It was fine for a place to sleep between a couple days of activity in Pigeon Forge. No frills but seemed clean. Breakfast wasn’t good. I went once and just got a yogurt and coffee that I couldn’t drink and the hubby got a cup of juice. Outdoor pool is small but fine. Indoor pool is very small, hot and humid. AC worked great. The rocking chairs by the river behind the hotel were the best part. Would I stay here again? Not unless I found a deal I couldn’t pass up.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. There were a couple of minor cosmetic blemishes in the bathroom, but nothing that interfered with the comfort of the stay. The staff is extremely helpful and attentive. All emenities listed about the proper were in operation. There is a deck across the back of the hotel to relax and view the river.

We needed a room for one night, so I booked this based on the relatively good reviews on Expedia. That wasn't a great idea. The hotel is in desperate need of a renovation. The carpet was stained in the hall and in the room. The room desperately needed a refresh. There was \"yuck\" on the walls - they need to be wiped down. Mold on the AC unit. Speaking of AC, it was July when we stayed and the AC was not working in the main part of the building. It was working in the room, which was good. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. We didn't go in the pool. We did really like the river view and the underground parking.

We rented a room with the balcony and paid extra for it because in the photos it shows you can see the water could not see the water was very disappointed. The outside pool was not heated so he couldn’t use it. Ask if I could change rooms so I could see the water only to tell me they want more money. It was the same breakfast every day never changed so no I would not stay again.

The breakfast should be advertised as “economy” but there was a fair selection. River Bend Inn will be on our repeat list.

The room was clean and fresh smelling. We had the king room, and there was a small sitting area which had a loveseat in it. So nice!
View couldn’t be beat, right on the river. We could sit on our balcony and watch the ducks swim past.
I would have liked to have had more coffee left in the room though. One packet wasn’t enough to carry us over until the buffet opened.
The hotel exceeded our expectations.

Pros: The staff were warm and welcoming g, even when we arrived at 2am. The hotel was full and parking was limited and she found us the perfect parking space which we used during our entire visit. The rooms were very clean and the corridors were quiet. I can’t say anything about the pools as we were too busy to use them. We don’t like anyone tidying our room during our stay so housekeeping would leave a bundle of clean towels and toilet paper for us.

Con’s: The only con is the breakfast and I’m pretty easy to please. The eggs were fake, the sausage was greasy, and the gravy was runny. Only loaves of white bread to toast. It would be nice if they had a waffle maker like most hotels do that offer breakfast. Also bagels with cream cheese and English muffins with peanut butter would have been another alternative giving some protein in the morning. I know it is complimentary but these are basic in almost every hotel I r stayed.

We would stay again. I hope the comments of myself and others will help them improve breakfast.

Pro: Friendly staff, bed was comfortable, great tv station selection, and had a nice hot strong shower.
Con: Floor in room was very dirty. We had to wash feet before going to bed. The room was not very well maintained had a dirty night stand and broken light fixture next to bed. Had free breakfast which included: three kinds of cereal, yogurt, mini muffins, toast, biscuits and gravy (did not try those), sausage patties and eggs - that were not real eggs (ick), bananas, juices, and coffee.
Covered parking available which is nice. Had rocking chairs overlooking creek. It was quiet, did not hear noise from other rooms. If traffic noise is a concern, request a room on the back side. If you get a good price and the only thing you care about is sleeping and taking a shower ...This is for you. If you are a hotel snob, this is not the place to stay.

This is where we stay most of the time when in the area. I do wish they would upgrade heating/cooling. The units under the windows are so outdated and has no thermostat that will turn off once reached temp.
I have left 2xs now sick with a cold from laying with unit continuously running and blowing over bed. Other than that I love the place!

Stayed 5 nights, the room was spotless, I had a room with a balcony which I utilized the entire stay. What a view from the balcony.
The breakfast was good, I did not really eat breakfast but once and the food was plentiful and hot. Has 2 pools which were clean and maintained.
The only negative was the guest service employee that checked me in, she was just going thru the motions not engaged at all did not talk about any amenities nor any thing about breakfast or the times.
I had to go on a hunt to find the ice machine (second off right off the elevator)
I would definitely stay there again

We booked a premium King room with balcony. When we arrived we were put in a standard. The bathroom could have used a better cleaning, but the room was otherwise ok. We didn't make a fuss over the room because of previous reviews about the receptionist's poor attitude. If we had stayed more than 3 nights we would have said something. Will stay again if just for a short trip, and we will double check the reservation when we check in before we go to the room.

We booked several days but needed to check in a day later due to a family emergency. We were unable to contact the property (the phone would answer and drop) and when we showed up to check in we were told the reservation was gone, along with our money. Expedia contacted them but they refused to do the right thing. The front desk person was rude and it was an all-around bad experience. There are numerous options in Pigeon Forge so I would recommend any of the others.

Room was clean, beds were comfy but the usb plugs next to them were broken. The bathroom was not in the best condition, shower curtain was all ripped up. The indoor pool was tiny and right inside the lobby. (Outdoor was closed when we stayed around spring break time). Breakfast was decent (eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, yogurt, cereals, juice). Great location, right next to a newer mini golf and the Hollywood wax museum.

Great experience. We ended up adding a day through Hotels.com which made two separate reservations and the person at the desk easily combined them so we didn’t have to move. Property is a tinge dated, but it’s clean and the bed was fantastic! Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is old and shows a lot of wear. Toilet had a high pitched screech when flushed, broken sink. Heat was cranked up in the breakfast area so it was not tolerable to sit there and eat. Front desk clerk wasn’t very friendly. The housekeeper was very nice and replaced towels timely. Pillows were very flat but the beds were comfortable enough for a hotel. Parking isn’t great. The location is close to everything but there is also a lot of noise from cars at night.

Booking a room can be difficult, I understand. However the business needs to be upfront about rules. I always book a room with a balcony because I smoke. Arriving at this place I find out smoking is not allowed on the property, even the balcony. 300.00 fine. Otherwise it was fine but we will never stay there again.

The rooms were clean but they aren't very quiet. We could hear all the traffic from the road and at 4 am a garbage truck emptying a large trash can and slamming it back to the ground and doors slamming closed from other rooms on our floor. It was okay stay just maybe bring ear plugs if your a light sleeper.

The pool area was ok . The towels are small . Building needed updating . Our view from the balcony was a house and a dirt pile . The toilet leaked from the bottom of the toilet . I called downstairs to report it , the receptionist at the desk tells me she will get someone on it . It was never fixed . It's ok if you want to save money and don't want to spend a fortune . I will never return again .

Upon arrival to the hotel i was greeted by a lady in glasses. Very nice and very helpful. They said they had issues processing my payment, i had made the reservation on February 23rd through Expedia. They said the payment was declined, but i had the receipt stating it was paid. The owner or manager came and said to check me in anyway. The normal process calls for an ID and Credit Card. I give them my cards and was told all was fine. Once i got to the room i had 3 charge attempts on my card from this hotel without my permission. I then recieved a call stating it was figured out. That aside the room was not very clean as my child walked around barefoot before the pool and his feet were black. The outside light also was broken. Not to mention the view i had was not of a river at all, but a vacant newly built house that blocked the pigeon forge strip as well as the river. The pool was okay, but the water was way too hot and chlorinated. My eyes were burning after the pool for awile. All this being said the staff member who checked me in was very nice, but i would recommend staying else where if vacancy is available near by.
