Such a little gem! Spacious room too. Not gonna lie, I booked it for the lazy river but was surprised to find that most rooms had their own balcony. Please fix the other elevator. Only one was working and we could not take the stairs as we were traveling with a wheelchair bound child.

My husband and I rented a room for the weekend to go hiking in the mountains. Upon arrival we could immediately see this was not as it was described. Very run down. Upon check in the staff was not very friendly. We got up to our floor and immediately identified they were doing renovations. Which is fine but no indication on the listing or by the hotel. When we got to our room complete disappointment. The room was not as described and it was dirty nasty. We had no WiFi in our room. Limited towels. There was something disgusting on the walls and bedding. The ceiling in the bathroom was falling down. I would NOT recommend to anyone.

We found drugs were left in the drawers in our room on the first night. The beds were not clean. The sheets and covers had burn holes and stains. Half the elevators are not operating. The outside pool was empty, and the inside pool and lazy river were less than desirable. It boasts a 5 minute walk from the island but given traffic and having to cross the parkway, it seems like that was highly unlikely. I was very disappointed because this wasn't even one of the cheaper rated rooms. I can understand remodeling but the way they are going about it is awful.

I received an email from the GM before arriving to check-in and he was letting me know that not only was the outdoor pool open but so was the indoor pool and lazy river. When we arrived there was a lobby full of people waiting to be checked-in and only one guy at front desk. Our room had the view of the outdoor pool and hot tub which were completely drained of water and disgustingly needing much repairs. The entire stay our floor smelled of marijuana which was supposed to be a non-smoking floor never mind the fact that it’s illegal. Quite time is 10pm but there was constantly running up and down the halls. Our air in our room did not work properly. The bathroom was missing a vent cover, heat lamp bulb and cover, hand rail in tub which left two huge holes that were not patched. Then we saw a cockroach. I booked because of the amenities and the 6.5 rating which clearly had to be a lie and no vending or ice machines anywhere.. Each door leading to outside was left unlocked every night where my family and I saw a homeless woman asleep on the concrete steps. The lazy river’s light in the pool was floating in the water while still attached to electrical wire. My niece was approached by a female asking if she had weed and when she said no the girl turned around and mumbled, “Yeah she’s lying” then came back where my niece was sitting and crowded her in the hot tub with four guys. Luckily my daughter was with her and they left to come tell me what had happened. I do not recommend!!!

Room was nice and it was great having a balcony. Breakfast was good. Location was great. Very disappointed in the pool. Needs renovating, no tubes available for the lazy river and there were dirty socks and an article of clothing laying on the ground along with an open can of pringles and half drank soda. Going all the way into the basement didn’t feel safe when it appeared abandoned and not cared for.

Found bed bugs in our bed both me and my boyfriend are covered in bites. Stains on my floor at mattresses. Pool area was dirty and filled with trash, There was also a metal light that was supposed to be attached to the wall underwater flouting around the lazy river. We left as soon as we found the bugs and the lady at the front didn’t even seem surprised when i told her which tells be this has been an issue and still nothing was done. Waiting to hear back from hotels.com to get my refund.

We required a refund we did not stay. Your hotel was filthy dirty and I would never recommend that hotel. Can’t even put paper towels in the bathroom and all you have is these cheap box of tissues to dry your hands everywhere the smell of musty and mildew all throughout the place. I never seen any hotel so bad and I frequent hotels quite a lot.

VERY disappointed with this hotel. Check-in was fine at the desk, but the hotel is generally in really bad disrepair. Wallpaper peeling everywhere in the halls, almost every room door we walked by was dented, like they had been hit with something. Paint scuffed and chipped off most every door facing. Only one working elevator for the whole hotel. Our room was very run down - stained carpet, holes in the fiberglass shower that had never been fixed. The shower curtain was torn. One overhead light in the room that was very dim and only one working light by the beds. The beds themselves were clean, we checked them THOROUGHLY, but they were very uncomfortable and lumpy. Our balcony room looked out on a pool that was drained and littered with trash. We didn’t not go to the lazy river, nor did we eat the continental breakfast. We will NEVER stay at this hotel again and will never recommend it. I would give this hotel a Zero if I could. DO NOT STAY HERE.

The room was very spacious and the staff were very kind! They had a game room, pool and hot tub, so good for families. The breakfast area was nice (and clean). Our room’s kitchen was also nice. Our issue with the stay was overall cleanliness, and the fact our reserved room did not have the pull-out couch as advertised. The pool area was below the property in a basement and the water in the lazy river was warm. There was no ceiling (like on the pics) and there were cigarettes, zen packs, socks and trash all over the hot tub area and in the plants. The bathroom at the pool had broken tiles laying around with holes in the wall. I wondered if it was just due to not being cleaned during that time, it was there during the duration of our 2 night stay. Our reservation included 6 guests, but we were only given 3 towels. When I asked the desk for more, they let us know they were out. Luckily there was a coin laundry room, but we WERE able to get 6 towels for the second night, so they must’ve had a lot of guests coming in. The couch in the room was covered with crumbs at arriv and the stuffing in the chair was showing. There were pieces of fake eyelashes on the floor and when we tried to wipe the floors, the towels were very dirty. The front desk staff and maintenance staff were all very nice, it was not their fault! I had an issue with the tv, which someone promptly came to fix. This hotel seems to just be older and need major updates. The tub faucet also would not turn fully off.

Parking was fine but that’s about it only one elevator worked. The chairs in the room were broke, so there was no sitting on the balcony. The pool was cold. Lazy river was OK. The hot tub looked nasty and it looked to be blood splatter all over the bathroom wall that’s when I left that was enough…. I ended up leaving early so now I paid for 2 nights and only actually got one don’t recommend this place.

Rooms were disgusting. I don’t know when the last time they were deep cleaned. Stains were all over walls and carpet even in hallways leading to room. Elevator was in horrible shape with vandalism. Every single door to each room look like they had been busted down. Every room smelled like smoke and marijuana. Just overall poorly kept and maintained. Rooms were like 80 degrees when we got there and the AC looked like it had been pieced together.

There were mixed reviews, but we decided to give it a shot. The motel is older and needs updating, but what was concerning was that it was dirty and gross. There were stains all over the sheets, many spots on the carpet, and the floor we stayed on was non-smoking. We could smell smoke while walking down the hall and in our room. The bathtub looked like it hadn't been cleaned; the bottom was dark. Walking down to the pool, there were lots of spills and stains on the walls and carpet. The pool was down 3 sets of stairs, and the elevator was out of service. Down at the pool, the concrete steps were damaged and cracked, making them easy to cut yourself on. There was insulation falling off an air duct. Several used Band-Aids were lying by the pool in a pile of dirt that looked like it had been there for a long time. We decided it wasn't the place for us. We were told that the staff would refund our money, but then they backed out of that. Hotels.com said there is nothing they can do. They've tried to contact management and they will not respond I don't know why they keep doing business with this motel. I have 56 pics of the condition of this place and will gladly share them.

Price, location and breakfast were excellent. If you can park and ignore the broken ice machines, elevator s, run down and dirty feel get to your room and clean it yourself , it worth it. Even our room and cigarette butts on the floor in a non smoking room. Toilet seat broken, but other than that the price was good.

When I informed the front desck of the issues, they said it was probably a housekeeping issue. No apologies or offer of making it right. Keep in mind that one of my complaints was a light fixture in the bathroom fell on my head. Highly disappointed!

If you are at the tail end of breakfast you miss out. Handicapped parking was excellent. So close to our room, 202, a wonderful surprise. They are remodeling so our older room was dated but clean. The balcony was an added bonus we enjoyed. The lobby and halls are beautifully remodeled. We will return again and maybe get a newer room. Check in and out was easy and the staff, awesome! The price was crazy low, 1/3 of the place across the street. But in our 70's we really don't need a water park! Lol. It was quiet and felt safe. Thank you staff for helping us find the best pizza place and making it last minute getaway great.

We never even made it to the room!! We booked the room online without reading reviews,which is my fault. However, upon arrival we had bad vibes immediately. The outside was unkept and the balconies looked concerning. We knew the room was non refundable but still agreed to leave our bags in the truck when we checked in. The pool and lazy river were the big highlights for us so we looked at those first. On our way down to the BASEMENT we noticed lots of wet ceiling tiles,a very odd odor, holes in the walls, and.....several high quality security cameras? When we finally found the bottom we took one look and didn't even need to exchange words. The windows leading in were white with chemical residue and the places we could see through showed the pool and lazy river were bith the color of broth. We swiftly ushered the kids back to the truck and agreed we will read reviews from now on before booking and then paid for a better accommodation that ended up being a better price!!!

I would not stay here again. The mattresses were horrible, the pillows were flat. The shower curtain was torn and tattered. I received an email prior to arrival that both the indoor and outdoor pools were open, not so the outdoor pool was empty. The indoor pool was open but like ice. The hot tub had hot water but the control for the jets had been removed. The lazy river was very nice and we had a lot of fun in it, but the stairs going in had several broken tiles. The staff upon checking in and in the breakfast room was nice. Great location to many attractions, but I would not stay there again.

The first room that we were put in when we got to the hotel had dirty linens in the drawers and dirty towels in the floor of the room, the shelf that holds the hangers and on top of the fridge and microwave had trash on it. We went and talked to the staff and they switched us rooms the first thing that we noticed was there were holes in the walls, and the toilet handle was broken off we took pictures and showed the staff we said we could deal with it that night and he said it would be fixed the next morning. It wasn't when we got back to our room that evening I talked to staff again and they did send someone right away the issue was that even though he put a flush valve on it wouldn't flush. Later that evening I was getting into bed and the headboard completely fell off and hit me exposing the screws. This was the worst hotel experience that my family has ever had.

After trying 2 separate rooms and finding both in poor conditions (example, the first room we pulled back the sheet and found a vape and lip gloss and unclean bedding and the second room had blood on the mattress that you could see through the sheet, not to mention the disgusting floors) we left and were told to contact Expedia for refunds. We've tried twice for refunds and been told either nobody is at the property to approve or "they seem extremely busy but we've sent an email." Hopeful to get a refund seeing as though we were unable to stay. The man at the front desk was nice and apologized multiple times while seemingly unsurprised at our request. Under reconstruction or not, conditions were unacceptable.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. It was very entertaining in a very negative way. Seen a woman overdosed in her vehicle. Police were called out about the incident. Drug deals were constantly being made behind the building. Police were called again about 5 cop cars pulled up and arrested and guy in the back of parking lot. Searched his bag and found drugs and a gun in his possession. This is a slum hostel hotel like I said I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Oh and the highly stressed that if you smoke cigarettes on the balcony you will be charged a 250.00 cleaning fee for the smell. I guess it’s okay for people to smoke their crack and pot on the balconies. We couldn’t enjoy sitting on our balcony because of all the pot smoking from other guests. Prostitutes were all in the hotel I think this hotel is a hot spot for prostitution. To top it off my wife and friend were pretty much threatened while sitting on our balcony by ppl beside us by showing them his knife while staring at them. We rent this room for all weekend but left a day early because after this incident we no longer felt safe. As we were checking out of hotel I told the front desk manager what had happened about the guy with the knife. The manager acted like it was no big deal. He shrugged it off like it was nothing to him. This hotel needs to be reported to authorities about all the problems that’s here. From the drugs the prostitution not feeling safe it’s just to much for anyone

There was human poop in lazy River. There was screws all over hallway. Bed was broke. Trash and cigarettes all over balcony.

We didn’t stay. As soon as we saw the poop in pool we left. We told front desk and he seemed highly unconcerned with the poop on lazy river and when told him the rest he shrugged his shoulders.

Hotel refused a refund. I am going to be calling health department.

The pictures that you see are very misleading! Our room was filthy!! There were exposed wires in the hallway. Carpets were filthy. The beds were sunk in! We checked in, went to our room, saw it! We took the time to find another hotel, then we checked out. I'm now in the process of trying to get a refund from Expedia. Terrible experience!!!

I called your customer sevice number to recieve a refund due to mold and mildew. Dirty nasty room shower full of mold and mildew room smell badly just horrible I will call your supervisor tomorrow I better get my refund I didn't even stay there I check in and check right out 20 minutes later went to compass hotel paid 200 more dollars but it was 4 star instead -5 star. I do have plenty of picture of trash hole

The room was terrible, parts of the carpet were ripped up and missing, the couch had tears and stains. There was a dirty qtip under the sheets on one of the beds. There was no toliet paper, there was no remote for the TV so we couldn't turn it on. We had to sleep on top of the comforters with no blankets because the sheets had dirt on them. We were refused a refund so we couldn't go else where, they also said they had no other rooms but offered to vacuum. Like that would have made a difference...

Parking was fine. Check in was great very helpful.
I don’t know about all the maids but room not very clean. Hot tub was hot but no jets. Pool cold. Doors to outside don’t lock. Just very outdated.

The pool is what sold us. The hallways and walls were very dirty with stains. The couch inside the room was very dirty. Did not let the kids touch it at all. The elevator button on the 3rd floor is not even in place.

Some renovations were going on the the rooms were clean and the pool and lazy river were very nice. The jets weren't working in the hot tub but it was hot and a nice soak. The breakfast buffet is really nice. This was our second stay and we'll be back again.

When I made my reservation, Sam was very helpful. When my family and I arrived from a long day at Dollywood Sam was very professional and kind asking about our day.

Sam apologized profusely for the state of the property due to a new ownership and working to get it up to par again.

The lazy River was really cool! My boys loved it. The beds were very comfortable! We had a balcony which was nice to see the lights and hustle and bustle of the strip. Great LOCATION! It did what we needed it to do.

I would advise for any upcoming people to give grace and understanding to the property owners.

It's a very large property and a lot of work needs to be done to get it up to par.

Everything aboutvthe room was fantastic, we loved the balcony with the beautiful view
The shower was great,good water pressure, the air conditioning worked great,we loved the window and door to the balcony was glass,so lot's of light coming in,was happy to see that
Parking was plenty for guests
Breakfast was gravy,biscuits,sausages, indian stir fry,i think? Lol
It was delicious
Cant say enough about the front desk staff,they were Dolls,very sweet!
Thank you for hosting my husband and i,and our friends with the joining rooms
We will go back in june
I hope the seasonal pool is open by then.
There is a cute lazy river and pool inside for rainy or cold days though
