This hotel is very clean. The staff are lovely. The buffet breakfast is delicious. They cater well to English speaking people. They have a free bus to Disneyland which is great. The dinosaurs at check in are a funny novelty. Prices to stay here are very reasonable! Would definitely stay here again.

Housekeeping bad, don't provide new towel/toothbrush unless ask & requeat to pick up from reception. Even after putting the sign to make up the room they did not. Bed is hard & only provide one pillow each pax. Staff onsite unfriendly and not helpful. Location is far from everywhere. Free transport back to hotel from disney don't make sense as firework end 9pm & last transport 9.30pm. Dirver saw us running for the bus but just left. Dryer is not working well after setting for an hour it's still wet

Can’t rate staff and their service as I didn’t talk to anyone. Anyhow, I booked this hotel for it’s uniqueness and free shuttle to Maihama station. Since I wasn’t able to talk to anyone, I did know how to get the free number for the shuttle. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to do the free shuttle (by the way, I was there at the lobby 30mins before departure) the number to take the number is gone. So be aware that they could release this much earlier. So instead I took the cab and for reference, I paid ¥3400 in the morning and evening I paid ¥4600 since the evening rate was applied. If you could find a nearer hotel for Disneyland, maybe better to find a much nearer to Maihama station or train line that goes there.

There should be options for English translations throughout, including for the TV. It would be helpful to have settings and information available in English so that people can easily understand everything. Additionally, it’s important to provide heating for the rooms and to vary the breakfast options instead of serving the same items every day.

I picked this hotel because of its proximity to Disney. Come to find out, they offer a shuttle bus to go in the morning and return in the evening!

The dinosaurs are an added plus, it was very nice to come through the doors and see them :3

The hotel offers quite a few amenties. Japanese curry for breakfast, tea time, and then a little bar to make your own drink. Some toiletries are provided, and even a nightgown. Luggage storage is not behind the counter, but it is free and you can either put your stuff in a locker or locked up with something like a bike lock.

Coming here is a nice experience worth having :D

We loved it!!! We left a few days open on our vacation schedule and will probably stop backs The neighborhood has plenty to do but is also quiet and charming! We locked ourselves out and the Hotel Staff was quick to help and extremely pleasant.

The dinosaur check-in was such a fun and it really set the tone for a memorable stay! The complimentary amenities were lovely, including breakfast, afternoon snacks, and evening hors d’oeuvres.

For anyone staying longer, there’s a laundromat just an eight-minute walk away that will wash, dry, and provide detergent for about ¥900–¥1000—a great value and super convenient!

Absolutely loved our stay at Henn na Hotel Nishikasai!
1. It is just a few minutes walk to the metro station, which is so easy and cost efficient to use. We used it for our trips into the city.
2. Located in a walkable area with a 7-11, Lawson, Family Mart and a McDonalds all within a couple of blocks. Lots of dining options as well!
3. The hotel is beautiful, inside and out!
4. The dinosaurs talk every time you walk in. English and Japanese! Made for a fun atmosphere!
5. There is a phone to contact staff. They are quick to answer, polite, and go above and beyond to assist you with questions and requests.
6. The rooms are spacious, super clean, and the beds are so comfortable! Bathroom is roomy, with a deep, soaking tub. The shower is fantastic with strong water pressure and hot water. The soap they offer smells wonderful and left my skin super soft. I didn’t have to use moisturizer the entire stay. The shampoo and conditioner smell amazing too and left my hair soft, with volume, no frizziness and easy to comb through and style.
7. The hotel is spotless! Even smells clean! We never once saw our cleaning service but they tidied up our room and bedding daily. So nice to come back to after a long day of sightseeing.
8. The shuttle service to Disney is on time, efficient and well organized. They give out passes one half hour before departure and we always had a seat.
9. Breakfast is so good! Afternoon cookies and drinks every night! A staple for us! Miso soup and sodas too!

Fantastic base for Disney, Tokyo and beyond

The staff (not the dinosaurs) at Henn na Hotel Tokyo were extremely helpful.
Provided there's space, there was no issue with just hopping on the Disney shuttle without a ticket, and when we had to extend our stay for an extra night we were able to check-in to one room early.
The metro is a short walk away and connects to major stations making getting around Tokyo on a 24hr ticket simple (you don't need a ticket for 4yr olds)

This was a longer stay so we chose the less expensive hotel for all five us. It was small room but efficient for our needs. Shuttle service was prefect for Star Wars Celebration and Disney. Local transit station was very close. Many restaurants and uber eats if you rest your feet.

Check-in and check-out was very fast if you input your info early from their email. The talking dinosaurs were fun! Room was small, but good enough for a quick stay. Everything was clean. One of the usb ports by the bed was loose and did not charge well, but other than that, everything else was fine. The Disney shuttle was a perk we stayed for. The ticket process in the morning was easy. We also caught it back at night. Even the earliest one at 19:30 was crowded, so get in line early. Note that other hotels use the same stop.
Amenities here were the best, especially with the free breakfast, tea time, and cocktail hour. We used all of it and it was nice. I only wish the cookies from tea time were out for cocktail time too. The room amenities (body towels, razors, etc.) were available to take in the lobby which was nice. They offered pajamas, but we didn't use it.
We tried the LG Styler, but it didn't take out much wrinkles in our clothes. It came out feeling and smelling fresh though.

Rooms were clean & comfortable, albeit a bit on the small side. The included breakfast was good if you like curry for breakfast, we struggled with a non-Western breakfast! The drinks & biscuits available in the afternoon were good, as were the alcoholic beverages in the evening.
The shuttle bus to Disney was good, except for the pick up process. People were waiting in line & then when the bus arrived, others not in line rushed to the bus, meaning those lined up nearly missed getting on.

It was quite average. The dinosaur robots are only for check in and are a mimic as opposed to actually useful. They just say some words but mainly the check in is just on the screen, which is in most hotels in Tokyo anyway.
The breakfast was quite nice, but needed bread, I think, to make it good.
The \"serve yourself\" cocktails was a nice surprise, although mixer was thin on the ground, not much of it, which I think would be needed most so please add more mixer I think.
The rooms clean and fine but no TV. We couldn't get Chromecast to work and no other way to watch really. So that was naff.

This is very different from an American hotel so don’t come here with those expectations. The rooms are clean and efficient with a great little lounge area for breakfast, afternoon snacks, and evening drinks.

The dinosaurs are a unique touch. They read what is on the check in and check out screens but do not hold a conversation beyond that.

I found the hotel to be quiet and the area around it safe and walkable.

If you plan to use the shuttle to Disney be careful to follow all of the rules and line up early. Note the time of the last bus from the park which will require you make a decision to either stay for the fireworks show as the park closes and miss the bus or get a ride back to the hotel. It is nice that should you miss the bus it is located next to taxi stands.

This hotel is great! We stayed there for two nights and the hotel was very clean. The dinosaur theme is really cool and the animatronic dinosaurs wearing concierge hats were a nice touch. If you need staff assistance, they are quick to respond and very helpful. The staff also speaks English very well for any non-Japanese speakers out there. Overall, a great experience at a good price. I also liked the area it was in as it wasn't crazy busy but was close to a train station and bus stop. Also has some great dining options next to it. Don't remember its name, but the local ramen shop next door was fantastic. Definitely recommend this hotel!

Hotel was very clean, and room was relatively big for Tokyo's standards, but the hotel was also in a residential area. In the room they have an LG styler machine which was nice. The hotel doesn't have any front desk staff and in its place are 2 dinosaur robots but honestly you don't need them as you can just follow the instructions on the touch screen at the front. I guess they're amusing to look at. The hotel had a shuttle bus at specific times during the day to the Disney resort and then another during the afternoon to Tokyo station which was convenient.

LOVED this hotel! The robots at the front are a cute and unique concept for check in. Staff are always around to assist however if needed. Ammenities bar down stairs that you are able to help yourself to. Rooms were great, standard small Tokyo size room however comfy beds, great bathroom, fantastic LG Styler for our clothes. Best of all, the handy phone is available to use during your stay. This helped us so much during our first couple of days navigating the city. There is also a free shuttle bus from the hotel to DisneyLand or Tokyo and return. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough!!! Would definitely stay again.
