Highly recommend. The hotel is in a great location, and you can easily book activities directly through the hotel. They’ll even arrange pickup from the hotel, which I highly recommend doing. The staff are incredibly helpful and make sure everything runs smoothly. You just have to pay, and they take care of the rest.

If you have any worries (which I did), they’ll take the time to explain the procedures and make you feel comfortable. The hotel is also surrounded by many restaurants and is close to a shopping area, which makes it very convenient.

Overall, this hotel is mediocre/acceptable. However, the reception service is the worst. Due to their policy, I had to request room cleaning every day. I made the request daily before leaving for sightseeing, but they failed to clean the room on two of those days! On the last day, I spoke to the reception again, and they said they would send someone shortly, but then there was no follow-up whatsoever...

Hmm where do i start?
Best part about the Hotel is location.
Booked a Royal suite with a hot tub.
No hot water in the hotel for 2 of the 3 nights of our stay so the extra i paid for the hot tub was useless.
Management were apologetic but offered no discount because we couldn't use the hot tub.
The hot tub by the way is a spa bath only!
The view outside our room was into a small courtyard that was being used as a washing drying area for the staff! They even turned our table upside down so they could tie a washing line to it, right outside our door!
I really couldn't recommend this place, there are better hotels in the area,a couple we got friends with moved to another hotel because of their issues we just didn't get the chance as we had paid upfront.
Disappointing stay to say the least.

We were in the by the hammam spa and from time to time we can hear hammering sound made by the steam downstairs. It is very loud. We also have booked an ATV tour in this hotel and the promised sites were not part of the ATV route. We were disappointed because we didn’t book the Red tour (the most impt tour of all Cappadocia) because the front desk claimed we can visit those sites in ATV tour.

Stunning hotel, great service and unbeatable value. Rooms are beautiful, not \"actual\" caves but the architecture is very reminiscent of the local caves. Perfectly located with tons of walking dining and shopping options and very easy to visit all the local beautiful sites. The pool was very clean and not crowded at all, very relaxing, refreshing and comfortable. We loved our stay.

My babanne and I enjoyed our stay. There were a few moments where the water was shut therefore we couldn’t shower til it was on and the cleaning staff were rather loud.

The beds need replacing. The pillows and mattresses were super soft. The bed frames creaked anytime you moved. The shower needs a good scrub. There was mildew and black buildup in the door cracks and around the shower floor. The internet was fine. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really nice with lots of different and local options. The price was extremely reasonable.

Overall it’s a lovely and convenient place to stay with great staff.
The rooms do need some overall work such as behind the bathroom door are the pipes that you can see from what has been cut into the wall.
The bathroom door isn’t fully sealed and sound proof so you have to be comfortable with your partner. Also the shower could use a light fitting so you can see better.

Never again. Reception staff rude and unhelpful. Our cave room was damp with intermittent wifi. Got flooded twice, one by the fridge defrosting, second by staff not emptying the dehumidifier. Very powerful shower which was either hot or cold but rarely just right. Also, the hotel asked you contact them to clean your room. We tried 5 times calling reception without success.

Location is excellent with all restaurant etc a 3 minute walk. Breakfast was good

A pleasant experience overall. The location was excellent - just a short walk from the main market and various attraction offices, which made exploring super easy. - Moldy bread at breakfast

- Broken shower head

- Hair dryer with exposed wires and no plug

- Loose power socket with hanging wires (safety hazard)

- Housekeeping ignored 2 reminders and didn't clean room

- Staff became rude when we escalated to Expedia

- Front desk screamed and threatened us when we recorded his behavior

Location in Goreme was great. The view from the rooftop of hot air balloons was spectacular and the green tour we booked through the hotel was excellent.
However, our bathroom had a broken shower fixture and there was mould on the base of the shower.
In addition our bedroom door faced janitorial facilities and equipment.

No hot water for the evening. Told by the manager/staff on reception that Luke warm was the correct temperature. I booked a room with a jet tub hence the minute the Luke warm water hit the cold tub it was unusable. Mould in the corners of the room especially bathroom. The radiator was completely rusty but as there was no heating we didn’t have to use. Bedding and towels damp. Very disappointed considering the price tag on the room !!! No viewing platform as in the photographs instead we had workmen sanding down the staircases (of which there are a lot) and handrails are very rickety so not safe for children or adults with walking difficulties like myself. In all a waste of £160 breakfast was at 8.30 even though you’re up at 5.30 to see the balloons. Sun loungers were plenty but the towels and the mattress they give you for the sun beds are filthy covered in stains. No staff for drinks during the afternoon I would say a basic 2 star. It might be a “cave hotel” but it’s not how the photos make out. Typical tourist trap would not recommend and would never go again. I met an Asian family at 5.40am they wanted to see the balloons but no one in reception so I suggested they climbed the door flights of rickety iron stairs to the top platform and the gentleman replied “no not safe I have children “ he ended up getting a taxi to a viewing point. Obviously the scenery is incredible we took some amazing photos but restaurants overpriced and the shops.

The photos on Expedia looked nice so I booked two for our family of six—two children and four adults. The room with the pool was supposed to have two twin beds, and the second room was a family suite with a king bed and two twin beds. When we arrived, we were told that rooms with pools only come with king beds, so we had to switch to a family suite with separate beds.The hotel is old and hasn't been renovated in a long time. Both of our rooms (one in a \"cave\" and one on the upper floor) were very worn out, with black mold in the showers. The \"cave\" room was quite dirty because plaster kept falling from the ceiling. We took photos where you can clearly see the white plaster dust. We had to cover the beds to avoid sleeping on the falling debris. The chairs in the \"cave\" room were torn with holes. We asked for some kind of cover to hide the holes, and they promised to bring one but never did. One of our rooms was on the upper level, accessible by an iron spiral staircase. Since it was snowy and icy, the steps were frozen and had not been salted. People had to hold onto the railings with both hands to avoid slipping. Poor soundproofing—we could hear everything happening in the neighboring rooms. A musty, damp smell in both of our bathrooms. The positives - a breathtaking view from the hotel terrace and the upper-level room and a small free parking lot. Breakfast was included and was decent—boiled eggs, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, cottage cheese, mozzarella.

Booked this for 2 nights through Expedia. It looks rather quaint on arrival at night with all the pretty balloon lights. I booked the honeymoon suite with the spa Bath. The room is very dark dressed in burgundy drapes. The first night I slept like a log but soon after I realised how dark the room is and for me, it felt oppressive.
The bathroom after day 1 smelt stale and on inspection I noticed damp above the shower.

The staff at Cappadocia Caves are the best however, very helpful and friendly. The restaurant ladies are also extremely nice.
The breakfast offered was all you could want for breakfast. Plenty of choice.

All in all, the hotel offers good value for money.

Our stay at the Cappadocia Caves Hotel in Göreme was nothing short of magical! The hotel itself is a unique blend of traditional charm and modern comfort, with rooms beautifully carved into the rock, providing an authentic cave experience that’s both cozy and luxurious. The views from the terrace were simply breathtaking—watching the sunrise with hot air balloons dotting the sky was a memory we’ll cherish forever.

The breakfast was absolutely amazing! There was a generous spread of fresh, local delights, from delicious cheeses and olives to homemade jams and fluffy pastries. Everything was beautifully presented, and the flavors were just incredible. Enjoying breakfast on the terrace with a stunning view of the fairy chimneys made it even more special.

The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, offering great recommendations for tours and activities in the area. If you’re planning a trip to Cappadocia, I highly recommend staying at the Cappadocia Caves Hotel. Its a good hotel overall. The location was good. Only issue (nothing major) was that the dust keeps falling from the walls. Anything you keep close to the walls including the bedding gets filled with wall dust within hours. So had to keep all lugguage away from walls and even sleep on the opposite side of the bed as the headbord side of the bed that is close to the wall gets filled with dust overnight. One thing I learned is to book direct with hotel where ever possible because expedia makes it harder to make any changes even if the hotel wants to accomodate changes.

The City is Amazing overall but Hotel is just Okay, There is no service once you get inside the caves the Wifi is barely working.
The Bathroom Smells really bad makes me don’t even want to shower or even get in it at all.
The only great thing about this Hotel is the breakfast.

-Please rent a Car at your arrival or even do it online before your arrival, Private rides are overpriced.

Avoid!

I avoid writing negative reviews unless my experience is exceptionally poor. My experience with this hotel is one such example, and I feel compelled to warn fellow travellers before they book. The hotel is centrally located and the terrace has a nice view of the city and that's about it. The images on the booking platform were highly deceiving. Our room was dark and gloomy and with the window open it was too noisy. To make things worse, the AC didn't work during our entire stay. The duvet was way too small to cover two adults. The hair dryer was completely useless, only making loud noise without functioning. The breakfast was below average, and the staff were cold and unwelcoming. It's no surprise that we didn't receive a response when we requested an airport transfer via email prior to our arrival. Unfortunately, this was by far the most uncomfortable stay of our entire trip to Turkey. We won't be returning nor would we recommend this hotel to anyone else.

This property would deserve atleast 4.5*, except fot one thing. It is a \"cave\" hotel and A.C throws LOT of water, and by lot i mean A LOT of water inside the room because of the poor ventilation system. I have pictures/videos where the water was flooding our room. It happened 3 times during our 2 nights stay. We went out to eat, came back and there was water on one side of the bedroom, wetting my suitcase. Thank God it was hardshell. It happened again over night. Woke up int morning to the worse situation. Though front desk staff tried their best to clean but management didn't even apologized, even though front desk promised the manager will talk to us. The first night A.C wasn't working and it was quiet hot to sleep. They fixed that in the morning though.

The manager was very helpful, gracious and accommodating. All of the staff were friendly and polite. The pool was a perfect temperature. The location was close to many restaurants and shops. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Breakfast was disappointing, no taste of turkish food, the use leftover food for next day, everything was cold and not tasty, also shower leaks, the whole floor was wet and soaking in water, cleaners very unprofessional, I ordered food from their kitchen they didn’t let me to bring my food in the room while room service was promised! Overall if it wasn’t because of the city and what had offered I would have been completely disappointed

The room we stayed in has a huge bath room with no exhaust. The furnitures inside the room is a bit outdated making the room look old and dirty. The free breakfast was really good and has a lot of options. And the staffs were really nice.
