The staff was very accommodating. Any requests were met quickly & efficiently.
We stayed in the family room with 2 joining rooms. The first (smaller room) was the least desirable. No natural light and minimal lighting from lamps. The second larger room was a bit better, with the window additions.
In general the darkness of the rooms was our biggest issue. In general the flow in the rooms was very cut & paste. Small little turns, tight little corners, almost like two buildings were connected.
Minor things also included very stained couches in both rooms, water flow inconsistencies (at one point we didn’t have any water in our room) and at other times, air pockets in pipes would shoot out water very aggressively. It would also be nice to have small hand towels near sink.

The hotel is in a great location, but my experience could have been smoother. I noticed some maintenance issues in my room, such as broken door handles, and I had difficulty getting timely assistance with travel arrangements and some reservation details. With more attentive support and upkeep, this could be an excellent place to stay.

I absolutely LOVE the Sir Victor hotel. I try to stay there every time I come to Barcelona. Their rooftop has amazing vibes, and delicious bites. I visited their spa for the first time for a massage on this last visit and it was probably the best massage I’ve ever had. Highly recommend the Sir Victor for its location, staff, service, and overall vibe.

I had the most incredible stay at the Sir Victor. The room was stylish, large, clean, and very confortable. Every staff member was incredible helpful and welcoming. I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. The rooftop was beautiful and I know it made my stay in Barcelona that much better.

The staff was outstanding, hotel was overall clean and the location was great. Two concerning things - we had a visit from two male staff members bringing chocolates at 21:00 (9:00 PM) who used a pass key to enter the room after we didn't immediately respond. The intentions were good but scary for my wife who had already started to sleep.
Secondly, the WC (rest rooms) in the lobby were embarrassingly unusable or dirty. To access, you have to enter through curtains hanging over a door that is unmarked, go down a very dark hallway - there are only two (also without lighting) and one had a door that wouldn't close at all. The other was dirty. Starbucks around the corner had much better facilities - we had never stayed in a hotel with such poor facilities and of course expected more.

I think the location is very good, so the occupancy rate is high that is why the hotel is maintained the business. but the hallway carpet shows signs of wear over time, and there are stains on the chairs and carpets indoors. The rooftop pool also has rust, and everything feels worn out. I absolutely do not recommend the spa's massage.

The hotel was dirty, the spa was the worse, with dirty cups in the sauna, no towel in the changing room, bad smell.
My room was cold and I could not increase the temperature, there was no extra blanket.
The service was very average.

Great location with a hip vibe

As a hotel designers for over 40 years before retirement I scrutinize my hotel selection more than most. This hotel had a very hip vibe not lost on my 70 year old body. The facility is amazing. My issues were all easily fixed by management. We waited over 20 minutes after placing a drink order for it to arrive at our rooftop table. I was then presented with someone else's check for payment. We ate at the bar one night and the bartender came out from behind the bar to take our order. I thought that was a nice touch but the bartender had a case of bad breath. And finally even though at check in I confirmed we had prepaid for breakfast our last day there was a lot of confusion about what we could and could not have for breakfast.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Wonderful location.
We had the family suite which is two adjoining rooms. Lots of space. The room for the kids with two twin beds was very dimly lit and no natural light. The windows look out to a shaft between the buildings. The main room looked out onto a rooftop construction site between the buildings. Most rooms have balconies but not this family suite.
Food was very good at the restaurant.
Could hear and feel the base pumping from a nearby club until 2-4am.

Family trip review

Overall we enjoyed staying here but there are a few things to note that I wish I had known before booking, especially if travelling with a family.

Pros - really comfy beds, and excellent food at Mr. Porter (including the breakfast).

Cons - the adjoining room that our kids stayed in had no windows. They were blocked out, so the room was a little oppressive.
The indoor pool is adult only. This was a huge bummer as since we were travelling in December when outdoor pools aren't in use, we specifically chose a hotel with an indoor pool only to get there and be told the kids were not allowed in. They also never mentioned this at reception when we asked what time the pool was open until, so our kids were very disappointed. Also, no real special effort for kids (kids robes, teddy bears or toiletries) as I would expect from a 5 star hotel.

Worth noting also, that the view from our room was of a rough looking courtyard. No real feel that you are in Barcelona, although at least our room had windows!

Overall, a good experience but not what I would expect from a 5 star hotel. Wasn't horrible but would try somewhere else next time.

Phenomenal customer service, very clean and the food was amazing at Mr. Porter’s. The only feedback is that doors to the bathroom and closet didn’t close. The shower door not closing made it difficult to take showers without water leaking. But, that is a building management and design issue and HIGHLY recommend this hotel. This is my third trip to Barcelona and was better than the Majestic down the street especially considering price. Thank you.

Great location and neighborhood. Rooms had issues - fire detector was malfunctioning and had to be fixed, bathroom door could not close as it was off the tracks, basin was not draining properly, furniture was not functional as no bedside tables with plugs etc. Complaints were made to the front desk but there was no acknowledgement of discomfort experienced.

Staying for one night to catch an early plane, the front desk called at 3am to “check that the room was occupied”, waking up my entire family. I have no idea what possessed the staff to think dining at 3am made any sense. The next day they apologized saying that their reservation system was broken.

Sir Victor - next time your reservation system is broken do not check it by calling guests rooms at 3am.

The rest of the hotel experience was ok but the 3am phone call was unforgivable - and to just say “sorry” is almost more frustrating.

Overall nice little hotel with style and chic.
Great rooftop bar for drinks and hang out overlooking the streets.
Location is excellent at the heart of luxury shopping.
Breakfast is a disappointment.
Service is extremely slow and buffet selection is very limited.for the three days, there were very few people at breakfast,, at some points we were the only guests. There were at least 5 breakfast staff available but coffees took over 10 minutes.
Very disappointing.
Other than that, we had a great stay.

The Hotel was very eye pleasing with a modern design and house music at later hours of the night. The “Wifi” was non-existent. Although the staff member assured us it was due over occupancy at hotel, even at the dead of night there was no difference. We couldn’t physically google places to eat nor buy tickets to various attractions.
I emailed the hotel before my arrival and although they answered to my initial email, I didn’t receive a follow up regarding critical New Years Eve reservations or give any helpful recommendations. Location was great, right the in the middle of popular shopping venues. The restaurant Mr. Porter that was attached to the hotel, but not in partnership matched the overall vibe and created a unique atmosphere with very tasty cuisine.

Hotel très sympa, au centre ville mais dans un quartier calme à quelque pas des principales attractions de la ville.Les chambres sont très grandes, propres et bien décorées.
le service est complètement à revoir! pour un 5* il y a vraiment beaucoup à redire! D'abord en arrivant les personnes à l’accueil nous gardent 20 min pour vérifier tous nos passeports sans proposer un verre d'eau ou demander si on a eu un bon voyage.. on sent qu'ils ont envie d'être ailleurs!

Pour ma réservation j'avais payé tout à l'avance mais en arrivant à l’hôtel la personne à la réception m'indique qu'il faut que je paye la deuxième nuit. Je lui demande s'il est sûr, et il me dit que oui.. je vérifier sur mon compte et je vois que le montant totale a été déjà débité, je lui indique donc que normalement je ne dois pas payer deux fois.. et seulement à ce moment il me dit \"oui en effet, vous avez raison\"! On ne demande pas à un client de payer deux fois! on vérifier son dossier avant son arrivé!Le premier petit déjeuner horrible! on arrive à 9h30 (pas 6h du matin) et la salle du petit déjeuner est complètement à dresser! deux dames attendent début, sans dire bonjour ni rien, elles demandent notre chambre. Vraiment pas aimables! on s'assoit au bout de la salle (sans couverts) et on voit qu'une des deux dames commence à dresser à l'autre bout (alors que personne est assis là bas!!) . je lui fais signe de venir à notre table mais rien!j'ai du insister pour qu'elle vienne! à fuir pour le service!!!!!

Lovely stay but not an exceptional stay

I've stayed in almost all of the Sir Hotels, and unfortunately this one did not live up to the expectations. The air con in our room did not work so we had to change rooms. Some of the staff were super friendly and helpful, others were not so much. Some of the pool staff were a bit unfriendly and not eager to help. There were also only 4 sunbeds for the whole hotel, they took the others away to create tables and chairs. The hotel is in great location and they've got some of the bets beds and pillows I've slept on. The hotel in general up close looks a bit tired but we still enjoyed our stay. Sadly this felt more like a 4 star than a 5 star hotel.

Really great. The spa and gym are stellar. Mr Porter restaurant was amazing. We stayed in room 602 and unfortunately there’s a drumming sound that comes from outside that is associated with the mechanical box. Kept us up for the duration of our stay. I would suggest another room.

The staff was unbelieveable--from the staff checking us in, caring for our room and bags, to the hotel concierge--they all went above and beyond! They welcomed us warmly everytime we walked through the doors, suggested incredible local places to enjoy a meal and even walked 2 blocks down from the hotel to hail us a cab! Lovely and luxurious hotel, staff amazing. Only issue, the Michelin star restaurant was closed at end of July. Many other options around. Shopping too. Very close to Diagonal Metro station, but don’t use Metro, as its dangerous for tourists. Hotel highly recommended.

Hotel Omm was Om My God. Stylish, excellent food,great roof top terrace escape, spacious rooms (stayed in a superior room-no need for the suite upgrade) and most important excellent hospitality. Would stay again most def when I’m barcelona next. Only disappointment is that Roco moo closed down and so I suspect that the regular clientele of this hotel may be influenced.

Hotel is in a great location with exceptionally friendly staff. The common areas are very nice, but the room is not very welcoming. Rooms are dark even with all the lights on. Our bathroom had dust bunnies all along the edge & the floor had not been clean. Having 2 bathrooms (1 with bidet & toilet & the other with sink & shower seems like a cool idea, but is not practical or sanitary. After you use the restroom you have to go to the other bathroom to wash your hands!

Our stay at the Hotel Omm surpassed our expectations in several ways. Beautiful hotel in a great central location right off the Passeig de Gracia. The pool and rooftop bar were chic with an engaging international crowd and vibe, yet fun enough for our kids to splash around in after a long day of sight seeing.
The most wonderful part of our stay was the staff, with special thanks to Javier, who managed to salvage an otherwise completely lost and very expensive all day tour to the Costa Brava. We had been confused about the pick up area for our excursion and by the time we got to the right location had missed our group. The staff person at the excursion office, who will get her own separate commentary in a different review, told us that, 'nothing can be done'. Dejected, but not thwarted, we went back to our hotel, told Javier what had happened and he sprang into action. This is not an exaggeration, he had the entire thing fixed IN 3 MINUTES, and we were back on our way to a beautiful tour up the Costa Brava. Thanks again to our lovely, gracious, and experienced staff for saving the day!

They also remember you and ask about your day.
We had a problem with our credit card for purchasing a theatre ticket and one of the girls at the reception offered us to use her credit card to make the purchase. This was really outstanding!!!

Attentive and friendly staff

The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our stay.
Last day of my trip I got sick and they had sent a doctor to my room within a half hour.
They expressed their concern and sent me ginger tea.
I was extremely happy that I decided to book this hotel. Because of their courteous and friendly staff, I was able to get better in time and make my flight back home.

Barcelona hotel

fantastic hotel, centrally located, with a lovely roof bar with pool and a view of Gaudi's La Pedrera! Surrounded by many shops and restaurants and within easy walking distance of many Gaudi buildings, including La Sagrada. Highly recommend this hotel!

Very good experience. Staff at the reception was really friendly and helpful. Also, the room facility was really good.
The famous restaurant was closed during our stay. But even the Bar, or I guess it could be called the Bistro, within its limited range of dishes, served very tasty and delicious food. Very well done.

Best city hotel ever!

From the moment we arrived Omm was perfect. The staff couldn't do enough for us and the hotel relations person was so nice. We then got shown to a perfect room. Rooms are super modern and contemporary with built in Bose sound systems to connect too with smart devices. Our balcony looked over avenue De Gracia where it meets Rossello. Perfect for shopping high end stores as you wander down to Placa De Catalunya. Ideal! Loads do cool spots to eat and drink near the hotel and a gorgeous rooftop pool and cocktail bar. You can view the Sagrada Familia and Other Gaudi buildings from the roof, too. The spa is also incredible and very zen. I think we were the only people in it. Hotel food also amazing as it is ran by a local Michelin starred chef. Slightly pricey but worth a go on one evening. Genuinely one of the best hotels I've stayed in.... Enough said!

Great hotel and close to the action

Had a great stay , rooftop bar and pool area great spent afternoon and late evenings enjoying the atmosphere bonus was Sting was in the bar one night. Hotel was close to all the designer shops and close to the metro.

Good location but uncomfortable rooms

The room disposition is uncomfortable. Noises could be easily heard from one room to another. Car noises heard a lot in Lower floors facing the road. The hotel staff was very helpful changing the room for us to a garden view hotel but we were still disturbed by the other noises and poor disposition. Staff are very helpful though
