Way over-rated for the money.

Best stay in Tennessee I’ve ever had
Rebecca
The location was excellent. plenty of shopping and entertainment on the Island where the hotel is located. Outdoor pool was nice and had a great view of the Island water fountain. Room was spacious and clean. Shower was amazing. Spa was great too. Had a balcony that overlooked the shops. The only down side was the music that was played in the shoping area didn't turn off till late so if you wanted to go to bed early you had to wear ear plugs so you couldn't hear the music. Other than that it was a great place to stay in Pigeon Forge.
Pamela
Loved everything about this place.
Gary
The hotel is very nice overall. It is in a great location.
Troy and LeCinda
Clean room. Spa was great. Bar and tea overpriced for not so great food
DANIEL
Hotel was very clean. Staff was super friendly access to lots of things that he wanted to go to
Jeff
Great hotel.
Jessica
Clean rooms, excellent staff. Be sure to stop at the restaurant/bar bc the staff was extremely courteous and professional, especially the two gals on staff Sat night July 18th!!!
Susana
Very crowded area, hotel room in was clean and very nice, but the rest of the facility like the pool area had plates that were uncleared, a bar area that didn’t feel particularly well kept. And it was loud, drunk people in the hallways late at night. Self parking is quite far from rooms. We ended up switching hotels.

Our stay at Margaritaville was phenomenal. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the property's atmosphere, amenities, and unbeatable location. There are so many attractions, restaurants, and activities within walking distance of the hotel, making it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer without constantly getting in the car.
The room was exceptionally clean, spacious, and comfortable. Traveling with our 2-year-old, we really appreciated having plenty of room for him to play and move around comfortably. It made our stay much more enjoyable and relaxing.
The pool area was fantastic and quickly became one of our favorite parts of the property. The views overlooking the fountain displays were absolutely incredible, especially in the evening. It created a beautiful setting that made us want to spend even more time at the hotel.
In fact, we enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to add an extra night to our trip. That's something we rarely do, but we weren't ready to leave. The combination of the beautiful property, great amenities, family-friendly atmosphere, and convenient location made this one of the best hotel experiences we've had.
We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Margaritaville to anyone visiting Pigeon Forge.

The hotel was excellent. The parking lot access is terrible. If you self park, you must use the third lot away from the hotel. It is a couple hundred yards away. The check in and unloading area in front of the hotel is small and crowded. The valet service takes up most of that area. It is difficult to check in and unload. And you have to pay $10 per day to self park, or $25 per day for the valet service. At least make the self parking complimentary since it is so far away. The TV lineup is not good either, if you want to watch movies. The location to the Island shops is awesome. The staff is nice and the hotel is very clean.
David
Location is excellent. Staff is very friendly. Only three handicapped spots in gated guest lot that fill up quickly. Did not like the $10.00 a day parking fee and lack of compl. breakfest. Both should be included for price of rooms. Not sure if we will
stay there next trip.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and large and I loved the balcony. The rooftop pool area was very nice and it was great to be able to watch the fountain show from there.

The hotel was lovely. Clean, well maintained, a very fun location to be right in the center of. Room was spacious, huge bathroom with nice shower, and great to have a fridge and microwave available. I dinged the staff rating on my review, as that is where I had a very frustrating experience. The front desk staff who checked me in were fantastic. I believe the woman helping me was named Janae, and she was super friendly and helpful. At check-in I was provided with a couple vouchers for free margaritas. About 7pm, I went up to the rooftop pool and asked the bartender what time they closed that night, he informed me they closed at 10pm. Perfect, our plan was to let the kids play a while, then come up at the end of the night to get drinks and watch the fountain show from the roof deck. Cut to 9:50pm when I get to the bar to find the same bartender I spoke with earlier packing everything away. "Sorry, we closed at 9:45." Super frustrating. Even more frustrating was 5 minutes later when my wife went over to ask him a different question about where to find something in the hotel. As she was standing there another woman came up with her drink voucher and he took it and said he'd make her a drink. When my wife asked why he refused me 5 minutes earlier he shrugged, then gave the woman her voucher back and told her he had better not make her drink. That poor customer service experience left a bad taste in my mouth about the whole place. Unfortunate since the rest of the time was good.

The area was beautiful and the hotel was so
clean. We will be staying here again.

The spa was amazing, clean rooms, great restaurants close walking distance. Dollywood was a dream come true!
Dwight
Great property for the kids and adults
Randall
Everything was great! I only wish they would have had an adults only pool.
Bill
Everything is as expected from a resort type hotel. Only complaint is we had river view which isn't much of a view, but that really isn't the hotels fault. Just will request village or fountain my next visit. It is part of the Island so there's plenty of dining options and any type shopping you can think of. Rooftop Pool and bar, with another bar downstairs that had live music. Staff was very nice and we received multiple discounts and free tickets to Island attractions. Our room had a rain shower and a very large modern jacuzzi tub.

Everything was great.

Loved the hotel and location. We had teens with us and everyone enjoyed the easy access to shops, rides, and restaurants.

Beautiful hotel, very clean, friendly staff, great restaurants in and around the hotel. I walked outside the hotel and everything is only a few feet away. Nice pool at the hotel where I was able to get drinks and food without leaving the pool area. Restaurants, rides, shopping. I parked my car and didn’t have to leave my area anything until check out time.
Kate
This is a nice hotel and good location. I didn’t think it was worth the price we paid. You had to pay extra for parking and breakfast
Laura
The first night, the air conditioning was not working in our room. Not ideal but the staff was very helpful providing credits and relocating us the next day. The hotel is centrally located with a lot of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The pool/pool bar was fun but would love an adult only option!
Dawn
Always an awesome experience staying at the Margaritaville Island! My 4th stay-definitely not my last!! It’s 5 o’clock somewhere!
Ruthie
We had a very good experience at margaritaville.
Charlotte
Great stay
Bailey
Highly recommend!

It is convenient to lots of things to do, and it is clean and nice facility. The staff were friendly and nice. However, they did add fees to our final bill even though we paid for the stay prior to check in. They added a “destination fee” of $20 per day and $10 per day parking even though there’s free public parking directly beside the hotel. When I asked about the $20 per day for destination fee, they said “Ummm, it’s for like the pool and amenities.”
Kenneth
The room was hot couldn't get it cool very noisy don't think your going to get any sleep I've machine goes day and night people running up and down the hallway went to the pool bar was great the bartender she was amazing BUT there kids there at the bar screaming and yelling at the bar ????
Melissa
The staff were very helpful, when we called for an extra blanket they brought it almost immediately!
Whitney
Best place to stay.
Lindsey
The room was amazing! Very clean! Will definitely stay here again!
Kenneth
Our room was across from the ice machine that's all you could hear night and morning the air conditioning in our room couldn't keep it cool 73:74 till early morning.
Gregory

Amy
We had the most tiniest garbage can in our room! Just one was odd loved everything else
Justin
Great area, nice bars, pool and hot tub were clean, friendly staff, walkable
Andrea
Rooms were very clean BUT a very long walk. Facility is beginning to show age. Pool hours were good but bars/restaurants don’t open until 11 and close at 10. No breakfast except Starbucks on premises. 1 person working at check in time. Just not a great overall experience like has been had in the past for a higher price.
Kelly
Clean, huge rooms, nice staff, great pool
Karen
We love the convenience of being able to go and walk around the park everything was clean and very enjoyable inside and out. Hopefully, we’ll be going back soon and have a good experience like we did this time.
Sheri
Great hotel and location will be bring family back next year in June!!! First time here and scouted around very kid friendly places. Loved it. Thank you for such a great time
Kyle
Stay was great
Mike
Great property. Destination stay. Plenty of fun activities within walking distance.
Sara
Great location to attractions. We were happy we chose this location over Gatlinburg due to the crazy traffic in the other town. Was nicer to drive to town and be able to walk around the island. The manager was great! She inquired about our stay and heard I wasn’t completely satisfied with the hospitality. I was expecting a bit more charm and friendliness and that wasn’t the experience we had. She was accommodating and very sweet about following up with the staff member. Overall, the room was larger than expected and so clean! Lovely balcony over the river. The bed was very comfortable and hotel and room smelled fresh! I would highly recommend the hotel.
William
The air conditioner didn't work much at all and had to get a fan
Roberto
Relaxing atmosphere. Lots to do. Great for a weekend trip.
Kyle
Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Great facilities. Well maintained.
Karen
Beautiful property. The rooms are very spacious with plenty of amenities. This was our second stay at Margaritaville in Pigeon Forge, and it didn't disappoint! We will be back!

I LOVE THIS HOTEL! It is in the most perfect location for a fabulous time at The Island without even having to get in your car. This hotel is beautiful and well planned out. I love the island vibe! It has a great roof top bar and pool that overlooks the fountain at the island. It smells great and is very welcoming! The staff are friendly and helpful. The beds are very comfortable!
Cons: The shutters on the balcony doors let in way too much light... I felt like I was sleeping with the lights on. The fireplace doesn't work after the 1st of May (I believe that should be changed to June 1 as May can still be chilly). It is a huge, sprawling hotel so if you have mobility issues the walk can seem like forever (as experienced once before when traveling with my Mother).

The remote was broke in the bedroom. The fridge wouldn't stay cold. Was told of a 50.00 charge for stuff if taken on check out. Was not the room I wanted
Jennifer
A luxury motel worth every penny! Location is outstanding. Our room was spacious and room to move around. We will definitely be returning in August. Only drawback, we chose to park our own car and not use valet service. Don't quite understand why off-site parking is charged it’s a small walk. Trolley was never available as we were coming or leaving. Overall our granddaughter enjoyed her visit.
Kamie
The hotel was so nice, clean, convenient, and had great amenities, with choices of views, multiple bars/eateries, coffee shop, rooftop pool overlooking the Island and water show. The rooms had everything we needed and even an in-room jacuzzi tub. We were able to access the hotel from various places in the island(very helpful when super hot or in sudden rain showers. The valet service was quick and very convenient.
Norrah
It was so well maintained and the staff were so friendly and helpful.
Jacqueline
This place was great and convenient to The Island. The staff was Great and Renee was very accommodating. The representative at the information desk in the main lobby was very pleasant and helped with all questions we had and even gave a few recommendations. Our room was perfect and our balcony view was just beautiful! We will be coming back to stay again.
Marianne
Very clean rooms, and the staff was very friendly and helpful .
Shirwanda
I liked the room size, amenities, and helpful staff.
Lance
I loved this stay!
Mike
Paid over $300 per night and yet they felt the need to charge me a nightly distination fee. They give you a coupon for $5.00 off a meal or a drink and charge you $20.00. What a deal! Then the final insult was they charged me twice for the same fee. $78.22 charged on my hotel fee and another $20 per day on my Valet parking bill.
I have contested this double charge a week ago and have yet to hear anything back from them. If I don't hear anything soon, I will be forced to show them what I know about spreading the word on multi-media which will cost them far more than the $80 per day they charged me.

Amazing hotel. Great location. Very clean room.

This is a great place. Whether relaxing, shopping or celebrating this place has it all! Walking distance to area attractions and if you don’t enjoy walking there is a trolley that will take you all over the area!
The rooms are nice sized and some have balconies which is nice for unwinding in the evening. There is also a rooftop bar with a pool that overlooks the area.
The actual “check in “ area where you do valet or unload is a little difficult to get to and the streets outside are one way in areas but that is the only downside.
We will definitely be back!

loved the location and everybody was very informative and helpful when asked questions
Christopher
Clean and right in the middle of the island. Perfect if you are looking for food and fun right outside your door. Will definitely book again.

Everything was great. We always stay here when in pigeon forge
Patricia
Great location. Plenty to do within walking distance. central location to Gatlinburg and Severville. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We stayed in a riverfront room with a balcony. Great for coffee in the morning and to unwind in the evening. Only thing I missed was a place for breakfast at the resort. There is a Starbucks on property if that works for you. I have dietary remand they had nothing I could eat. Overall I loved the resort and would definitely stsy again
Ellie
Only surprise was the resort fee of $20 per day. Excellent otherwise.
Ben
Rooms are great and there is plenty to do on the “Island” Parking is not mentioned on the site for the motel, you have two choices valia and self. Valia is $25 per day and self is $10. If you choose self It’s about a 10 minute walk from the lobby. The motel has a weird setup winding all over the place above the Island stores and attractions( so a lot of walking depending on where your room is located) Like I said the motel is nice and the staff are top notch, but the motel is a little weird how it’s set up.
Rick
Rooms were well furnished, clean, and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and the pool area was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
