Everything was so beautiful. All the people are so friendly and knowledgeable. Best hotel experience ever. The room was so comfortable and big enough for 4 people to be comfortable. Beds were so cozy. I will be back. The only thing for me was I didn't win any money in the casino but my last visit I did. You can't win every time. I highly recommend the Chumash Casino Hotel. You won't regret it.

The room was clean, modern and tasteful. The bed was very comfortable and there were enough pillows, towels and hair and body products, which smelled great as well. The front desk and cleaning staff were personable. The price was within my budget which was great and the room had a great view. The pool was fantastic. The only thing, which is not a complaint was that I was here around three years ago and the price of the poolside drinks went up substantially. Overall I recommend this hotel.

Upon check-in, it seemed great until we got to our room and the room they brought us to smelt like cigarette smoke. We were traveling with young children, so they moved us to a different room and the bedsheets smelt like mildew.. We booked through Expedia which everything was taken care of, thank you so much for that.

Had dinner at Willows Restaurant Monday night with reservations made on Sunday for 6:00. Waited 15 minutes to be seated. When seated noticed the restaurant was nearly half empty. We heard receptionist tell a number of people they were fully booked until 10:00 pm. We left after our dinner at 7:45 and restaurant was still no more than 1/2 full at best. Hard to understand since we had friends that wanted to join us but could not get in. Seems like a lot of lost revenue???

The only downside to my stay was that the pool is not open to everyone; when traveling as a family with children, this really falls short of what one would expect from a resort of this caliber. Furthermore, entertainment options for minors within the resort are virtually non-existent—unlike at comparable resorts in Las Vegas, for instance. It is definitely necessary for them to make this clear before reservations are made, so that guests could consider other available options in the area.

Main pool advertised as heated, however, the pool temp was lowered to the point that it was too cold for guests to use. The same situation occurred in the Spa mineral pool & could not be used by guests. We were guests at Chumash for 7 days & could not be used by guests. We, my wife & I requested from management some compensation but the hotel said because we used Experian as a third party the hotel refused to give us any compensation. Since I complained from the very first day 6/8 & stayed until 6/15 & had no use of the pool or mineral pool nor did most other guests which I pointed out to various management personnel with no acknowledgement or results. I am very disappointed with the complaints being ignored by Chumash & hopefully Experian will correct & address this situation.

I didn’t like that I couldn’t access my car because the valet had to get it just so I could get something out of it quickly. What could have taken me 5 minutes ended up taking me over 20 minutes because I had to wait for them to get it. Restaurant was a great theme with lots of options but the food was not good - out nachos were soupy and soggy and we told the restaurant manager but he basically just shrugged it off - he is definitely the weak link in the operation. 1 star for the restaurant food and service. The room was great though!! Front desk staff were also great!!

My daughter and I stayed at the resort for a local horse show. She is 16 so not a small child. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. All the staff were incredibly friendly. Self parking was very convenient as well!

I do not gamble so I can't speak to that part of the resort. We did go on the casino floor as all dining options are there. Security was clear that my daughter must stay with me and could not step on the actual gaming floor (near slots, etc). There is a great cafe open 24 hours which serves Starbucks coffee. You can not use your app though so be aware. The Sports Bar was excellent as there were multiple options (Burger/Pub food, Tacos/Mexican, Noodles/Ramen, and sushi. You can order at the kiosk and get your food to go or dine in.

Overall our stay was very comfortable, having a minor child wasn't a big issue, and the location was excellent (in Santa Ynez but very close to Solvang). Side note: besides the casino, minors (under 21 actually) can not visit the pool.

The property is maintained meticulously; the staff are generally friendly and highly professional (except the young man at registration, curly hair, glasses, he was not friendly at all.) The pool bar staff were the best, amazing customer service. The service at the Sports Bar was also A+, friendly waiters and waitresses, all around a great experience at the Sports Bar. If it wasn’t for the young man at registration, I’d give my overall stay a 10/10. Anyhow, I rate my stay a 9.5/10 Can’t wait to be back at Chumash Casino.

Great hotel for relaxing. The pool area is incredible as well, peaceful and soothing with nice views and plenty of places to hang out. Love the restaurants, too—they have options for everyone! (My husband and I are vegan and were able to eat very well with delicious food at the Sports Bar and the Willows Steakhouse!) The casino is fun and bustling. The hotel is very convenient to visit the charming areas of Solvang and Los Olivos, go wine tasting, or stop by the Santa Ines Mission. We’ve stayed here twice now and had a wonderful experience both times.
