There was coffee packets with a plastic water cup, no coffee maker or coffee cups, the bed frame stuck out about 3 or 4 inches from the mattresses which I hit my ankle on. The shower curtain rod rusted, smoke alarm missing, door was very difficult to open security lock on door broken off, no staff at front desk when we arrived, then asked for a credit card to pay an unknown security deposit if $75. No directions as to where the room was located which happened to be in the rear of the building. Curtain rod was broken on the right side. Tv said connected to internet but wouldn't respond so couldn't use. And no wifi password information given. Staff were taking personal calls on their phones during check in process

This location has no manager, they have disconnected the phone lines to the property. Pure and utter filth is an understatement. We made the mistake of staying 1 of the 5 nights we booked and paid for. On day 2 the health dept arrived and condemned the pool and forced it to be closed. They should have condemned the entire property! When I asked for a refund, they said only a manager can do that and there isn't a manager anymore? When Hotels.com attempted to process my refund they would not do so because they could not get anyone to answer at the property. I informed Hotels.com that the phone lines are literally permanently disconnected to the hotel, they still refused to refund our money. If this hotel was free to stay in, only crack heads and homeless people would appreciate the free nights stay.

We had to change room twice due to toilet flooding in one room and other room was not ready to occupy, it seemed that someone was already occupying it. Smoking smell in entire property is terrible. Phones in the rooms are not working and their reception phone was dead so you can't call for any issue. I wouldn't recommend it to families.

The room was not clean carpet falling off the wall. The staff gave attitude when you had a question or concerns the air conditioner barely worked. They ran out of parking especially over a holiday weekend. They will change the dates on you for your check out. They had cockroaches. Wouldn’t give you ice until after 12 and then you had to go to the office to get it and they only give you a couple cups fulls. Other customers were complaining and they used the excuse they were drunk and the hallways didn’t have any lighting.

As we were waiting in the lobby and group of teens rented a room with no id. The guy took cash. All night people yelling and walking around all night long. We got out of there as fast as we could

Booked online it never said anything about an extra $75 deposit upon arriving once we got there they wouldn't take my card to pay deposit finally after transferring money I was able to get the room and me and at least 3 other guest was having a lot of issues try to get in our rooms and once inside on the back of door the deadbolt was broken and 4 AA batteries was just hanging in there

Do not book a room here if you try to cancel 2 minutes after you accidentally booked the room you will be charged for the entire stay and never even step foot on the property and there is no help from anyone accidentally booked my stay on expedia the first agent just left the chat the second one acted like he did all he could then proceed to tell me I had to wait 3 days before hotel decides what they want to do then 10 minutes later im charged for American Airlines didn't book anything with an airline but ok then so I try calling all weekend no answer from expedia or the hotel by the time Sunday arrives I got in touch with another agent in chat to be told there is no cancelation regardless of your situation so expedia dose not value there customers they only value their clients they are there to make sure you cant canel and if you try they tell you that you have to wait the time your stay is for so they hotel can get paid full price for a room you never intend to stay in

I was really disappointed with my stay at Americana Inn, a Travelodge by Wyndham. The first room we were given wasn’t even clean, and the staff didn’t seem to realize it until we pointed it out. Once they saw the condition of the room, they quickly moved us to another one.

Unfortunately, the second room still had several issues, and overall the hotel didn’t feel very clean. On top of that, the staff wasn’t helpful or accommodating whenever we had concerns, which made the stay even more frustrating.

It also seemed like rooms weren’t being turned over very efficiently. We were told there were no rooms available, yet after the issue with our first room, another room was suddenly found for us. That left us questioning how well the rooms were being managed and prepared for guests.

The only positive thing I can say is that the pool was nice and well-kept. Other than that, the cleanliness, room condition, and customer service left a lot to be desired. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to others.

The room was ok but needs updated. The beds were clean but the blanket had cigarette burn in them. The pool area could have been better taken care of. Parking was great. We were there for the 4th of July weekend and people were up till three or four in the morning, hollering and being loud. This hotel would be great for the young folks that like to stay up late or party. I understand staying up late and having a good time but after midnight or 1 am you should try to be a little more respectful to others staying, that want to sleep at night and have younger kids trying to sleep.

The absolute worst property, nasty, upon check in there were lines of complaints, thought it was one of those days but quickly realized it was just the property. Staff tried their best, even said that the owners practically abandoned the hotel. No policy, no regulations, cops were called at 1am for kids and families going wild in the pool disturbing the entire guests. Had guest switch multiple rooms due to something failing. Just disappointing. Location was great just wish the owners did something with this and maybe their investment will benefit them more than they know.

I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, the condition of my room and the overall experience were completely unacceptable.

When I arrived, the air conditioning was not working, making the room extremely uncomfortable. In addition, the door lock did not function properly, which made me feel unsafe during my stay.

To make matters worse, there was a strong smell of marijuana throughout the area, and guests were openly smoking it nearby. This created an unpleasant environment and raised concerns about the safety and quality of the property.

To start off with we were checked into a room that had not even been cleaned from the previous people. When we entered our second room, you could smell the cleaning chemicals, so it had been cleaned. But, my wife went to use the restroom and there was a cockroach running around on the toilet. I understand that an occasional roach is going to pop up when you’re in a large facility like that. But, the entire facility was very disgusting from the get-go. We went to the Island, which is why we chose this hotel because it was within walking distance to do some shopping and just walking around and when returning to the room that evening and getting ready to go to bed, we noticed a bug on the pillow. Aafter doing some Google researching, found out that it was in fact a bedbug. We packed our things around 11:00 at night and found another location in town to stay. I 100% would not recommend this hotel and it honestly should not even be allowed to operate. I don’t do this lightly as I am in sales and rely a lot on Google reviews, but this was completely unacceptable.

I really hate to give a bad review, but this place was the worst place I have ever stayed in my life! It is VERY DIRY AND OUT OF DATE... The staff were VERY RUDE!! The curtains were hanging off the rods and we had to tie them up! The air conditioner was propped up with a 2x4! They would not clean daily! They would not give you towels and wash clothes daily! They would not give a refund or I would have been staying somewhere else for sure!!!! It looked really nice onIine, but when we got there and seen the place we were like, OH LORD!!! As I pulled in I saw the grounds looked horrible. High grass everywhere. Should have been my first clue to leave. Walked in to check in clue two hit me like a ton of bricks. The smell of the office was not pleasant. Checked in directions where to park and how to find the elevator was useless. Walked into the room and used the restroom and walked back out and went and found a different place to stay. Most expensive bathroom break ever.

Was looking for a cheap place to stay and knew it wouldn't be nice but this hotel is severely ran down. There are mattresses piled up out back and broken chairs along with everything else. I rented 2 rooms here and the one room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke and the AC barely worked, there is about a 1/4\" of space between the door and its jam that you can see outside in both of the rooms, found 4 roaches in one room right before we left. I would highly suggest not staying here even for the budget minded.

Nothing good to say about this experience. Place was run down and filthy . Bed had dead bed bugs in the floor with cigarette ashes, smelled like smoke , hair on the sheets. All of the property smelled awful either like garbage or drugs, beer cans laying everywhere, people sitting on steps, grass wasn’t mowed. The air conditioner was broken, there was literal FECES smeared on the wall, there was holes in the walls, the lock was busted off the door with a wooden block screwed into the door making it seem like the door had honestly been busted through. No microwave, smelled of mold and mildew. The pool was locked the entire time, no coffee in the lobby. Sheets were stained with blood stains. The staff seemed friendly at check in but were ultimately rude and did not help with any questions or anything afterwards. Trash all over the place, there were questionable people wandering all over the property, people screaming and fighting in the middle of the night slamming doors. Room was infested with roaches. Bath tub was disgusting. We tried to get a refund and we were denied the refund. We tried to at least transfer to another Wyndham property and were more than willing to pay the extra expenses if it cost more, and we were told no.

This was a vacation for my daughter's 11th birthday and we tried to stay away from the hotel as much as possible. We literally only stayed there to sleep. My kids were very disappointed about the pool being closed the entire time because that was one of the main reasons we booked this specific hotel because we were under the impression that it was open to swim in.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY.

I did not like anything about this hotel. Let's start by saying it was trashy. The room though was clean, the bed was the worst bed my boyfriend and I have ever slept on. No breakfast like it said no coffee maker in room. Water pressure was terrible. Toilet barley flushed. The pool was green the whole time we stayed. The ice maker was behind the front lobby desk so could only get ice when some one was there. It was so loud out side our door made sleeping even harder then it already was with the awful bed. I would never stay again and would advise others not to stay either.

I booked a room at Travelodge by Wyndham and had a very disappointing stay. I reserved a non-smoking room, but the room smelled strongly of smoke, which made it hard to settle in comfortably. The bathroom was also in poor condition: the door did not lock, there was no toilet paper holder, and there was no shower curtain, so water got everywhere and made it unpleasant for the next person to use.

The pool was full of algae, which showed very poor maintenance. Overall, the property felt neglected and did not meet basic cleanliness or upkeep standards.

Hotel really needs a deep cleaning. Elavator even had trash in overhead light, no inspection sticker. All patio furniture was broken and nasty. Could only get ice afer noon at desk. Wifi was awful if you could get it all. Had to move room because toilet wouldn't flush and they didn't even try to fix. No smoke dector in room and doors either hard to open if at all. Bathroom doors broken. I will say it was quiet and location was very good. Bed not bad. Couldn't watch TV due to wifi not working 90% of time. Staff when around was friendly but don't ask for anything after housecleaning or maintenance leaves because you won't get help. Pricing is very good if you can put up with the lack of everything else. I would think Wydam who owns the hotel would be ashamed of themselfs.

we were there for my birthday, we had 9 rooms and something was wrong with every room and they wouldn't even change our rooms, ac wasn't working, no locks, bathroom light not working, no remote for the tv, 1 of the tv was the size of a laptop. We advised them of these issues and they said they would fix it, nothing was fixed. this use to be our go to hotel when we were in town...never again, i understand they are cheaper but you still deserve better.

Microwave inside was flaked off, was afraid to use it. Beds were hard as a rock. Rooms were supposed to be newly remodeled and it looked like the slums. Supposed to be non smoking and the room smelled like cigarettes, bad. Supposed to have a hair dryer, not one. No ice machines, had to get it from office person, could not even get an ice bucket, gave it to you in a small trash bag. Supposed to have toiletries, that was a little bar of soap. No housekeeping the whole stay. Not even clean towels and wash cloths. It was the worst stay ever. Would not stay there again. Had to lysol and frebreeze everything. Very loud, was supposed to be sound proof rooms, Ha. Not even.some lights didn't have light bulbs and had wires hanging out. People yelling and loud vehicles all night. The phone in the room didn't even work, no dail tone. TV remote had batteries taped in , no back. Awful, Awful hotel.

The bathroom was ok, just did not have a tub stopper.

We informed front desk we had no remote for the tv. We got one from the front desk and could not get the tv to connect to the internet. Informed front desk. Man at desk said he’d come up and fix it. He never came and we got tired of asking.

Elevator def needs attention. Walls were really dirty and the flooring needs to be replaced. It’s peeling up. There was a bag in the corner that was there for our entire stay.

One small trash can in room.

There were very sketchy people all on the same side we were on. I felt very unsafe and would not go outside without my adult son.

We stayed here previously and I don’t remember all these problems. But this will be our last stay there.saving money on the night rate is not worth feeling unsafe

When I arrived, it was very dirty compared to the listing. Multiple piles of trash sitting around the property. Staff was rude when I arrived too. There were many rooms that were full of people who seemed to live at the establishment, leaving doors open, smoking, etc. When I got in my room, there were stains on the mattress, the lock didn’t work because the door cover kept falling off, and the shower was nasty. I left a day early and found another hotel because it was nasty and I didn’t feel safe.

It was reasonabley priced but, grass was grown up in front of hotel. The air was not cold. Pool looked nasty , I would not dare get in. The shower was greasy . The lady working the desk was never trained properly she even said it was her first day and she was alone clueless what to do and she called management and he said he would show up at 6pm and didn’t show til after 7pm. I tried checking in from check in time from 4pm and waited 2.5 hrs while an elder man has been having issues for 6 hrs he said he been switched to 3 rooms in a day cause of issues. Besides that mess the rooms were poorly taken care of I walked in the room and it’s smelt musky the bed look like someone just got out of it but was made and the tv was still on there was no towels shams soap nothing was available or if it was it was unusable. The air filter in bathroom says change every three months but it’s looked like it’s never been changed it had black mold ever where. So if possible don’t stay at Americana inn located in pigeon forge worst experience ever

The hotel was dirty and the room they put me in wasn’t clean and look like some was living in it. I didn’t even enter the room. They had a large pile of old mattresses and furniture outside just piled up against the building. I had to give them a 75$ security deposit when I showed up and had to ask for it back at first they said no. Then I told them I’m not staying here so they had to give it back to me. This was definitely the dirtiest place that I’ve seen as far as to book a room to stay in. Look like the head people living there with loads of trash in the hallway and also had clothesline in the hallway. The elevator was vandalized really bad.

I would not recommend staying at this hotel. I understand that for $50 on a Friday night you’re not going to get the Hilton but……. The entire place felt dirty and poorly maintained from the moment we arrived. The hotel had a strong smell of marijuana, which made it very uncomfortable. The bathroom door wouldn’t even shut properly, and the air conditioning was broken, making the room miserable.

The outdoor pool area was also disappointing — there were no lights on at night, which felt unsafe and made it unusable. The parking lot was another major issue, with people seemingly camping out in vehicles overnight. On top of that, there was trash scattered everywhere around the property.

Overall, this hotel was not clean, did not feel safe, and clearly lacks proper upkeep and management. Definitely not worth the money, and I would not stay here again, and with having small children I was terrified that something bad would happen.

The hotel was functional for sleeping. The beds felt like a board. When we arrived the bleach smell was so strong we had to open the door to air out. The toilet was slow to empty. You get what you pay for. It could definitely be updated.

The price and convenience of nearby activities is why we choose to stay here, because the actual rooms leave a bit to be desired. The air conditioner works, but we’d wake up sweating before it would kick on… or if we turned the temperature down just a tad, it wouldn’t seem to turn off and you’d have snotsicles. This, paired with the flat pillows, made a good night’s sleep difficult. It The tub in our room was quite literally on its last leg. It had 6 huge spots throughout that had been patched and the faucet was only attached to the wall by the piping. The fridge only kept items cool, not cold. Hopefully, it’s only this room that needs a little TLC, but probably not.

Arrived at check in time. No one at desk. Had to wait. Everything looked dirty, dingy, and run down. Grounds were not kept up. Huge pile of old chairs and mattresses out back. Opened our room and didn't even go in. Looked like a king-size mattress shoved in a corner closet. Nothing looked like the pictures. Didn't even bother to stay. I for sure want some sort of refund if possible.

We saw a dead cockroach and evidence of cockroaches. My husband used to be an exterminator. Parking was easy and convenient. The air conditioning worked.

Will not recommend this place to anyone. The property is poorly maintained, and the front desk staff is often unavailable. We had to change rooms three times due to multiple issues, yet none of the options were truly satisfactory. The rooms and overall property require significant improvements and better upkeep. The only positive aspect is the convenient location, as it is close to the island's attractions and allows easy walking access to nearby areas.

The outside was dark and there was a pile of mattresses and trash behind the hotel. When we walked in the room, the bed looked like it was slept in. There was no toilet seat or knobs in the shower. We checked back out and went to red roof across the street

Door didn’t lock,room was not sanitary,sketchy environment,cops were called twice to the hotel while I was there for some reason.we went to dollar general for cleaning supplies to clean the bathroom before we used it.seen a dead roach as soon as I walked into the lobby.grocery carts are stacked under the stairs from people.on the inside of our room door someone wrote “pls stay” with something,but it looked like it tried to get wiped off,I made sure to keep the lights low so my family didn’t see it and get scared.its not the staffs fault but management definitely should step in and do something

Took an extra $75 damage deposit upon checkin, not mentioned in booking. The entire hotel seemed damaged, big pile of hotel furniture around parking lot. The room smelled upon entering... The floor left your feet black as if you walked across black top. The mattress was maybe 4 inches thick. The pillows were the size of throw pillows. Damaged door lock. The breakfast was coffee.

Save yourself a headache and aggravation and book anywhere but this hotel. They stole my security deposit and completed the transaction through my bank instead of releasing the hold like they promised they would. I did not even stay in the room because it was so severely infested with German roaches. It was not safe for my children nor myself by the time I went to the front desk, they were closed and no one answered the 754 area code phone number that was posted at the door. Homeless were wandering around, drug addicts, scattering the parking lot and scavenging through their vehicles at midnight, police out front and all around the back of the building dealing with issues. This place is a dump, filthy and infested with roaches and they steal your money. They do not answer the phone. I have filed a complaint with corporate and still have not even gotten an email confirmation on my concerns.

Room doesnt give a very clean feeling. Bathroom fan was broken, dust caked, and cover popped off. There was a light out for the sink area, and the shower curtain was just placed in a square that was cut into the wall so it was a little sketchy to pull the curtain closed. There was also a giant stack of old chairs and beds out back of the building.
Parking was accommodating, and the pool looked to be in working order. Allows early check in for a $20 fee if you need that kind of thing and checkout is super easy. Good place if you just need somewhere to sleep that’s cheap
