I could tell it was an older hotel. Paint chipped in a couple spots. Elevator was a little slow. But the room was clean. Staff was friendly and my kids loved the water slide inside with the pool.

The room itself appears clean but the tub was duct taped and the shower did not work. The water that was coming out of the faucet from the tub came out cloudy and there was moss in the tub after. The indoor pool water was gray and there was mold everywhere.
We let the man at the counter know we were displeased and he did not seem too concerned. We left early. Our trip ended a day early due to the conditions.
Very disappointed and would not recommend staying until the department of health can inspect and they make repairs

There was mold on the ceilings and in the bathroom. A hole in the wall. One light work out of two. No chain lock on doors so housekeeping came right in. No do not disturb sign. The jacuzzi leaked thru the wall to the carpeting on the inside of the bedroom.it was soaked.

Great location. The bed to me was amazing. The room was ok only because the bed was comfy. If they would just clean and update this place to be as appealing as it is on the outside it would be a must to come back again. Curtains dirty, bathroom so dirty, sink was so slow to drain, no housekeeping, no phone in room, the pool was the main reason I wanted to book and to say the photos online vs what the area actually was like is night and day. So much mold, things growing on the walls, water cloudy, rust stains and rotting wood. Just a very overall outdated hotel that needs so much maintenance it’s not even worth the cheap price. Just pay the extra couple dollars for a place that is much cleaner.

The room was clean. I was surprised and disappointed that there were no chairs, not even one. No table. One small drawer for clothes and inadequate space to hang clothes or store our belongings without putting everything in the floor. Other than that everything was just fine.

It was clean, but very minimal. Plenty of room within the room, but for example the coffee maker was in the bathroom because it was the only place for it to sit. Has been updated in regards to bed, carpet. The room next to you affects your water pressure, water temperature, and lighting. When the room next to us turned their light on it surged ours and make the dimmer (you could hear their light switch cut on and off)

Great location. Walking distance of a lot of attractions. Pool is small and I didn't see a hot tub. Our room Bathroom needed updating. Otherwise service was very nice and room was comfortable for the price. I'd stay again next time I'm in the area.

it was the fact that you, the website, misrepresented was the amenites were at the location. You advertised a suite, it didn't even have a room partition! I was so disappointed I left a day early. And the resort told me the problem was recurring and it was your fault. And you didn't resolve the problem. I hope whoever reads this feels bad about their position in this company and rethink their life choices. Benefit society. This does nothing to benefit humanity. Rethink you life. Be blessed.

The room felt neglected. We had to change rooms because the door lock stoped working. The first room had a bad smell and the tolet was really loud. The closest rack was commimg out of the wall. The second room was better but the clothes rack was messed us there also.
Not my room but a family member at the se hotel had to change rooms becpuse of roaches.
I usually dont leave negative revers but i wont stay here agin.

Was a good stay for a quick last minnie night trip to Pigeon Forge. Room bedsing was updated but nothing else was. Floors def need updating. Wet outside the bathroom door in front of the sink area the whole time we were there. Had issues with remote from the start. Was fixed to where we could change channels but could not adjust the volume or turn off so we just had to unplug the tv. There was also a dried up booger on the curtain. Overall not terrible for a last minute one night stay but def wouldnt stay longer.

The 2 rooms was nasty, they both had human hair in the bathtubs and bathroom floor, one room had crumbs in the bed, the pool was green, the front desk lady was rud and showed no concern are help with any of my complaints. One of my rooms was on the 3rd floor of the back side of building, the other room was on the 2nd floor on the front side enabling us to share the time we had. The vanity mirror in one of the rooms had hair all over the mirror above the sink. It is by far the nasty place I've ever stayed in and i travel there at least 4 times a yr

My first trip to pigeon forge in 1995 i stayed in River Chase lodge during the week $18. Night. It was incredible then and incredible now.
Staff was courteous, checkin 5 minutes, coffee in lobby fresh n hot, room was very nice,.pool awesome, weather 60 degrees, occasional sprnkle rain, Lotta traffic, Christmas lights Pigeon forge and Gatlinburg beutiful. Snow crab 🦀 Captain Jim's seafood yummy. Everything was Wonderful. Thank you Jesus for our trip and all blessings and God Please Bless America Again ✝️ 🇺🇸

Years ago this hotel was amazing, not any longer. The room was filthy and smelled like body odor. Tje tub faucet fell off. The second room we were given had roaches and both rooms had pillows that smelled used. The pool was nasty green color. So that was a no go.

Got there and there was a squatter in the room and they had to run them out. Didn’t offer to put us in another room and made us wait to check in and rushed to clean the room in 30 minutes after we checked in. Get into the room and there were two bathroom. One whole bathroom was basically inhabitable there was a urinal in the bathroom with a black trash bag over it and out of order sign hung on it. Then the faucet for the bathtub was almost broken off and would just swing around and appeared like it had never been cleaned. Then the tv in the bedroom didn’t even work

It is a nice 2.5 star hotel. It’s very very dated. Service was quick and friendly. The room was a basic room. You had a tv and beds. No luggage rack to store suitcase so we had to just lay it on the floor. The inside pool was in terrible condition. My son who loves to swim on every trip didn’t want to swim in the indoor pool (nor would we let him).

The customer service was amazing. Candace was at the front desk. She was very helpful. We were there with our grandson and she gave us several nearby places to take him to and was telling us about the pool and how popular the pool is with the kids so we plan time for that too. She was just really helpful and sweet! Good customer service is hard to come by these days and she was amazing!

The room is seriously outdated and in dire need of repairs. The only thing clean was the bed. Thank goodness for that or I would not have stayed. The pool was so dirty/cloudy that you couldn’t see the bottom. I did not get in. Overall I would not stay again. The lady at the desk was very nice

Richard is very rude and hateful. He used words that shouldn't be repeated. I was lied to when i called and asked about what room type i booked then was screamed at when i got to the property and asked why i wasn't in the correct room. It was never fixed he blamed it all on expedia. I called expedia and they called and spoke with Richard and said that he called her names also and screamed at them. Riverchase would not give me anyone i could call or a way to speak to management. Richard is giving Riverchase a bad name!!

The room was clean. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and we didn’t sleep well at all and I left with back pain from it. Pillows were really flat. Staff was very nice and the location was very convenient. Highlight of the trip was leaving the pool area and being met with raccoons on the stairs. They apparently live above the guest balcony. Another thing my husband mentioned was the lack of the mini shampoo in the bathroom. The lodge was very welcoming.

I went out and purchased cleaning wipes and spray to clean the bathroom. The outside was not kept up very well. Someone was knocking on our door after we went to bed. We do not have pets so that was not an issue. Staff at the front desk were friendly.

We chose this property because it was close to the things we wanted to do. It also had an indoor pool with a waterslide, so the kids were excited. What we didn't expect was an unclean bathroom. There was hair left behind in the tub, so it's clear they didn't clean. I'm not sure what else they didn't clean, but everything felt icky after we discovered the hair. Being on a main road was noisy, but we expected this somewhat. The indoor pool water was cloudy. We could not clearly see the bottom of the pool in 3-4 feet of water. The front desk manager said a filter wasn't working properly and they had a maintenance request in, but assured me the water was safe to swim in. We left after the first day and got a refund for the rest of our stay. We just couldn't get past the uncleanliness.

Looks like the pictures was taken 20 years ago. It’s dirty. Clearly hasn’t been clean right in years. Bed is uncomfortable. Ac don’t work well. Didn’t stay the second night because of how just nasty is was and they refused to give me any of my money back.

First room smelled of urine and had roaches, 2nd roomed had unfinished work in the bathroom and loose trimming on flooring and I can go on. The toilet seats are so worn out and stained. I can’t believe rooms are being offered with these types of problems. This is my first review ever and I’m not happy.
