Hanging curtain was dirty and sticky with hair and blood on it. Outside gate was always locked and you would have to press the key to call in order to get inside, but staff may not be there sometime to open. Room has no window.

No complaints considering it was a hostel, so considering it was a dormitory by choice the only thing to consider are your neighbours when they have no consideration for you sleeping when they turn lights o and make a noise etc. Staff were excellent and extremely helpful

Possibly Best Hostel in Spain
This might be the best hostel in Spain. The outdoor spaces and huge adjacent dining area are welcoming. The room had pleasant air conditioning. And, the staff is friendly and attentive. They were as good as luxury hotel staff. (On the previous night, I stayed at another hostel in Barcelona and it was so uncomfortable, and not will maintained.)

Convenient location in beautiful building. Staff keep the whole hostel very clean and clean the bathrooms multiple times throughout the day. Enjoyed the space for working and outdoor terrace. Kitchen is available for cooking. There also is one self service laundry machine.

Located in the heart of Passeig de Gracia. While the common kitchen is small, get some prepared salads or sandwiches at any convenient store and dine at the outdoor area. Skip the 8-euro breakfast and explore the neighborhood cafe and bakeries. Booking a shared room with a private bathroom is an added bonus. It also helps that there is a self-service laundry machine/dryer. Had a pleasant stay.

First impressions were excellent with a warm and friendly welcome from Diego. I really enjoyed the outside terrace. The staff work hard to keep the property clean. Excellent central location close to subway and very walkable. I appreciated the ability to label my food and cook in the kitchen. My cable locks did not work on their lockers. Can purchase for 6 euros. Use of their towel is 2.50 euros.

Loved the staff, Diego was super, as was Idania. Bunk bed was great - comfortable, clean. Would recommend that the Hostal encourage guests (and staff) to use earbuds/headphones when watching stuff on their phones while in dormitory/dining room/interior patio room off of the bedrooms and kitchen. The bathroom shower areas would benefit from improved ventilation and air circulation. Great central location AND away from the madding crowds of the Ramblas.

Stayed in a 4 bed shared room. Staff was very nice and helpful. Very pretty terrace to spend time. Room and kitchen was always clean, beddings were changed daily. Toilets and showers were not very bad but could be better. One negative thing was that my room took all the outside noise.

The area was in a great location. Felt safe . The female who worked in the evening was awesome . My only complaint was how loud it was . If you stay in rooms 1-3 you are right across from the entrance, front desk, restroom so you hear everything . Very loud all night .

The hostel was clean and the bed was comfortable. I liked that there was a little curtain to your bed so you could have a little privacy. I didn’t use the common areas that much since I was there with a friend and we hung outside of the hostel most of the time. But the terrace was a nice spot!
The area has nice shops, restaurants and bars and, it’s close to the subway.
The only thing that could improve is maybe the balcony door is not sealed enough to keep outside noise. And a bigger shelf to the bed 😁 All in all I had a great stay and, I would recommend other to stay there!

Extremamente bem localizado, literalmente ao lado de uma estação de metrô e vários prontos de ônibus. Estrutura ótima também! Os quartos tem um espaço bacana, com cortinas entre as camas para manter uma certa privacidade. Eles possuem cozinha, lavanderia e uma área de lazer bem bacana. TODOS que trabalhavam no hostel foram maravilhosos comigo, não tenho nada pra reclamar da estadia! Além do mais Barcelona é uma cidade incrível!!! Totalmente recomendaria a um amigo.

This was a lovely quiet hostel. The beds were comfy with a privacy curtain. It was clean. The self serve laundry was great (need go bring your own detergent). The breafast was adequate. Wi fi was a little slow. The showeres were very small with no where to put your belongings, but the water was hot. Staff were helpful. The common areas were good. Kitchen to make meals in, but would prefer that this closed earlier than 2300, as the noise impacts on the dorms. Airconditioning adjustable to your needs. Best hostel I have stayed in so far. Location close to metro and attractons. If tempted to do the walking tour that meets in the loby, be aware that this gets you on the 1100, not the 1000 tour.

I was very tired from my flight as I had been traveling for a long time and I wanted an early check in. I couldn't get one but let me tell you it didn't even matter, the hostel exceeded my expectations is every aspect. From check in- Cecila is THE BEST check in associate. She was absolutely wonderful and a pleasure and started my final day off in Barcelona well. She made conversation that was so pleasant and nice. She is wonderful and should be recognized.

The hospitality and facilities I received for the price went beyond my expectations. As a woman travelling alone for the first time in Europe, I was really nervous about my trip. Staying at Rodamon put all those worries to rest. The staff make you feel welcome and at home the second you get there. The rooms are clean and the breakout space - especially the terrace are beautiful. I felt so safe, I never had to wait for a shower, in fact the whole place has a very relaxed feel to it. Location wise it’s amazing. Everything you need is on your doorstep and it’s a 15-20 walk straight from where the Aerobús from the airport drops you off. I really can’t recommend this place enough

Just returned home after 4 nights at Rodamon hostel. My first time in a hostel, cleaner than most hotels I’ve stayed in and the staff were super friendly. Breakfast is okay for the price and you can buy water, soft drinks and beer from reception. Rooms were very clean and spacious, individual charging ports and curtains around the beds is great. Individual lights seem like a good idea until you get blinded at 4 in the morning. Bathrooms clean and plenty of them. Common room and terrace are fab and it’s central to metro and lots of tourist attractions. Would stay with the chain again! Thank you for an amazing first experience in a hostel.

The location of this hostel is great. I was staying at the 4 beds shared room and luckily my roommates are all very nice and keep the room really quiet at night so I had a really good sleep. We had a bathroom inside out share room, but there was a time that it was occupied, so I try to go to the common washroom (female) outside our room. It was terrible, with really a lot of hair on the floor. But the other places in the hotel are clean and tidy

The bunk beds were very nice with there own charging ports lamp and curtain for privacy (like a mini cubicle) the place also felt very homely and was exceptionally clean. I felt very relaxed being here and 10/10 would definitely return whenni can.

I checked in at 3am and the guy working at reception was very helpful. The same guy was there when I checked out at 5am after staying there for 6 days. Again he was very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend this hostel to any sooo travellers out there.

This hostel was perfect! We had a private room and bathroom, but there were great amenities like a kitchen, living area, laundry and lounge room kind of area. Our room was great, air conditioning worked perfectly which is very important in Barcelona!! The room was quite small but all we needed. Bed wasn’t extremely comfortable but also, all we needed and could not complain. Staff were wonderful. Very happy with this stay!

I found the room in great condition. It was well air conditioned and clean. Staff was very friendly and had great recommendations for places to see for tourists. I would recommend this hostel to any of my friends. The terrace was very quaint and had comfortable sitting chairs.

Looks great but not quite as good as it should be
It's got the nice modern look of a hostel with curtains around the beds and spacious looking bathroom. But, the top bunks don't have any cover so when the lights on it shines right on you. The bathrooms have very limited hanging space for putting things.
I was unfortunate to have some very inconsiderate people in the dorm who like chatting at 3am etc. but this seems to be a typical problem in Europe so far.
Other than the few things lacking the hostel was very clean (a bit too clean being made to move for the cleaners to get to the floor I was sitting around) and there's a lot of outdoor seating space. The kitchen seemed very small for the size of the hostel but it never seemed to cause a problem.

Other than the few things lacking the hostel was very clean (a bit too clean being made to move for the cleaners to get to the floor I was sitting around) and there's a lot of outdoor seating space. The kitchen seemed very small for the size of the hostel but it never seemed to cause a problem.

Needed a place to sleep in, just stayed overnight for a little over 10hours. Place is great, between casa battlo and casa mila, very near the metro. I'd like to commend the lady in the reception too (i missed her name), she was very helpful.

It was my first hostel experience, and I think it was a great choice given that. It was very clean, the staff was super friendly and helpful, and it was a great place to meet other people and chat with fellow travelers. (Mostly young people in their 20s).
The neighborhood doesn't have a ton going on, but is a beautiful, safe feeling area, that was nice to walk through. You'll see Casa Batlo and one of the other Gaudí houses on your wall to and from Plaza Catalunya and the rest of the main part of the city.
The only complaints I would have would be a squeaky bed and the kinds of things one would expect when staying with multiple strangers I one room. Overall highly recommend

My stay at Rodamon was excellent. During our 2 week European trip, we enjoyed staying at Rodamon over staying at some of the 4 star hotels. Staying in a private room at this hostel was like having the best of staying in a hotel and an apartment put together, as we had a private room with spacious bathroom all to ourselves yet had access to all common area facilities such as the kitchen, dining area, patio, and the laundry facilities. Hotel staffs were very helpful, and check-in/check-out were a breeze. The neighbourhood is also very clean and safe, yet convenient located steps away from the metro and the main shopping district.
