1st time staying here. Accommodation is pretty nice, I wasn’t allowed for early check-in so that was terrible since there was nothing else to do especially if you went there after eating(a couple of restaurants nearby but other than that nothing to do). What was good is that there was a free shuttle bus to the disney resort (1st come first serve and depending on availability due guests for different hotels use the shuttle service). All in all it’s a cheap way to spend a night however the place itself looks new on the outside but looks like a dormitory changed into a hotel on the inside. My only comment is that the room was cozy and nice but very cold in the hallway unless you blast the heat. Due to the nature of the inside looking old, there’s a lot of mold, narrow space, unit shower/bathroom. Also if you have plans, make sure to leave before checkout since there’s only one narrow elevator that fits 4-5 people and you have to wait in line on your floor to get on when people from other floors are out. Upon check-in staff were forcing a smile and cleaning staff took the elevator before the guests so I found that odd but everything was fine

The property was quite close to the train station. Add allowed for a bus route. However, the room is very old-fashioned it was one of the smallest hotel rooms I had stayed in Japan. The shower-head had fallen off during our shower and sprayed the entire bathroom causing us to leave the fan on all night and unfortunately it musty the next day. For the price it was very good room, however, unsure if I would’ve been happy with a multiple day stay.

The front desk people were very nice. Spoke enough English to help us with future plans along with Disney plans and shuttle information. Were able to take our bags before check-in and moved our bags into our rooms by the time we were there to check in. They do mention that the lobby closes after 10 and would only be open for emergencies. The hotel room was a good size however, it definitely has an older feel to it. The bathroom was a bit cramped with a very high tub which causes to hit our knees a couple times. The placement, for the showerhead broke in our room, causing the showerhead to spray water all over the bathroom. Overall nice for a hotel passing by unsure if you are looking for multiple days.

This was my first time staying at Hotel Flexstay Shin-Urayasu.

The only thing I didn't like was the distance from the Disney Parks. I looked at Google Maps before booking, and it didn't seem to be far away.

The free shuttle bus is limited trips in the morning and evenings to and from the Disney Parks. It services several hotels, so you have to know where to get off for this hotel. Thankfully the driver announced our stop in the evening. I estimate it takes 10-15 minutes from the bus stop below Ikspiri (Column number C3).

Shuttle to the parks is 8:35, 9:30, 10:25 am. Shuttle to the hotel is 21:00, 21:30, 22:00 pm. Seasonal schedule is subject to change depending on the parks hours.

Taking the JR train from Maihama Station to Shin-Urayasu Station, leaves you with a 15 minute walk back to the hotel.

There is also a city bus that will get you close to the hotel. 170 Yen each way. The hotel gives you a bus schedule at check in.

Room is small, but was just right for my stay. Quiet location. Comfortable bed, and free amenities available in the lobby.

No housekeeping during my stay, but you can get fresh towels and trash bags at the front desk.

Front desk is open from 8 or 9 am (not exactly sure), and closes at 10 pm. So for checking in, you have to be there before the staff leaves at 10 pm.

You use your room key to enter the lobby at all hours.

Although the hotel met my needs for three nights, in future trips, I will stay closer to the Disney parks.

Reception was delightful . He explained everything to me in English. No problems until I went to sleep. People above me were running or moving things around in there for an hour. After the second call to reception they moved my room. It was better until the morning at 0700h something begin knocking in the ceilings. I was so exhausted from the day before, I didn’t complain only laid in bed. Then I heard the trains running. Not a good location for light sleepers.

Apartment with rooms for rent by day or week. Free breakfast and small cafe on site. Laundry service available with fee. Only downside it is hard to find. Even locals couldn’t send you directions. Make sure you have a map to show your taxi driver.

Great location for Disney. We walked to DisneySea and Disneyland. About a 30 minute walk. Train station is about a 15 minute walk. Very clean hotel with LOTS of storage space. Bed wasn't very comfy but that was the only negative. Loved it!

Cozy Japanese Micro Apartment Style Hotel

Great staff, easy to get to Disneyland and back! There is even a Big Boy restaurant just down the street that’s open late!

Enjoyed the coziness, though it has very few frills. Think of the stay like being in a tiny Japanese apartment and not a hotel.

Staff were very friendly (as usual in Japan). Bed was rock hard. It really is not necessary to have a bed that hard. Even a tatami on the floor would be softer.
The distance from the Shin-Urayasu station is a little bit far when you have luggage.
I think if the beds can be overhauled to a comfortable level of softness, it would be good. I stayed for 7 days. Despite the staff being excellent, I would not stay again, unfortunately.
Pros include:
- Major shopping centre with many food choices
- Kitchen (maybe not in all rooms) which included one hot stove.
- Washing machine in room (dryers down in foyer), which is a very good amenity.
- Proximity may suit many people who have to work in Tokyo for a while. Keiyou (京葉, or けいよう) train line goes directly to Tokyo Station.
- Room size is actually not too bad compared to many cheaper hotels in the Tokyo vicinity. The desk size was adequate also.
- Bathroom slightly larger than usual for cheap hotel.

My first impression wasn’t great because of the bed and bathroom but it wasn’t as bad as I expected. The bed was just big enough to fit my husband and I somewhat comfortably. The AC was amazing! Also, the bed was comfy along with the comforter and pillows. The shower wasn’t that bad either just don’t expect to shower together. Overall, it was a good price for a good stay.

Very clean, but as expected for a Japanese hotel, rooms are compact. My husband and I are not very tall people so the size of the bathroom and living space did not bother us. There is a shuttle in the morning to take you to the train/subway station, which is the same drop off for Disney. Keep in mind this hotel is the last pick up location, so keep in mind you will squeeze into the bus. They do everything they can to not leave behind anyone. Although there is a shuttle to Disney, there is not a shuttle to take you back. It’s walkable, unfortunately it was so cold and we were too exhausted that we took a taxi back, it cost about $13 US dollars.

Hotel employee speaks limited English, but they have signs in English to help with your needs. There is a 7-11 less than 2 minutes away, which is great for a breakfast (buns) and lunches (onigiri or gyudon).

I would stay again if I couldn’t get a room closer to Disney.

Place was not close to public transport at all, expect the bus. Was about a 10-15min walk to nearest train station. Believed to be close to Disney but was not. However, if going for work or other type of stay where a partial kitchen and laundry is needed, this place includes those amenities. Also, in very quiet location.

The Best Cheap Hotel Next To Disneyland

This was a great inexpensive way to stay at a hotel that is right next to Tokyo Disneyland and Disney Sea. They have free transportation to the parks. You will have to take the city bus back for about $2. Also is only a 20 min walk if you decided not to wait for the bus. The room was bigger than most Japanese Hotels and included a small kitchen but we just ate at the park. There is a big Hub bar and others that is a 20 min walk or shorter by cab/bus. There is no room service throughout your stay but the room is clean and stocked for when you arrive. I would reccomend this place to future travelers coming from anywhere in the world.

Convenient Place to Stay when Visiting Disneyland

Just a short bus ride from Tokyo Disneyland, the Flexstay was convenient for spending a few days with Mickey Mouse. The shuttle bus to and from the park was amazingly convenient and made this an excellent choice to say. The facilities are getting old but are well-kept and very clean; you can just feel that the building has been there a while. Overall, it's a great place to stay for a family in the area of Disneyland or nearby events.

Decent for the price

In general if you are just looking for a place to sleep and shower, this place would be adequate. It appears this place is in a residential neighbourhood therefore it is very quiet at night and very busy with people going to work in the morning.
There is no wifi in the rooms. There is a wired connection in the room.
It is like an apartment where they give you towels at the beginning of your stay but do not clean or change anything in your room.
In general, for the price it was decent for what I needed.
To get to disneyland/disney sea it is a bit of a trek. It is about a 15 minute walk to the subway station which is one stop away or a 45 minute walk to disneyland. It isn't really that close to anything else.

Great hotel if you are no fuss pot!

If you are no fuss-pot and a budget traveller looking for an awesome time at Tokyo Disneyland, this is the place to stay. A few reasons:
- Its a few bus stops away from Disneyland.. So this makes it accessible. While they have 3 hourly slots for a free bus shuttle to disneyland, doesnt hurt to take the public bus if you dont like the timing. Take about 10 to 15 mins to reach.
- its a nice and quiet neighbourhood, very safe... Going back late at 11ish at nite is not a problem.
- few bus-stops away takes you to Shin Urayasu train station, you have a great supermarket and a shopping center, if you need to stock up snacks for a fun day at Disneyland. There is a 24hr Lawson (like a 7-11) nearby. This station takes you straight to Tokyo Station. Love the ease of accessibility of this location.
The downside:
- no daily housekeeping, throw trash yourself; no towel change unless u ask at the reception.
- airport limo does not stop here, have to find the nearest location to drop off and board.
- room wifi is not auto, need to ask from the counter
- the staff dont speak much English, but ok enough to get by.
Overall, it is a comfortable place if you just need a place to sleep. I had a non-smoking room, so i was happy!

It is Cheap, and you get what you pay for

I knew it was cheap, and you get what you pay for, and there is nothing wrong with a cheap room in general. The location of the hotel is away from things, its a 20 minute walk to Shin-Urayasu station, but there are regular buses from near the front of the hotel that will take you to Shin-Urayasu or Disneyland so it can be convenient and worth the savings. It is Japan so the rooms are tiny, but if all your after is a warm bet and a shower and somewhere safe to keep your stuff, that is all you need. The problem that I had is the bed was rather firm and the air-conditioning lacked calibration which meant it was hard to get a good night sleep

It was just ok

I booked this hotel for just one night as I was passing through cities and it was just ok. The hotel staff was amazing and incredibly nice as I would expect from pretty much any Japanese hotel. They didn't speak much english but luckily I had a native speaker to help me out. The commute from the Shin-Urayasu station is a tiresome trek with bicyclists passing up and down each sidewalk. I would recommend anyone booking this hotel to use a taxi from that station because hauling luggage is just not ideal with the eccentric sidewalks. The area is a nice contrast from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. It feels like a local domain with bike parking and people walk all around in sparse amounts. The room's funk smelled like moist carpet which was perhaps the worst part of the stay. The interior was everything that I would expect with a Japanese hotel which was a small deep bathtub in a compact bathroom. For the price and proximity to the famed Disney location, this place is just ok. It sure beats paying $400USD at neighboring hotels.

マンションを改装した造りと聞いていたので、その通りで気に入りました。
お掃除も行き渡っていると感じました。

この安さでこのサービスは素晴らしいと思いました。もちろん、古さを感じて少し怖いと思うところもありますが、フロントの方は丁寧で優しく、部屋も普通です。ディズニーからのアクセスも良いので良かったです。
