Breakfast was ok. Loved the waffle maker. Bit more variety is needed. My shower in my room was not clean upon arrival. Took awhile to get hot water for a decent shower. Over all, the stay was great for the price.

Before you get a room here, it is $150 for a deposit, it’s no pool, or business center but they have a gym. I didn’t use it. They have complementary breakfast, but not much to it and you can’t take it to your room. The room with two beds comes with a desk and office chair. My bathroom was dirty and the beds sheets was itchy. My brother broke out from the sheets. I couldn’t sleep well at all. The bed was too hard. Overall the staff was nice.

From the moment we entered the hotel, we were hit with strong, offensive odors of marijuana and mildew, making it immediately clear that this property was severely neglected. Room 308 only deepened that disappointment. The television did not work, and the room itself was in unacceptable condition. The carpet, walls, and overall appearance were worn, dirty, and uninviting. A replacement remote was provided, yet it was also nonfunctional. When a front desk clerk attempted to assist, we were told the television could not be fixed due to a broken antenna port.
We were then offered another room on the same floor or the floor above. I specifically stated that I did not want an end room or one worse than the one we were already in. Despite this, the only options presented were an end-of-hall room or one directly above, which we reluctantly accepted. Unfortunately, the second room was in even worse condition than the first, confirming a troubling pattern of neglect throughout the property.
The elevator was visibly run-down, the hallways reeked of marijuana, and the carpets throughout the hotel were old, uneven, and heavily worn. The fitness room was completely unusable, as neither the treadmill nor the elliptical machine worked. The parking lot and surrounding area felt unsafe and unsettling.
It is unacceptable that La Quinta Inn St. Louis Hazelwood – Airport North requires an incidental deposit when the rooms appear to have already suffered extensive damage and neglect. FRUSTRATED!!

Had to switch rooms because heater was broken room was shabby at best. They were using a cup to hold the tv up. Property requested deposit in cash with no cash discount. The deposit still hadn't been refunded from our stay 4 days prior on my card because they run it as a charge and not a hold $150 for room I paid $38 for.

There were dirty towels left in the room upon my check-in. I informed the desk clerk and he stated he would take care of it. When we returned back to the room it was still there. We found someone else's sock in the room. The shower needed to be cleaned. Hair was found in it upon check-in. My husband and I was very disappointed especially for the money we spent. I would not stay again nor recommend it to anyone.

Our stay was very nice. We only had a proble the first night with not being able to get the heat down. They offered to move us to another room but we said we would stay where we were. They did adjust it the next morning. The people were extremely kind and helpful. My daughter is short and needed a stool to get on and off the wonderful beds. They brought in a stool for her to use. The breakfast was wonderful, hot, and super nice lady caring for that area. We really enjoyed our stay! We would also recommend the Inn to anyone we would know were traveling through this area.

Filthy. Reeked of weed everywhere. Water damage on the floors. When we arrived to our room the door was fully propped open. If you could literally crawl into a blunt, this is what it would be like. Left within minutes of arriving. Do NOT recommend staying here at all.

When myself and my mom arrived to our room we noticed a discolored circle on the ground what ended up being throw up and the room was extremely hot throughout the night. When I went down to ask for a room change I was just told I wouldn’t be charged for the mess on the ground and was not able to change rooms or to get any type reimbursement.

It was the dirtiest La Quinta and maybe hotel I have ever stayed at. The breakfast area was very dirty and no one there seems to be interested in the property or their guests. Windows very dirty everywhere... you can't even see through them. I was on the 3rd floor and the carpet had waves in it... very bad property.

Room reeked of human urine, the entry floor was sticky, and there was trash under the bed. Staff wasn’t welcoming and didn’t explain anything, seemed like an inconvenience that we were there. The room key stopped working an hour before check out as well, and we had to get it reactivated to get our things out.

The hotel was fine, The bathroom was a little dirty, there was black hair in the shower and none of us have black hair, the hot water took forever to come on, and a car alarm under my window woke me up at 3:30 a.m. When I went down for breakfast, they had run out of eggs and didn't bring any more even though it wasn't even 10 a.m. yet. The bed was too hard and I woke up with back pain. But everything else was fine. At least we got a good night's sleep, lol.

This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had in my 48 years of traveling. The room reeked of cat urine, there was a crack in the closet door, the carpet was frayed with holes, and there was even a chunk of what looked like soap on the floor when we first walked in. The bathtub and toilet were lined with dust balls and trash, and the bedding had visible stains—it all felt so dirty that we slept fully clothed.

The noise was unbearable. Doors near our room slammed so loudly it sounded like thunder, people upstairs sounded like a circus at 3 a.m., and to top it off, the hotel staff stood outside our door at 8 a.m. yelling back and forth.

Outside of what they can’t control with guests, the cleanliness and upkeep were absolutely unacceptable. We stayed less than 12 hours and couldn’t wait to leave. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Overall our stay was just “okay”.

The room smelled like cat. I would have preferred to stay in a room that didn’t have pets prior. Would be nice if the pet friendly rooms were for people with pets only?

The bed was ok to sleep in. The staff was friendly at check in/out.

I did like that the room was updated with more modern decor/colors however it was very small. I didn’t like the sink separated, but it worked out.

I felt that $150 deposit was a little too much for the deposit. The breakfast was good 👍

The rooms are what you expect for la Quinta. It was clean and the staff was friendly. For that I would rate it a five.
My main complaint is they do not follow health department requirements for their breakfast.
Everything is unplugged 1/2 before breakfast ends and just sits there getting to cold. Serf sav classes teach the importance of time and temperature for food and the many illnesses you can get from good left at room temperature for to long.so the only thing hot that is safe to eat is the waffles.

To start off, elevator was broken. We were assigned on third floor, so you can imagine as a tourist how exhausting it was to carry the baggage. When we got the room and inspected, it was dirty. The shower was filthy and full of hairs. We went downstairs to inform the staff, and they moved us to an \"upgraded\" room. It was worse. There was a lot of trash under the couch, the restroom was worse. It was not clean. The toilet seat was black,mirror was dirty. Unfortunately, it was that dirty we showered in crocs. The bed sheets were all stained. Bad enough for us, that all prices at that point had gone up drastically, so we had no choice, but to stay. If you are even thinking about La Quinta, please do not go there. Standars are extremely poor, and unfortunately, the facility is very ran down. Roofs looked like they were going to collapse on you. Despite the painting over the mold, you could literally still see it. Bad experience in general.
