The pictures on here do not look like the property. The nice pool pictured is attached to the red building next door. There was a man standing next to our room & didnt feel safe. The room was not in a red building as pictured but a room that smelled like they washed top to bottom with bleach to the point our throats was burning & coughing. Hair also on the bed. The office staff was nice but decided after the bleach smell was there all day we needed to cut trip short & leave the same day.

Elevators stunk bad! You have to pay .25 for ice out of the ice machines.. not enough chairs by outside pool. Breakfast was the best we have seen in long while. Our balcony had an empty cup with cigarette butts in it and our room smelled of nasty cigarettes and body odor. Plus is it’s in the heart of the shopping centers and close to a gas station

The room was clean and stocked. The door handle on the joining room was broken, the bathroom had holes in the drywall, loose toilet seat, trash can was broken with sharp edges, the dining table was too small, our room was in the front of the building so we heard the traffic noise all day and way until the night, the elevators worked fine but smelled terrible we had to hold our breath until we got some Febreze on the walls and floors. It helped some but it didn’t last long enough, the is the first place I have ever stayed at that charged you for ice, and the breakfast was ok but it was the same thing every day. The pools were good and the hot tub, outside fire pit was perfect nice rocking chairs, the fireplace in the room was excellent. Our parking garage was very nice and out of the weather. The staff didn’t really acted like they gave a crap about us anytime I had interaction with them it’s like I wasn’t even there talking to them. If I had known that this is the way it was going to be, I would’ve never stayed there. Now some of the people that was staying there were nice. I guess the best thing about the entire stay is it was in the middle of town.

Most people just overlook the negative review because they think the person writing it had a beef with the motel or some axe to grind and they miss the real truth. Well in this case take the time to really hear what is being said. This lodge was the most unfriendly dirty and untruthful places we have ever stayed. We asked for an accessible room were told “we got you covered”. The only thing accessible about it was the doorway to the bathroom. . Not one bar on the walls to assist in the shower or the toilet. Floor was wet like someone spilled a gallon of water. We dried it with one of the only two ‘hand towels’ in the bathroom. An hour later it was totally wet again. 6 feet outside our door was the pool and the humidity from it was filling the room. Sheets & floors were wet, there was constant steam on the windows and tv. Then to add insult to injury the accessible rooms bed was 3 feet high. My handicapped wife needed to sleep in the arm chair because she could not climb up on the bed. That is only part of the story. . Concerning the unfriendliness, the next morning some guy comes to the door and pounds on it and says, “we need to clean the room” We had it booked for two nights and this was the second day. At that point we checked out lost our second day and after 4 messages, no response. Stay here??? I think not.

I stayed at Vacation Lodge June 7-12, 2026. When l walked in the room it smelled like bleach (which said to me it was clean). The first thing l did before bringing anything in was to check for bedbugs. Did not find evidence of any! Then l noticed the furniture was new and the bathroom tub/shower was new. There was a hair in the tub/shower, not that big of a deal. The toilet looked clean at first glance, but thankfully l bring Lysol wipes with me, so l recleaned the toilet lifting the lid, which was not as clean as l would like it. Then l proceeded to go ahead and wipe down the sink, which wasn’t as clean as it looked and countertop. Then l went ahead and wiped down ALL the surfaces of all the furniture. I checked the microwave and mini fridge and they were clean but wiped them down as well. Then upon spilling some water on the floor and l wiped it up with the paper towels l brought, the floor was disgustingly dirty (the paper towel was black). Thankfully l NEVER take off my shoes when in ANY hotel while walking around. I take my shoes off when l go to lay down or sit on the bed. The walls were all marked up and scuffed, they have not been painted in a loooong time, as well as the doors. I could handle that but it doesn’t cost much money to paint. Throughout my stay, l did NOT see any bugs! That made me very happy. Except 1 earwig bug and 2 flying ants. Overall it was clean, bug free, and l would stay again, bringing my own cleaning supplies again.

Room was clean, however, the bathroom door wouldn’t shut and was very tiny. Our balcony that we paid extra for was a shared balcony with guests staying next door. Luckily they weren’t outside when we were. The breakfast was not great either. I’ve had much better at other hotels. The biggest disappointment was the indoor pool hours! It’s only open from 11:30 am to 10:00 pm so we didn’t even get to use it. I guess I should have checked the hours before changing our booking to this hotel and paying $50 more to stay here instead of a different one down the street. Also, our room was on the backside of hotel so it seemed a little sketchy especially at night. Spend a little more and stay somewhere else!

Yes, we have a toddler that is still in diapers, but she wears a much bigger diaper. If we needed something, they we right on it. I would recommend this place to anyone needing something small that has 2 pools. The kids loved it. Although the indoor heated pool was not actually heated to me.

If you want something quick I guess it was OK but I like it nice breakfast with either bacon sausage, eggs, biscuit, and gravy

I had a “ suite “ with no balcony, my room was missing 4 light bulbs, went down to ask for light bulbs. Room ran out of toilet paper so had to go down and get that also. Not enough towels to shower, went down to ask for some & told we needed to call down for them? Had to wait for house keeping to bring them.

We stay here every time we vacation here, this was a very odd visit. We never have issues like this.
