The room was nice, bathroom not very private due to sliding door. I had inquired about a late checkout at my reservation. I received an email stating that would be noted and was available. At check in I was told it would 40 extra euros. Would have been nice to have explained that in the email.

Je ne conseil pas cet hôtel aux français. Personne ne parle un mots de français . À la tv il y’a des chaînes pour les anglais et les allemands mais rien pour les français. Et je trouve honteux que quand l on réserve une chambre pour 3 personnes on nous demande de rajouter 40€ par nuit pour un simple lit pliant à ce tarif je l ai largement payer le lit !!! Et à woerden après 18h il n’y a plus rien à faire tout est fermé donc pas de tv et rien a faire aux alentours vive l ennuie. Donc rien ne justifie de tel tarifs .

The hotel is really nice and well maintained. The service in the restaurant is very poor. Good luck with getting any attention. Due to lack of attention no further drinks were ordered the ones that were we had to re request as they didn't arrive and we were not asked if we wanted dessert. So gave up.

We liked the walkable small town feel of Woerden. Town was still had great options for dining and shopping and a train station to go anywhere for the day.

Most friendly hotel - staff were fantastic! Restaurant for breakfast & dinner were fantastic. The manager made room for us on King's Day for dinner for 8 people with no reservations. Terrific meal! We were pleasantly surprised with Woerden as well - beautiful town with great restaurants & friendly people!

Leuk hotel met fijne sfeervolle kamers
2e keer in dit hotel. Ook al eens eerder een nachtje cadeau gedaan aan mijn ouders. De kamers zijn heel sfeervol en eens wat anders dan de gemiddelde standaard hotelkamer. Dit keer kamer 17. Een kamer waar je met ladder naar de vide kan, alwaar loungekussens liggen. Heel leuk. Vorige keer een wat grotere, rode kamer in de hoek, was ook geweldig. Parkeren kan schuin aan de overkant in de garage, niet duur. Ontbijt was ook heerlijk.

The hotel is beautiful on the inside and out. It is an old armory converted into a hotel and cafe a few years ago. The interior design is done with a lot of love and attention to detail. The hotel staff seem to be very dedicated and professional and accommodating and attentive to the needs of their guests. We felt very welcome! The rooms are gorgeous! And the breakfast buffet is a gorgeous with homemade salami, ham, gravlax, breads, cakes, and more! We would love to stay here next time we are in the area to visit friends and family.

Amazing stay amazing hotel amazing staff, there was only still a used razor blade with hairs next to the bathtub in the middle of the room which felt really unpleasant when in the bath and discovering it next to you. For the rest amazing stay!

I found this hotel online while looking for a close stay to a festival we were attending. The hotel is fantastic! The staff are welcoming, cheerful and very friendly. Our room was beautiful. The walls were a dusty rose colour with huge wooden beams running through the ceiling and down the walls. There was a large two person tub in the middle of the room which made for relaxing nights. The washroom was well appointed with luxurious soaps, lotions and cleansers and there was a skylight in the room for added ambiance. Breakfast was in the main dining hall each morning. It was like walking in to a ballroom complete with classical music and great art on the walls...and the food was exceptional. I would definitely recommend this hotel. I will stay here any time I'm in or around Amsterdam.

Nice local standards hotel with very friendly staff & nice restaurant + bar. Rooms a little quirky as despite a high ceiling, wooden beams throughout were low & as I am over 1.8m tall, I had to watch my head ;)Room a little too dark for me also, I prefer a well lit room so I can work or do simple things like \"see what I am doing\" Breakfast was not to my liking, as a simple serve yourself coffee machine imo is key & having to find someone to get me a coffee was ok, just not what I prefer. I had food here for dinner & that was excellent, bar service was very good, but I was put off with breakfast & after only 1 coffee, I checked out. Despite all this, location was good for what I wanted & would'nt hesitate to stay here again, nice hotel.

Great Hotel... lovely beds and linens, with all mod cons in this new conversion of the delightful old \"Arsenal\" building right in the town center. There are still a few minor teething problems like the automatic lights in the en-suite that come on when you roll over in bed at 2 in the morning if you don't close the door. Staff are very friendly, restaurant is very good with delightful al fresco seating in the main square. Breakfast features a full range of items including sausages, bacon, omelettes and even soft boiled eggs - you still have to make your own soldiers.

Heel aardig personeel. Kosten noch moeite zijn gespaard om van een ëuwen oud gebouw een prachtig aangekleed hotel/restaurant van te maken. Schitterend alle oude balken in zicht. Mooie kamer met veel attributen. Aan alles is gedacht. Midden in het gebouw is een groot atrium waardoor veel licht naar binnen komt.
