Was a last minute for this booking, I guess we got the old room instead of a newer room the linen on bed could have been little cleaner was stains all over sheets could not sleep on it had to buy sheets to relax. The towels need to be replaced stains and everything on the towels just not a good experience for me and my family.

My wife and I chose to stay at this hotel due to affordability as we were coming from Albany, NY for the Blood In The Water event. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and even gave me some suggestions as to where to find cheap gas for our travels. There were a few holes amongst the property, but they were marked with an \"x\" using a marker and easily avoidable. My wife found the beds to be a bit uncomfortable, but I was fine with them so it really just goes by personal preference. The hotel was also located in a decent location, surrounded by restaurants and shops.

I booked online and the description said the room had a microwave and refrigerator but the room didn’t. I talked to the clerk about it and he didn’t seem to care. He told me that no Motel 6 rooms have microwave and refrigerator. Something that I know isn’t true. The remote for the TV would only turn it on and adjust the volume. The clerk tried different remotes and couldn’t get anything to work. Then he blamed it on the weather.

Terrible location. I was on the 1st floor on a back building, not the one you see when you arrive. I arrived late, about 10pm and the noise outside continued for hours. I would not recommend this place at all.
The women at the front desk were nice but the place was not. The room was clean.

I only stayed one night, and when I arrived I was a little worried because I had to book it at the last minute since my flight was canceled due to bad weather. But I must say the room was exceptional, I loved it, and the lobby is super nice; I think they're remodeling... I would definitely stay at this hotel again without hesitation.

I left a apple ipad in room 105 after i checked out on 12/09/2025. The housekeepe was so close by my room as I was checking out. I called the hotel and asked about the apple Ipad I left in the room. The front desk answer the phone and said no Ipad was turned in by the housekeeper. People is so shiesty. I will be following through with a police report and pressing charges VERY SOON.

I booked 3 rooms in my brother's name for friends that were coming to access the work needed on my garage. I used his credit card for 3 separate rooms each costing $79.22. I received confirmations and when they got into town, my brother was told that there was only one room in his name reserved. The other 2 guys had to pay $90+ because the motel had canceled the other 2 rooms & they couldn't get the $79.22 rate.
One of the toilets did not work in one of the rooms.

First room they put us in. There was no service for Cable and the phones didn’t work which she said they were sending somebody out Monday so she got another remote and the TV did come on but when she left, we couldn’t get Service again so they switched us to another room And I seen footprints that were dirty shoe prints on the bathroom floor. The bathtub was dirty and every time you move the bed sound like it was hitting on some tin or drum but the second rm had phone service after we were told the service was down 1st freezer needed defrosting and window was cloudy 2rm floor needed to be mopped floor was sticky

Only thing I hate is the advertisement of one price, but then the hidden fees and taxes makes the price jump nearly $100! Oh and the inclusion of pets... It's always a funky, wet dog smell inside the elevators and occasionally poo or pee! I hate that. But the cleaning staff are amazing! And the front desk ladies are very nice but the prices are out of their control.

Don’t think I’ll be back here!

For starters, they have a sign at the front desk that states “no refunds after 10 minutes of check in” I paid for my room at the property, I didn’t even go upstairs before I walked right back in and asked for a refund to which the receptionist stated she can’t refund me and the manager was out of the country so he can’t refund me either. So we had no choice to stay. Our room was on the 3rd floor, they only had 1 elevator and 1 stairwell for all 5 floors. We were only in the room for 10 minutes and my 2 year olds feet were PITCH black, needless to say they don’t clean properly. The bathtub was chipping paint everywhere and the curtain would fall down the rod only covering the mid section of the shower and the bathroom was always freezing! Mopped the floors 3 times and they were still filthy! Not to mention I woke up one day to our room door wide open bc housekeeping let themselves in while I was sleeping after they saw my bf leave to take our dog out. It was raining and freezing outside this day and we had 3 kids in the room. I work nights so I sleep during the day, I was napping during the time of the let in. They didn’t even knock. The only good thing about this stay was the internet!

It was a rather pleasant stay. The only problem we encountered was the room key. Even though we paid for a 2 night stay then extended it for another 3 nights, they turned the key to our room off every day. It was the only inconvenience we came across though. Besides the problem with our key we really enjoyed it there. It was peaceful and quiet, the staff was friendly and the room was very surprisingly big.

STAY AWAY!!!!!

The room we were given was filthy. Opening the door, we were hit with an awful smell. The window was shattered, there was a stained dirty rag on the windowsill to catch leaking water. The AC unit was filthy, the pillows were yellowed, the tub was a peeling mess, and the balcony had empty soda bottles, cigarette packs, and a solo cup full of cigarette butts on it. Elevator was out of order. We stayed in the room long enough to book into the Hampton Inn. Went to the front desk, handed in my key (they will only give you on, no matter how many are in the room) and told him that the place was filthy and we couldn’t stay there. He offered a different room, but I couldn’t imagine that they would be better than what we were given initially. We got a full refund.

We met another couple in the parking lot we had stayed the night before and they were on their phones trying to find another place to move to as well. They also confirmed that their room was filthy and smelled bad as well.

On the outside, the hotel looks a little sketchy, but it's par for the neighborhood, and it was cheap enough for a night stay. The lady at the front desk was super nice & friendly. The room was holey moley..it was like the Hilton. Very updated and clean. Had everything I needed. Now, the lady the next morning told me they had recently renovated that side and would be working on the rest, so I have no idea what the other rooms looked like, but the one I had was very nice!

The property is five minutes away from the north fork airport. The renovated rooms are spacious. They have balcony rooms if you care to smoke and I think they have smoking rooms on the fourth and fifth floor.

I stayed in the new wing very clean very new king size bed there is no restaurant, but they old they have a laundry room.

Weird/bad hotel stay.

The hotel was clean enough, but everything else was a disaster.
It looks horrible from the outside, and upon walking in, we learn that we’re on the fifth floor and the elevator is out of order.
The person checking me in asked if that was ok. I said no, but what option did I have? I’d hoped maybe there was another room on the second floor. No, I could cancel my reservation.
Obviously I couldn’t do that and just hope another hotel could take me, so me and my shoulder injury took the room. (Carrying luggage up five flights isn’t recommended by my doctor.)
Aside from that, the shower was awful. It sprayed more water on the ceiling than it did on the person in it.
I’m still not sure if the door actually locked. It was very sticky. We had to test it. I think it did, but that’s not something you want to leave to chance.
The blanket on the bed was a curtain. Not too bad. Just really weird.
Definitely don’t stay here in general but especially if you’re disabled.

This place is a dump. Rooms on the 4th & 5th floor. Why is my family separated? Why is there no elevator? Its STILL out of service. I read a review from May that the elevator was out of order. Its now the end of July! There was no elevator. No Continental breakfast. No coffee maker in room. No coffee no kitchen no vending machines. On the bright side, the bed was very comfortable. I slept well. The room looked clean just old & worn. Smelled funny. The bathroom was updated by Uncle Phil's cousin. Poor workmanship. This is a last minute no other place available hotel. Would not stay here again.

Looks like this is freshly renovated and taken care of. The staff were nice and attentive. Understanding things happen the only issue was no one was there to check me in I stood there for a long time waiting and finally a panicked employee came to the front desk said she couldn’t help right now due to an overdose in one of the rooms. She advised they were kicking the person out and she even offered a discount for the inconvenience. Awesome customer service and again I understand things happen so can’t really fault the hotel for actions of their guest.

It is hard to evaluate this property s they are doing major renovations to the extent the overall appearance is unappealing and off putting. The hotel is old and the renovations are needed but I think they are trying to do it as cheaply as possible, but the room price did not reflect any of this, I have stayed in many $60 a night hotels better than this one. My opinion is that once work is completed it will still be unlinked by many travelling folks in the future. I wish the owners well , I have a soft spot for family owned businesses but I am not sure I would stay there again.

It was not a comfortable stay at all. As soon as I checked into the front office I got my key and two girl followed me back to my car. I ran to my car jumped in and left. This was the scariest hotel I have ever stayed at. There were people outside just waiting for people to get out of their cars. I left and never came back with room keys and all. I will never ever recommend this place to anyone and it’s sad they got my money for legit nothing.

I had to wait for them to have a worker come in to make sure my room was dirty then at 12 at night they decided to give us a cleaner room. And both rooms have bed bugs and just disgusting!!! Roaches everywhere outside. Water hazards!! That pace needs to be shut down!!! I got charged more than what I paid for and also they charged me for a random 25$ fee I have no idea why. And yes I do have pictures of how disgusting it was and pictures of my account saying it’s from Rodeway Inn!!! Never again!!!!!!! If you have kids please don’t take them there!!!!

No somewhere I will ever stay again

Came in for one night. Selections were limited to none being as this was a last minute booking weekend after Memorial Day. Had no choice but stay. Between drugs and Prosecution not sure this place would do any other business. Rooms are dilapidated moldy and bug infested. I’m sure there are Mice as well. I frequent many Motels/Hotels in the Norfolk/Ocean View Area due to running fishing Charters. This will definitely be on “ my do not EVER book” list. Upon checking in Front desk clerk billed the Card on the Hotels.com Account even after being presented with the payment method for the stay. My regret is not taking pictures
