex, but I otherwise wouldn't go out of my way to stay here as there are better hotels priced less than this with preferable locations.

Hotel staff are friendly but their English is limited. Difficult at times with questions or queries.

There is a large number of waiting staff for the number of guests at one time. Too much attention on the guest sometimes, it feels like you are being watched. Every few minutes someone is coming over to the table.

This time Mulia Senayan doesn’t seems to be what it used to be earlier.
Small Small things makes a difference.
There was no iron, no bathrobe, no slippers in the room.
Minibar was empty, don’t know why charged the credit card.
We ordered for a coffee and asked for some cake or cup cake kind of snacks. The only thing available at 5 pm was cheese cake. That too was frozen and as hard as rock. Never expected that in Mulia.
The rooms are same as before no renovation done.
And who keeps a giant artificial tree inside a hotel room these days 😊
We had a room credit of 120,000 which we were told will be applicable to all food and drinks just excluding alcoholic drinks. However we never got that on Coffee and Cheesecake ordered at room.
Anyhow we stayed only for a night so it was ok.

Very spacious building, has all the necessities needed and close to a mall. Although the breakfast food was okay, the cafe downstairs is open 24 hours. If they offer drinks ask for the drink menu for price, we checked in late after arriving late and was starving. Ordered food and orange juice and was charge 130 rupiah for 1 oj and there was 2 of us. Charged 260k for 2 OJ is equivalent to around $27 aud, you can imagine our shock but didnt realise how bad it was until the next day after we had rested from full day of flights.

Just simply brilliant - one of the best hotels in the world - the restaurants are fantastic and the Edogen is a MUST for Japanese cuisine. If Thai food is more your style then Orient 8 is unbelievable. The executive lounge and staff is a great addition to the stay as well

A very expensive pair of slippers

I became violently ill from food poisoning after eating in the evening buffet in the cafe. The hotel staff was helpful and attentive. I did not mention what I thought was the cause of the illness, I suppose I should have. Unfortunately, this staycation ended up being a comfy bed and an expensive pair of slippers.

Hotel room is older and bathroom amenity quality is low compared to international chains. I'm actually most disappointed at the service. Registration staff seemed to be very slow and inexperienced, leading to long wait time, double charges, unclear instructions. Will not stay here again.

We chose the venue to celebrate our wedding anniversary and my wife's birthday and could not have made a better choice. We will certainly be returning. A wonderful venue run by wonderful people. A Jakarta oasis

I am a regular at the Mulia. I travel extensively and this is one of my favorite hotels in the world. It ticks so many boxes for quality, service and facilities. If they only had a proper espresso coffee then it would be perfect but that is the coffee snob in me.. Rooms are large and plush, restaurant choice and quality superb. If you want an Oasis to shut yourself away from the traffic jungle that is Jakarta then the Mulia is perfect.

The hotel staff were exceptionally great. Room was spacious and comfortable. breakfast was about average mostly oriental food since majority of guests are from east Asia. Japanese restaurant was amazingly wonderful in service and food. pool area and cafe was fine but with very slow service. Spa and massage is one of the best I've experienced in a long time.

Fantastic service from very friendly staff. The room are clean and very comfortable.
The location is good but traffic outside the hotel can be horrendous but probably not much different to the rest of Jakarta. I found walking or Grab Bike the quickest way to get around.
Wifi in the room was patchy at times and also in the public areas of the hotel.
The spa was excellent and professionally run.
The pool is clean but perhaps looking a little dated. The pool toilets were not signed and took a little investigative work to find them.
The Cafe restaurant serves good quality food and yet again the service staff were so helpful. I arrived at breakfast closing time and, without asking, the waiting staff all helped gather plates of food onto my table before they were cleared from the buffet. Very thoughtful.
I will certainly be coming back.

Buiness Cenre service chargens are high ,( For a CONFERENC CALL Being a guest they charges 1,80,000 Plus TAX per hour, ( I have not seen it in Any ther hotels aceoss INDONESIA.)
Lunday service but also high. But it is ok.

Hotel is near the National Stadium of Jakarta

Unfortunately our health did not allow us to enjoy the hotel to it's fullest since we spent most of the short time we had in the room nursing colds. The staff was extraordinarily accommodating to us, specially to our baby daughter.

Nothing to fault!

Mulia made my first time to Jakarta a memorable experience and I would not hesitate to recommend Mulia to anyone to stay at when in Jakarta. We felt safe and secure during our stay here and Concierge was fantastic in arranging my transportation prior to my arrival. Have heard many stories about being careful when arriving at airport so we were skeptica about arriving And whether or not we would be bombarded with taxis wanting to take us to the next destination. We were worried as none of us spoke Bahasa, but as I heard my name being called out and saw the Mulia hotel staff directly in front of me when we exited was a relief for us. From then on we had exceptional service from everyone at Mulia and we would love to return soon. A huge thank you to everyone at Mulia. And they remembered my name. Couldn’t get better service!!

Going the extra mile

It was a very memorable stay at Mulia! I need to check out early in the morning at 4am and could not enjoy their buffet breakfast. The front desk staff was very kind to offer breakfast box for me to bring to the airport! And it was my birthday when I checked out. They surprised me with a hand-written card and a box of chocolate! That was so nice and sweet of them!

Choose Another Hotel if You have a Choice

The front reception service was poor; it took 30 minutes to check-in; reception could not give same category rooms even if I showed proof that I paid same amount for two separate rooms; the hotel has 1000 rooms and I am guessing they were 60% full and they could not just please the customer by giving a king-sized room instead of double single beds; the staff are not experienced enough; Concierge told us it was going to cost 150,000 rupiah to go to an office using the taxi and that the ride would take 30 minutes; the Silverbird taxi got us there in 10 minutes and we were charged 46,000 rupiah;

Later they found my booking but it is quite ackward to see this high star hotel cannot find such booking. Plus single person booked the hotel but how come arrange twin beds?

A great hotel in South Jakarta

The Mulia is a true 5 star Indonesian brand hotel in South Jakarta with an excellent selection of restaurants, very nice rooms and first class service. I always stay here when visiting Jakarta, but all of the above of course comes at a price.

The level of the rooms has seriously degraded recently. It used to be much better, now the rooms are worse and the prices have gone up. I won't come back to this hotel - there are much better hotels around town.

The service at the hotel really is first class as it the Chinese restaurant, which is probably the does best Chinese buffet I've had anywhere. The spa is very good and reasonably priced compared to many 5 star hotels and the pool is very nice. My only complaint is that they will not give you a late check out after 12:00 regardless of how long or often you've stayed there etc. After spending over US$2,000 at the hotel I thought that a request for a 2 hour extension was quite reasonable, but they weren't interested. Saying that this is still one of the best hotels in Jakarta and something of an institution. I will be staying there again.
