Room was very clean. Great location, short walk to Island, crime museum and comedy barn. Pool was awesome. The only complaint would be parking was a little troublesome. Didn't always have parking close to our room but, was able to adjust without too much difficulty. Over-all experience was good and I would book here again.

Hotel is a great central location on the strip. They do not have enough parking for the amount of rooms for their hotel though. Rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable. However, I won't be back. Each door to each room has door puller on them. The doors slam shut every time you open them. So all night and early morning all you can do is hear doors slamming. The doors also are so heavy feeling and close so fast they will hit you as you are trying to get in the room. My mother came by as they stayed in a different hotel and the door almost knocked her down and did bruise her. A kid would very easily be hurt by these doors and it makes it very difficult to sleep. Honestly other than that the hotel is great and I would stay there often. This was my 2nd stay at the Wayback and I was hoping maybe they had changed the doors but I don't think that is going to happen. Staff was nice enough. Hotel clean. Pool looked nice.Breakfsst tasted great. We had breakfast vouchers so that was nice. If you don't get vouchers, the breakfast absolutely would not be worth the price with other options close by being better for the same price. Overall good hotel with terrible doors.

The outdoor area was so nice!
I really rated it low because there were about 50 teenagers at the hotel which was fine but they were screaming late at night and early in the morning and running up and down the halls. It made it hard to sleep and the staff didn’t say anything to make them stop.

We just stayed at the Wayback this past weekend. It was my daughter’s wedding and we had over 20 rooms. I can’t say enough about this hotel. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The pool was beautiful. The food was wonderful. We had a rehearsal party for over 60 people and the food and drinks were out of this world!!!!! Looooooved this hotel

The check in was fast and friendly, got our vouchers for breakfast. Parking was a little crazy. Not a very big parking lot for the hotel. We had to park all the way out by the road and walk back to our room. The room was nice, clean and big. But needs to be better sound proofing. Could hear EVERYTHING going on outside. Could see light coming through the crack in the door.

Location to \"the island\" was fantastic-after a day of traveling it was nice to walk across the street for entertainment/dinner. The beds were were extremely comfortable. The interaction with staff was great. The room was clean and comfortable-but, clearly lacked a deep clean. The pool area is super cute and spacious

Love the retro look! Plenty of space in the room with a couch, chair and wall bench! Spacious bathroom! Mini fridge. Love the pool area, cabana, igloos. Convenient location and walking distance to the island and entertainment. Love how they offer free breakfast and 2 drink vouchers for the bar!

I loved this hotel, to the point its now my go to for Pigeon Forge! Everyone was friendly, and although I cant confirm it, when I said I was waiting on a DoorDash order, I felt as though I was being kept an eye on (in a good way).

There was a pretty severe storm that went through, and I slept through it despite being on the top floor! That NEVER happens.

The only thing I didnt get to enjoy was my own fault. I didnt get to make use of the breakfast vouchers because I'm a night owl, and slept through breakfast hours!

Can't wait to come back!

We enjoyed booking the connecting rooms for more space and really loved how close the hotel was to everything! The aesthetic of the rooms was comfortable yet stylish and can’t beat the free made to order breakfast!!

The place is really cute and everyone is very nice! It’s comfy and cozy. Right across the road from the island. This was a quick walk to shops and dinner. The food and drinks were fantastic. I know this was an older hotel at one time- stayed here when I was young. They have done a lot of update. The road is pretty loud, as one would know, beside the parkway. The racetrack is right next door so that’s pretty loud as well. I will say that the bathroom looked like it had not been mopped in a good little bit- there were quite a few dirty spots on the floor. Overall- we will stay again, might just bring a swiffer for the floor to feel more comfortable. I would have expected better cleaning with this being a Marriott hotel

I booked two rooms. The shower of one room was not cleaned well. There was a lot of hard water residue on the floor of the shower. The next day the exterior door would not lock. The hotel was accommodating and moved both rooms to be side by side. The breakfast was absolutely delicious!

Stayed here last night and loved it!!! They actually had the holy trinity of pet friendly, a WORKING hot tub, and great reviews. Booked this place so fast and hoped for the best. We arrived late around 9pm and all of us got into the large and steamy hot tub and relaxed. Then we swam in the heated pool. Towels were still available and there was an indoor bar open til midnight where we had martinis. A very enjoyable 3 hours was had after our late and exhausted arrival!

Staff was super friendly, we loved everyone!!! Bar was great, restaurant was delicious, coffee was great, the rooms were so cool and well decorated and spacious. We had a keurig, a fridge (no freezer), really wonderful toiletries and a blow dryer.

There were elevators but also ramps if you didn’t want to wait. The hotel has exterior entrances and can be a little noisy in the morning as guests walk by but we couldn’t hear cars or anything like that on the road.

My only grumbles are that the shampoo and body wash were empty, the beds and bedding aren’t as nice as I’d like and the floors were pretty dirty. Could’ve used a more thorough refilling and mopping before we got in there but it wasn’t a big deal. The pet fee was a whopping $150 (!!!!!) but they cut it in half due to our short one-night stay. Our corgi was well behaved and enjoyed this hotel too :)

We have stayed in this area multiple times and this is the first hotel we would book again and stay at again. Top notch service and rooms!

The motel is very cute and the retro theme is fun! The rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly! There are MANY things nearby and they are easy to get to. Unfortunately, the wait for breakfast was too long and we only get breakfast for 2, but we are a family of 4, so it was not worth the wait to only feed half of our family. This is a cute place to stay!

Unfortunately, our room was on the side near the dumpster. We were woken up at 4 AM by the trash trucks banging down the trash cans.
For our family of five we did receive two breakfast coupons for a free breakfast. However, some items were out such as orange juice and sausage when I ordered, and the wait for food was longer than typical.

This hotel was in-front of the island of Pigeon Forge and had a rating of 4 star but the rooms my family stayed in were unkept. The elevator had some kind of bad lingering smell. My hotel room had mold in the bathroom. We also got vouchers for the breakfast and we had breakfast at Paloma Kitchen for 3 days and every day we had to wait 30 minutes or more just to be seated. Their service was bad especially when they added more tip after the tip we originally gave them. I hope in the future they can do better.

The restaurant has great food!! Recommend the caesar salad, it has a nice kick to it with homemade croutons. Nice looking rooms. I love that I was able to bring my pitbull as well. Very dog friendly, however, there wasn’t much grassy area for my dog to potty. It didn’t bother me much, as there was a small amount in the back of the building which worked and was still convenient.

Our room had bedbugs, when we checked the beds upon arrival. We immediately got out of the room. I was told the manager would call the next day, nope. The same gentleman that was at the front desk the night before ended up being the one to call to say I would be getting a refund, and proceeded to state that we were mistaken and that they \"bed bugs\" were coffee grounds!!!!!
How are there coffee grounds INSIDE a zipped up mattress cover? On BOTH sides of the bed? If there was an accident with \"coffee grounds\" why on both sides of the bed, and why would they be zipped up inside the cover? I was not going to write a negative review, because I understand people can bring them in, and it not be reflection on the hotel, however if I can see it with my eyes right off the bat entering the room, then there is piss poor cleaning happening. What sealed the deal was the manager not reaching out directly. We will not be returning.

Outdoor entry motel - not hotel. Misleading there too. It’s like the old motor lodges which went away because no one liked them.

Not great in any way. The check in is at the bar.

Didn't like the 100 dollars hold on my card.
There were 3 in my room and we only got 2 breakfast vouchers.
There wasn't a microwave in the room and the ice machine was located far away. Lastly, cwe told housekeeping that we didnt need our room cleaned, only towels and they came in while we were gone anyway. We got towels before we left to shop. It seemed very pricy, but the staff was very friendly.

Our bathroom wasn’t very clean and we were woken up early each morning by workers. Bummed because thought this could be our new favorite place to stay.

We went with our dogs, paid extra, and put in a room that had obviously had dogs before bec it wasn't clean, and then cleaning service made no effort to clean our room til 3rd day after i complained twice. I paid for my dogs to stay and i expect service for my money...The restaurant menu was more gourmet, ...seemed they forgot it was smokey mtns in Tennessee, not some cafe in Paris...keep it simple and serve straight up normal breakfast...

Breakfast was very good but it’s not your everyday stuff. If you have kids with you I don’t think most toddlers would eat much of it. Rooms wear very clean and well kept. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s right across from the island which made our trip very enjoyable. I think this would be a safe and family friendly place and great for parents that don’t want to load the kids up every time they need to go somewhere. Bar was also very good and prices are your normal vacation spot prices.

It’s wasn’t what I expected the rooms were okay. The service at the restaurant was good definitely different cuisine we had dinner there it was good breakfast not so much. Rooms where dirty attention to detail would work favors for them. Also I had to pay an upfront charge to keep my booking which was not mentioned on the app it said I could pay at the hotel and also there was a holding fee that was not upfront either. Overall would I stay here again probably not good location but that’s about it.

Don’t let the pictures fool you! The hotel seemed to be elegant but it wasn’t. It was a run down hotel with nice furniture. I would only recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a cheaper hotel that is slightly nicer than an average “cheap hotel”.

I don't like being located under the stairwell, first room was like being in a cave. They were very nice about moving us but still only 3 room over so still not out where you could see anything, room was just dark. They room was retro but the fridge was a joke, could hadrly get a bottle of pop in it. I dont know if other rooms were more spacious but the bathroom was just cramped.

Location was great, but the rooms and the common areas were not as clean as one would expect. The breakfast was good but note that it’s not full breakfast, you get an item per person. Lastly, we went with a toddler, it would been nice to be away from the stairs where people were hanging out/ smoking (which the smell was coming on the room).
