The lady had the front desk super helpful. I randomly ended up in Solvang for a night. She helped to point me in the right direction with great information about the surrounding areas. She went out of her way to take a picture of me because I was on a solo motorcycle ride.

The property was decent, pretty clean, but a bit run down and fairly old looking. You could tell rooms have been partially updated but there were definite signs of its age.
Pros: Nice staff. The bed was VERY comfy & the sheets were nice and soft. Water pressure was good. It was pretty quiet.
Cons: Aging property. Hotel room floor seemed a little dirty. I was hesitant to walk around barefoot.
Overall, it’s a good budget friendly option and I’d stay here again.

The staff was not available when we checked out. The room was clean but had old fashioned tub, had the old round toilet. The room was clean but had very stained chairs two out of four. The place needed some remodeling. The place was nice and quiet. Parking was very convenient and free.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Clean and spacious room. Parking was not a problem even on a weekend. Danish from Olsen’s Bakery was very tasty. The coffee machine probably needs to be changed. Location is on the edge of Solvang’s main drag, but I didn’t mind the walk to the center of town; Solvang is very small anyway

It's a nice clean hotel. It could use some maintenance. Repaving the asphalt. Painting of the trim etc. I noticed a dangerous condition that I mentioned to the person at the desk.
The shower curtain does not fully extend down past the tube rim which causes water to spill onto the floor while showering. The bottom of the tub has no grip pad down and is very slippery when standing in the tub which could cause a person to slip and fall. Otherwise, I would recommend this hotel.

Staff was nice, the property and rooms were clean and as described on the online page. One thing we did notice is that the pool and hot tub looked a bit dirty, although we didn’t get to use them because it was fresh when we were there. It would probably be a good idea to keep it a bit more well maintained.

We had a quick overnighter and this was a lovely accommodation. We didn’t have a chance to really explore the property, but the end was comfy, the room spacious, and the check in and out easy and hassle free. Would stay here again!

The room had a strange odor. Ceiling fan wouldn’t turn on. Towels were very poor quality. They were so rough they’d probably take the paint off a car! They were threadbare with holes. Breakfast danishes were not fresh. Would not recommend.

There was a clean room which I am happy for when I’m away from home. The staff is only available while you check in you do not get to see anybody on your way out so follow all directions given for a successful checkout. I did not appreciate that the pool was not in service while I was there and the Jacuzzi didn’t really heat up too much. Other than this, it’s atleast in the area of Solvang and is comfortable.

Both the pool and Hot Tub were out of order both days we were there. There was a night flood light strobing on and off directly outside of out patio. No one was in the office that could help. There were vagrants in the parking lot offering to sell my kids drugs. Not a place I will stay again nor recommend to others.

It’s easy to get to and in a good location, the bed for comfortable but that’s it. The floor was filthy and there was a weird stain on the bathroom floor. Upon leaving I was looking to make sure we had grabbed everything and saw behind the TV and it was covered in mold! Absolutely disgusting!!!

Kronborg was a huge surprise. When I travel, I usually stay at Hiltons and Marriotts. Kronborg is not a five star hotel, so don't go expecting that. But the location is fantastic and the rooms are clean and well appointed. There's a fridge and Jacuzzi tub in most rooms, which is really nice. The main hot tub was around 102, which is plenty hot. There's also plenty of parking. We arrived late and checked out at 10am the next morning. We never saw a staff member other than housekeeping, but was really no issue. It's a very reasonably priced hotel, the walls are well-insulated for sound, showers have adjustable shower heads with good pressure, and the rooms are comfortable and fairly modern. I would have no problem staying again.

Our stay was not good. We arrived around 10 pm. There's nobody at the front desk, which is fine. However, our room had a strong smell to cigarettes and marihuana, since there's nobody at the front desk, we couldn't even ask for another room.
Very poor experience, I don't recommend this place.

Except for a loud and roundly group sitting by the pool, drinking and yelling all night during our first night, all was adequate, staff courteous and doing a good job, nobody chased away the obnoxious party though.

A little disappointed they expected you to enjoy your wine in a plastic cup - bummer. I will call ahead next time and only choose hotels in wine country that have actual wine glasses. So disappointed with this place, we got there and not another person was staying one other car only on Friday night that should’ve been a red flag for me. Then the electricity went out in the bathroom so we had no electrical outlets to plug anything in. You could not use a slider door they were locked. The jet tub was full of mold. That was disappointing because I was looking forward to taking a nice bath so on a scale of one to five I have to say one there needs to be improvement unless the hotel is planning on closing, but I paid a lot of money to stay there for something at motel six would’ve been cleaner and better to stay at.

The sheets appeared unclean, with visible hair and small spots, likely not changed after the previous guest. Apart from that, the accommodation offered decent value for the price. Breakfast included very tasty pastries, though quantities are limited and some guests take more than their share. Recommendation: arrive early (around 7:30 am) to enjoy them before they run out.

The stay was a good one at the Kronberg. The bedding and bathroom were nice. There is a little balcony. On the weekends, they have fresh pastries. It isn't fancy but it was comfortable.

The pool area is not kept up..the same bandaid was in the jacuzzi area for all 3 days we were there as well as the same dirty pool towels were never taken or replaced. I wouldnt get in their pool because on the steps into the pool there was green algae growing. This place has so much potential, but sadly little effort.

It was really expensive for what I got. There’s no Netflix or Hulu just regular cable. My Jacuzzi filled up with sand the next day. I’m not sure how. There were also toenail clippings left by the window frame, which is pretty disgusting. I don’t think the cleaning people cleaned it properly. Other than that, everything else was clean. I could tell the laundry was freshly washed. The bed was also very comfortable.
