My stay was a delight. Staff are first class. Location is quite good. I encourage you to take the bus from Maihama station (look at the map to understand where to catch the bus). Do not walk. It is much further than you suspect.

Walk (without luggage) is straightforward from the Monorail stop. Rooms great; breakfast is good.

1 of a number of hotels in the Disney resort area, so a very nice hotel. Would stay again, it seemed like we were part of the 10% out of country tourists, most tourist seemed to be from other parts of Japan and very respectful. Very easy and frequent bus transportation from hotel to Disneyland, Disney Sea, and Maihama train station. Room had a bay facing window and could easily see Fuji-san on 2 of the clear days we stayed.

The breakfast was excellent with lots of western and Japanese options. The free hotel shuttle was very convenient for access to both parks. Overall it was a lovely stay while visiting Disney.

The first thing I’ve noticed is that all of the employees were very genuine pleasant to the guests. I love how they treat everyone with respect and kindness and i adore their attitude and hospitality especially their uniform. The outside, lobby, luggage counter transport and check in counter. Arigato Gozaimasu! I much appreciate all of you!

We absolutely love our room. It was very spacious, clean. I loved that from our room we can see the Disney train and the Disneyland castle. Thank you for placing us that room. I hope the next time we come back to Japan from Honolulu, Hawaii we can have that room again .

I enjoyed that the convenient store was in the hotel and the Disney store.

We didn’t have time to dine in. Hopefully next time.

The transportation to Disney sea and land was very convenient

I was extremely disappointed with my stay at the Tokyo Bay Maihama Hotel First Resort. The breakfast was terrible — very limited options and poor quality. The pillows were horrendous, flat and uncomfortable, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep.

The room itself felt outdated, with old and unnecessary decor that really needs an upgrade. To make matters worse, I found long hairs both in the bathroom and on the bed sheets — completely unacceptable for a hotel of this level.

Overall, the cleanliness and comfort were far below expectations. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially given the many better options available nearby.

The perfect place to stay for a visit to Tokyo Disney Resort if you want convenience, fun theming, transportation to the parks and don’t need anything fancy. It was really easy to get to the hotel via the monorail and then hotel bus. The bus to and from the parks each day was convenient and reliable! The hotel has a Disney store and a convenience store for snacks and drinks. The economy room was a bit old but had a very fun captains quarters theme and was clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower had good water pressure. The ceiling looked like the night sky with the lights off! Not much space for luggage but it worked for me. I would stay here again and recommend it for anyone looking for fairly priced, relatively inexpensive accommodations within the Disney Tokyo resort!

It was just OK. They nickel and dime guests for everything. The buffet is super over priced and mediocre. No real other options for food nearby unless you are willing to taxi. So the options are a mini mart, expensive mediocre buffet, and super expensive reservation only French restaurant. Bus to Disneyland was convenient, but next time I’m going to stay further away from Disneyland so that we have more dining options.

We have stayed at most of the resort hotels by Bayside station. This had to be one of the cleanest rooms. It is walkable like 12-13 min walk to Bayside stations. Definitely one of the furthest hotels from Bayside. The bus at Bayside station does come every 8-10 mins, after a long day it’s easier to take the bus. There is a convienent store downstairs in this hotel. The breakfast buffet was decent. Overall would stay again.

Very kind folks and great service

Biggest room we had in our entire Japan trip. Japanese beds are firm, so it takes some getting used to. Great service, especially the shuttle crew taking us to and from Disney and the transfer station. Food was less than great, but we only got the breakfast one day. I thought the breakfast was every day, but it was literally for only 1 day. I think that was more hotels.com than the hotel’s issue.

I liked this hotel that it is easy access between Narita Airport and the hotel: a limousine bus available with fee. It also offers free shuttle bus between the Maihama JR station and the hotel.

I wish the hotel has more options for restaurants because it is none after lunch hours until dinner.

This was a great hotel near Tokyo Disney. Staff were so kind and helpful and there was transport to the Disney Parks or to the metro station. Many amenities were provided and there was a konbini and restaurant if needed. I highly recommend this hotel!!

Super Convenient to Disney, Fun themed room

Loved how close this was to Disney! I walked 15 min to Disneyland (and walked 30 minutes to DisneySea) the bus is very convenient and runs to either Disneyland or DisneySea - to the monorail. (Note - you pay for the monorail to the park entrance- coming from Florida I was not used to paying for the monorail - so have yen) I loved my room! In my wing it was themed like a cruise ship - even to stepping over threshold in bathroom - and the tub - I felt like I was on a cruise! And I could see Disneyland hotel and the monorail from my window - I absolutely loved it. I had a fabulous time - and hope to return some day for another Disney visit. And will definitely select Tokyo Bay Maihama First Resort again. I was never able to get a coffee from the shop - or a meal in the restaurant - because I left before they opened and got back after they closed. Would have loved some kind of lobby service \"after hours\" (but everything in the area seemed to close by 9-9:30 pm)

This was super convenient for access to DisneySea. The resort bus was great! The breakfast buffet was good but exactly the same each day so could become boring on long stay. This place does NOT have a pool. The pictures are misleading - it has a huge \"water feature\". Good budget friendly place for a short Disney visit. And the dockside room decor is hysterical!

My only complaint was that for breakfast they have two buffets, but really the food is cooked in the California restaurant and then some is carted over to the other location, which is essentially overflow if you arrive between 7-9 AM (prime time before park openings.) The hotel is close to the Disney parks and offers a free shuttle service, which is very convenient. Breakfast always has the same options and there’s no hot milk or hot chocolate, but it’s fair overall. The laundry room is the weak point: it’s quite chaotic, with many guests ignoring the order of arrival and cutting in line without any concern. There’s no system to manage this, so it’s best to plan ahead to avoid needing it. During our stay, it rained, and we saw several guests using the dryers to dry their sneakers after the parks — I found this unhygienic and believe there should be some control over it. The staff are attentive and friendly. To receive two bottles of water per day, you must request a full room cleaning, as the light cleaning doesn’t include water. It’s a simple hotel, but it delivers what it promises. We would stay there again.
