We enjoyed our stay and would recommend everyone to book a room!! Perfect location and a great little town to visit! We did the free trolly to learn more about Solvang, went to a great play in town, shopped, and had dinner. Stopped by Paula’s Pancake cafe on the way out of town and had a great breakfast! Hope to go back to Solvang!

We absolutely adored this sweet little inn! It was a 2 story place with 1 King, 1 Queen and a sofa bed. 2 bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. It was an easy walk to the whole little town. We wished we could've stayed longer. We will definitely be staying again.

Great stay for a quick Solvang trip. Close enough to town center to walk, but not close enough to have the noise/crowds. Clean room but lots of broken items including a lamp with a cut cord. Noise insulation was not great and the AC was a monster to figure out. The private patio would be much better enjoyed with dimmer patio lights/ability to shut them off. Overall would stay again, especially during the colder months.

The bed was comfortable and everything was within walking distance. This room has a small table and chairs outside before entering just which it had a balcony. Definitely recommend this place.

I loved the decor. Cute and neat. I liked how they had makeup remover packets. But the towel that had them tucked in had someone’s hair in it. Not mine. I was the first to shower and notice little hairs on the restroom floor and the shower. Again not mine. The heater didn’t work and when I texted about this no one responded. I paid for a late check out at 1pm went about our day came back before 1 and the room code was changed. Although I did like the idea of self check in and out I did not like that I paid for the late check out and my door code was was changed. I hate that we were cold at night and the hairs belonging to someone else showed no deep cleaning. I loved the little patio and fire place and how close the the inn was to the main parts of Solvang. Would I stay here again, I would love to but it’s those little things that I felt neglected our ability to fully appreciate our experience. Also on our last night the upstairs guest stomped around till 2am, the rooms are small so I had no idea what they were doing going back and forth all night from one side of the room to the other. Non stop.

The hotel is a bit of a walk from the main street down Solvang's center, but that was actually kind of nice (and who doesn't need to walk a bit eating all the Solvang goodies). I recommend parking on the street because the alleyways into the back are very narrow and a bit dicey. There's plenty of parking on the street and in our case it was right outside our little patio, so it was perfect. The AC worked great, once I figured out how to use the remote and where the unit was located. (I think I needed to point the remote at it and they were not really near each other.) The bed was comfy, plenty of clean towels. I liked the door code locking system. The portal was great for checkout, and even the texting service (AI, I think) was helpful. We would (and likely will) definitely stay here again. And again, I cannot say enough about Tammy's customer service.

The check in and check out process was so easy. Although many of the rooms were recently updated, there were several areas of the room that were missing paint, the white chairs were stained and it seems like some of the exposed drywall was just painted over without repair. Housekeeping was also knocking on our door quite early in the morning which if you plan to be in bed at 8am is a rude awakening. Outside of that, I love the location, it is away from the busy crowds.

This place looks cute outside and inside. Standard amenities minus the over soft mattress. The cleaning solution was quite strong when we entered. It was humid so we needed to use A/C in December. The check-in code was supposed to be available at 3p check-in, but wasn’t updated on my account. Fortunately someone showed up to the front office to assist with getting a code. It’s a nice walk into town, not far.

Aside from the power going out for 5 or 6 hours, and it raining 24/7 during our stay, the stay at the New Haven was great, but booking the room was not so great. When I booked, the listing on Expedia said 'reserve now, pay later', exact words. Then, when you get to the pay page to input credit cards, it again says, 'reserve now, pay later. We only need your payment details to secure your reservation. You'll pay for your room at the property.' This is misleading, as I was charged for the room the very next day after booking it. I never had to confirm any payment information when I arrived at the New Haven.
