Clean rooms and facilities. Good breakfast and loved the pools.
Kelly
Everything was great except the last day one of the elevators was broke... but it worked out ok
Erin
No 24 hour gym. Just a sucky hotel. Staff were nice but not over involved. Nothing actually wrong with the place, just a cheap hotel. Rooms are small and bedding isnt super comfortable. If you dont mind these things then no worries.
Donald
Great! Room are small but fine. Breakfast was real good for hotels. Love the top roof deck!
Brandon
It is now a name of a hotel we will look for on our other travels
Kailyn
Location was great! Close to Dollywood and the island! Pool was outstanding! Great for my 3yr old and 5yr old! Breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfast we’ve experienced!
Juan
I definetly recommend an early check in if your going in the summer
Sherrie
Hotel was very nice and clean, but thought it was closer to the Island, so that's misleading in their description, as it read it was walking distance. To far to walk.
Gerald
The hotel room was small but clean. They needed an alarm clock and more countertops. The bath was clean but the shower leaked over 1/3 of the floor when in use. My husband mentioned the problem to the from desk and was told that it would be addressed but never was.
Angela
For the most part, it's a nice little hotel. It is clean and every staff member we encountered was extremely pleasant. The problems I had were the size of the room. It was a king room and it was tiny. No dressers, no closet. Fine for a day or two but for close to a full week, it felt tight and cluttered with no where to put our things. The wifi left a lot to be desired as well. The 5G was spotty due to mountains I suppose, or I wouldn't even use wifi. Phone kept dropping off the wifi constantly, it was killing my battery quickly constantly searching for it. It's not a problem I've ever had with this phone. Breakfast was ok, not much variety and the egg option always seemed overcooked and the meat option (sausage or bacon depending on the day) was always slightly undercooked. Again, not a bad stay, just a few little things that could have been better.
Jeff
Clean room!
Wakili
Nice clean room
JAMES
It is a minimalist property, no luxury, a European style, not a fan of this. Also one of the elevators was broken for two days, and still down when we left.
Breakfast was ok, because they had great waffles, but then one of the waffle makers broke down, so long line. Holiday Inn Expresss or Hampton Inn has better breakfast.

Cost of room raises expectations and we were disappointed. Pillows so worn they could be folded in half. Staff was helpful and gave us two more pillows when we asked. The air unit is so loud you couldn’t sleep. We did not feel rested at all. Breakfast was great the first morning of our stay. Scrambled eggs and bacon. But second morning, the omelets were so hard you couldnt eat them. Weve stayed at Tru several times and we were truly disappointed this time.
Glenn
Room was clean. Shower leaked into the floor. Cleaning and breakfast staff were friendly and nice. Front desk, the ones meeting guests, could have a pep talk and learn to speak up. ( I’m a bit deaf)
Grounds were well maintained. Didn’t use the pool. Maybe if I had kids I might think differently but no real WOW factor. Kinda basic really. Not being mean, just honest. Do your research. Read reviews. My daughter chose this place. I wouldn’t. But that’s just my opinion.

Great staff and very helpful. Rooms are a little small but great experience
Sherri
Tru was an excellent place to stay for my grandson's baseball tournament at Ripken field. It was a clean place with a great pool and yummy breakfast! I'd definitely stay here again.

Patricia
Nice place but there are no frills at all. No dresser only a very short pole to hang your few clothes on. The shower drenched the bathroom floor Every time because there was nothing to stop it. I really like their sister hotel Home 2 suites next door, thinking it was the same or similar I opted to try it. I will not again if I’m staying more than a night . Great for a short stay. Do not get an adjoining room or you will hear every word the neighbor is saying.
Stephanie
The room did need some repairs. The hotel over all was very clean and everyone was friendly.
Jessica
The room was clean, but the mattress and shower were worn down. Front desk clerk upon check in was a bit rude. Breakfast was good.
Ben
There were a few issues; my room wasn't ready after 4, but i had other things to do.
The bath fan didn't work;
Shower curtain needed to be longer, it allowed water on the floor almost to the sink;
The wall cover was peeled away at a couple of places.
I was in room 222

Everything was excellent
Joyce
The wallpaper in the bathroom had a big area not glued to the wall so it looked tacky. The toilet took a long time to refill. Other than that it was great
Constance
This is our fourth stay at this hotel and everything is excellent. The staff is friendly. The rooms are clean. They have a breakfast buffet. That’s nice parking is great. The hotel is well located once you park you can walk to everything.
Natasha
This is a beautiful, well-maintained hotel in a great central location, making it easy to get everywhere. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The only downside for me was the bedding—the covers weren’t very comfortable. I tend to prefer soft, warm blankets, which this hotel didn’t quite offer. All in all we had a great stay.
Kristan
Very nice place good location!! Would be nice if rooms had microwaves
Alexander
Good location and hotel was nice.
Edmond
Need more variety for breakfast. Staff is excellent and the hotel is great for families. A lot of indoor activities
Susri
Very clean rooms, staff were great. Breakfast was amazing. Definitely recommend this place.
Deonda
Breakfast every morning was amazing. My daughter and her friend loved the pool. The room was a little small and that may have been my doing when booking the room, but it accommodated us well.

We liked everything about this hotel. We would stay here again
Ashley
It was clean , staff was great, parking was good. I booked a 2 queen bed room but got a 2 double bed room.
Heather
The front desk staff was amazing, the hotel was clean. The location was off the main road, but close to everything. It sat behind The Island. It was perfect location. The hotel pool was a great addition.

Staff omg they were absolutely the best. Front desk made it so easy and comfy to be there!
Andrew B
Location is really nice as it is very walkable to the Island center. The hotel rooms are smaller in size than photo show it and For the most part the staff is nice and helpful, however when my family and I arrived at the hotel after traveling 10 hours of driving and to be told it is not 4:30pm you cannot get in your room. We arrived at the hotel at 1:30pm so we were not asking to be able to get in the room 5 to 8 hours prior to 4;30pm and the desk clerk had an attitude. Yes I was tired from driving but if the desk clerk would have showed an ounce of empathy it would be different and the rating would be different but since our stay started out poor the overall satisfaction was the reason for a poor rating.

The staff were great. It was clean. Location was perfect for the things we were doing. My only complaint would be the bed was extremely firm. I would not recommend for someone who needs a plush bed.
Teresa
Staff was great, rooms were very clean and comfortable. Parking was close and easy. Breakfast was very good.
Jeff
Clean rooms and lobby/breakfast area. Great location close to all major attractions. Pet friendly is a plus.
Elizabeth
Nice reasonable hotel in Pigeon Forge! No frills, clean and comfy but not high class hotel! Perfect for budge minded people! Breakfast was okay …no sweets ( donuts or pastries) and no juice other than orange!
Joe
The quality for the price is great
Chris
Nice clean
Kimberly
Clean and neat. Friendly staff.
Tracie
Clean room, great staff, extremely friendly
Jessica
Stayed for 2 nights with family. Kids loved the pool!!
Piper
Staff were attentive, hotel lobby was more clean than last year when I stayed at Tru here. Love that there’s a Peloton in fitness room!! 💕💕💕 Breakfast could have healthier choices !! The plants at front door really need attn….several trees were dying! Parking was well lit—-but my sister met me from her home in Murfreesboro so we had 2 cars, but couldn’t get 2 parking passes?!!! We had to park her car at my daughter’s RV Park ….pretty silly!!
Janet
Room was very clean, staff was very helpful. Very nice lobby area.
Amy
One elevator was down the whole time. The breakfast server was very rude to my mom!
Shower leaked into puddle on the floor and wallpaper was coming off the wall.
Most of the staff was really nice except for the breakfast lady!

Susan
Nice staff, small room with no bedside lighting. Breakfast was great. Good location & good value.
Khankham
Everything was great! The breakfast was very good! The only negative was the shower. The inside of the shower was very slippery. My toddler slipped on it and hit her head so we had to lay down a couple of wash clothes in the shower so she wouldnt fall again.
michael

We loved it.

Was very clean, comfortable beds, great location and very friendly staff. We would definitely stay here again.
Allison
The property is very clean and nice, but the rooms are smaller than average, too tight, and we really don't like all of the bright colors. I don't mind bright colors, but not for decor everywhere. It looks more childish than nice and sophisticated.
Iliana
Breakfast was delicious
Jessica
Clean rooms, good breakfast and great location.
Barbara
The bed could have been more comfortable. And it was an adjoining room with the door. The people on the other side was so noisy and loud. Not sure if I would stay again or not.
Joyce
Very nice, a little noisy..people upstairs woke us up first morning when they dropped something on the floor above us. Over all good stay!
Kelly
