The staff were extremely helpful and kind. We received especially great service from our server at the restaurant. The drinks were good and the pool and eating space was kid friendly. Our only complaints were regarding the room. Our tv remote didn’t work well, so it was annoying to navigate the tv. We told the front desk, but no one ever came to replace it. Most importantly, my 6 year old son found a vibrator under the bed! Like many hotel beds, most of the space under the bed is blocked off with a barrier, so it’s not like he was crawling under the bed. We immediately threw it away and washed our hands. He found it before falling asleep, so we left it in the trash and reported it in the morning during check out. Overall the experience was a good one with the exception of the room.

The room was clean. My only comment is when we left and returned at the end the day, we noticed bed and bathroom were not tidied up. trash were taken as I called the front desk to collect the trash and requested the coffee cups before we left the room.
We usually experience good housekeeping at other Marriott hotels but at this location, our expectations were not met.

Bar/restaurant staff was friendly. The front desk staff can be nicer. I booked the hotel through hotels.com and there was a disdain from the front desk staff since I booked the hotel from hotels.com. The ac stopped working and the room was quite hot. I complained to them and had to relocate to another room at 2:00 AM. The inconvenience was disregarded by the front desk staff.

Parked my car far away from hotel entry because no parking and they charge for WiFi which should be free!!

When we got to our room after checking in, the bathroom had been recently used with water around the sink, the hand towel bunched up on the counter and some debris in the toilet. The rest of the room appeared untouched. I went to the front desk and explained the situation. The front desk clerk offered to send housekeeping to \"freshen up the bathroom\". I requested a new room. This change was made somewhat reluctantly. There was no apology.

Unkept in many areas. My balcony has debris, my balcony has sandbags , from the looks of it, they are years old sandbags which have exploded, my room is outdated, possibly early 2000’s, main drive unkept, spiderwebs everywhere if you look carefully, blotchy exterior paint, your room is guaranteed to show years of wear and tear. Value : $79.00 per room.

The stay did not meet expectations. The room felt dated and not well maintained, and overall cleanliness was below standard. Staff interactions were minimal and not particularly helpful. For the price charged, the experience did not feel like Marriott quality.

Towels and blankets had stains on them. When we asked for our room to be cleaned, they put the dirty blanket (which was on the floor) back onto our bed. There was loud noises outside our door at all hours of the night and morning.

Booked this hotel thinking would be great experience since Marriott hotels have aways been great hotels to stay in based on our past experience wirh them. Unfortunately it was disappointing. Upon arrival fron desk lady was not welcoming. The tv in our room was not working on Friday. They were suppose to get it fix on Saturday and we check out on Sunday and t. V never worked. Same lady check us in same lady check us out and she said she was aware of issues with 3rd floor T. V's not working seem she did not even care or wanted to hear about it. This Marriott hotel is very different from all the other Marriott hotels we have stayed in.

We checked into our room and noticed that it was warm and muggy in the room. We were attending a dinner party and had to leave by 5:30pm. I called the front desk to let them know, the said they would send someone to take a look. We got back to the room at 10:30pm and had to move to another room.

Solid place to stay in Los Olivos wine country

Nice location, clean, great staff, comfortable rooms. Decent bar/Starbucks. Fire pits in the back are fantastic to chill after a day of wine tasting.

Overall, it was great. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and although the room wasn’t very big, it was comfortable and satisfactory. Breakfast was quiet, and the staff service was excellent. I would be happy to stay here again in the future.

Solo trip

Solo overnight trip. Spent the day at Mission Santa Ines and Solvang. After a full day, checked into my room. Hospitality was awesome! The employees at the check in desk were super friendly and helpful where to dine and anything else I needed to let them know. The room was really nice! Clean and the bed was super comfortable! Sunday breakfast was pretty good. A vast variety of food to eat and the staff was friendly. Great reflection of your organization. There is a nice pool area, towels are provided and there is a racquetball room as well. Real friendly atmosphere and family oriented. Ver quiet area…Would definitely recommend this place.

Pleasant stay in Buellton amarriott

Our room and the main areas of the hotel were very clean. Breakfast was excellent & pool area is great. They ran out of pool towels & did not restock, but I was able to get one from the front desk.

our only difficulty with hotel: my husband fell out of the bathtub onto the floor because there was no friction pads on tub floor. Hotel is lacking quality control. We asked for at least one day comp but Marriott explained Expedia would need to refund us.
Hotel met other expectations: relatively clean, staff was very accomodating.

I called two weeks before our trip to request early check in which they said they could not guarantee so I said I would call the day of and ask if it was possible. They said they could not guarantee it AGAIN but I was still charged for it. We ended up getting there around 3 (check in was at 4 pm) since they said they couldn’t guarantee early check and had to wait in the lobby for an hour. Our AC was also broken and someone came to check and said “no it’s working” but it most definitely wasn’t. We and our two dogs were so warm but we couldn’t leave our sliding door open because we were on the first floor and that’s unsafe. We asked to change rooms but they said they were fully booked for Memorial Day weekend.

Unexpectedly poor condition

The bathroom and shower were in bad shape. There was a hole in the shower ceiling with a pipe hanging out, and a hole in the tile floor. The wall had some damage as well. Not sure why we were given this room for two nights but I will not be staying there again if all of the rooms are in the same neglect.

Breakfast cost way too high.

My biggest issue was the fact that every hotel around the world has free continental breakfast and the Marriot does not. I thought paying $56 for the both of us was very high considering it was no different than the breakfast at the best western for free. We do understand the area but come on breakfast?

Tedious process when it came to checking in because the front desk spelled my last name wrong. I also paid for breakfast but the front desk forgot to give me the vouchers and I had to ask for it on my last day there. Overall, the experience was okay.

Perfect for a Slovang / Chumash visit.

Perfect place for us, quick brunch breakfast and Tesla Charging station on property. Also, for kids a Mcdonalds next door and Panda & Starbucks across the street 5 min walk. Will gladly come back.
