The hotel was not what I expected. The room looked picked up but definitely wasn’t clean. There was a strong smell of vomit and cigarettes, and the floor had noticeable stains. There was also an old cup left in the shower when we checked in, which made it clear the room hadn’t been cleaned properly. After checking in, we took a shower and water started leaking into the room below us. Instead of fixing the issue, we were basically told to deal with it. The TV remote didn’t work either — you could only turn the TV on and off, nothing else.Our bed sheets had stains, and when we asked for clean ones, we were told they couldn’t replace them. They briefly offered us a new room, then immediately switched to offering a refund if we wanted to leave. We ended up staying but only used the room to sleep. Breakfast is served across the street in a different building, which was inconvenient. Overall, if you’re just looking for a place to sleep and plan to be out all day, it gets the job done but don’t expect much more.

Rooms and lobby were clean overall, decently nice blankets on the bed, however a few things malfunctioned/did not work whatsoever. Hot water handle for the kitchenette sink did not work, cold worked fine. Shower (and all the other sinks) turned off halfway through for a few minutes, right bedside light didnt work either, but overall you pay for what you get. Its pretty nice for what it is.

I hate to write a negative review - but sometimes it's necessary to communicate... so that a business can understand what the "outside world" sees. Often times with "Value" properties - the owners are working hard, never leaving the property, but lose the ability to understand the true state of things. 1) The Expedia page showed their neighboring property hotel - not the motel. The lower rate puts you in an outdoor entrance motel. If I was traveling with wife/children, this would not be acceptable. 2) The room was rough. The toilet and bath was clean though! The rest? pretty bad... smell of weed hit me the moment I walked in (needs ozone cleaned!) cigarette burn in the top middle of the top blanket, lipstick print (full lips!) on sheets... 6" bashed hole in bathroom door, etc. 3) EVERY night after working a 12-14 hour day, after walking clear up to my room, I had to return to the office to get my key card re-activated. They only turn it on in 24 hour increments. 4) Breakfast looked/appeared to be less than appealing - lots of signs about not taking food out of area... (not a good thing for business travelers who may just want to grab a banana or yogurt for the road - not sitting for breakfast). Another note: It appears the property changed hands about 4-5 years ago - light bulbs are being swapped to the cheapest/whitest fluorescent bulbs. It has a very low end and stressful affect in the room and common areas.

This hotel has the name “Boutique” in it, but it is NOT! It’s more like a low end Days Inn. The night staff gave me a room after saying me reservation expired. It was almost midnight, as I’d had flight delays. I’d emailed and texted Hotels.com about my delay. The room smelled of marijuana and I was told there were no more rooms and offered a refund. I wasn’t in a place to find another hotel at midnight, but said I’d take the refund and check out at 9am. The sink counter was great along with the lighted mirror, and the staff was fine, but that’s it. Room needed paint, big dent in wooden bathrm door, shower curtain hanging off and the freeway noise was too loud to be able to sleep soundly. The breakfast didn’t start until 8am, I was first to arrive. They do not serve decaf! The basics were available, waffle, eggs, yogurt & fruit, but no decaf. There was no manager on site and the morning clerk barely spoke English, but enough to tell me to go to the other building and speak to another clerk. This clerk said I could only get a refund for the second night I cancelled but she could NOT give it, only a manager could and that would be Monday. Nothing went well at this place. It was cheap but I still didn’t get what I paid for.

The hotel stay was disappointing overall. The bed linens appeared very old and worn out, which affected the comfort and cleanliness of the room. Additionally, the washroom layout was inconvenient, as the hand basin, faucet, dressing mirror and countertop were detached and located outside the bathroom area instead of inside
Also, it’s close to highway noise from vehicles.
Terrible basic breakfast served across adjacent sister hotel. You have to walk across to next building

What concerned me most was that I accidentally left my AirPods under the pillow, with my phone number clearly written on the case. When I contacted the hotel, I was informed that they had not been found. It is difficult to understand how housekeeping could change the linens and make the bed without noticing a black AirPods case under the pillow. This experience left me frustrated and disappointed with the level of service and dishonesty.

We first got there and received a key to a king bed room when I booked for two. We then got moved to a double bed room that’s carpet was covered in blood stains like a massacre had occurred. The staff said there was no other rooms available and would fully refund the stay. I didn’t get a full refund.

The Sunday morning desk lady(young girl) just snatch the key cards from and shut the window. When I tried to ask for a receipt she told me to check my email and slammed the window shut and walked away

When I saw this I was I had picked the wrong hotel, but tried to make it work. I will not be returning to this location again

Not as advertised. The description for this property describes the adjoining property. This is a no frills, run down property that needs lots of love.
Literal hole in the wall in the bathroom, lumpy mattress, lights on the bed did not work. Musty smell masked by air freshener. A good strong push against the door would open it chained and locked (Housekeeping did exactly that).
I did not feel safe here.

Our room was awful. We were given a room in another building away from the main building. Our dirty white door was right off of the parking lot. The curtain had 2 holes in it that looked like bullet holes.. The carpet was dirty and stained. It had poor lighting. The sheets were cheap thin material. The bath towels were cheap thin towels. The bathroom walls had dirty marks on them. The bathtub had a chip in it. The tv was missing the power cord. We had to ask for one. It was a depressing room. We left one day early. The next 2 hotels we stayed at were also 3 star and they were both very nice. This room did not compare - it should be rated as a 1 star.

The first room I was given was a king one day and smelled like dog even though it says that there's no pets allowed it smells so horrible that I had to ask for a different room. When I asked the man changed me immediately two doors down to a room that smelled even worse so bad that I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep I told him don't worry about it and change my key back to the first room because I'm not going to be jumping from room to room just to find out that the next is worse and the next is worse so I left immediately and I stayed somewhere completely different and didn't even bother asking for the refund because I knew I wouldn't get it for like weeks because I went and paid with a gift card like an idiot. Didn't look nothing like the pictures I was not comfortable at all because of the smell and The Man behind the test said there's a zero pet policy in place to go get some rest somewhere else there is about six dogs in the parking lot being walked around and then there was a dog park behind the other hotel and to tell me that they're not pet friendly there, I wish I would have stayed at the Platinum where I've been staying for the last couple weeks very clean super awesome people.

First of all there are two hotels. I thought I was booked into the signature hotel, well I wasn't. They have the nice hotal then they have the secondary hotel. First of all the lights next to the bed didn't work and the room had an overpwoering smell of bleach. So bad that even candles and spray didn't help.
The morning, went to get some coffee and check out what was there. At 7:45 nothing was set up or ready. The woman setting things up seemed more worried about her phone conversation than doing her job. Came back an hour later, she was still on her phone. Waffles station was clean had hard boiled eggs and breads that were half empty. Asked about the scrambled egss she said they weren't making anymore and that was it for the breads. Can't forget the coffee was empty. Not once did this woman get off her phone to check anything. Sorry, she did to tell a lady she couldn't leave with her food.

This has to be one of the worst motels I’ve ever stayed at. My room was so disgusting that I didn’t even wanna walk on the carpet without socks or shoes on. At the gym here most of the equipment doesn’t even work and it smells so funny and gross. My boyfriend & I stayed in this hotel because it was close to the hospital in preparation for a surgery. The entire hotel smelled of old water like it recently flooded. The room looked nothing like the photo with water damage on the ceiling & paint chipped walls. We were on the third floor. There was a roach on top of the mirror upon entering the room. It was not the standard Texas water bug roach. It was the small dirty roach kind with an egg sticking out the back of it. We were scared to place our belongings on the dresser in fear of a roach climbing into our stuff. The staff moved us to the other building since both Palacio properties were in the same location, signature & boutique. They were very accommodating, no issues. The second building, boutique- smelled the same but at least we got a king size bed. The previous location, signature- we had two queen size beds & placed our things on the other bed. We checked in at 1am 07/16/25 to signature & checked out at 11am 7/18/25 from boutique. We told ourselves next time we’re in a crunch, we will pay a bit more to stay at the Sheraton down the street. You pay for what you get. It was under $60 a night.

My stay was MEH. This was the first hotel I've ever visited that didn't offer traditional housekeeping.

My main issue with this location was the fact that I requested a first floor room (I've got osteoarthritis in both knees). I received no reason on why I didn't get the 1st floor room. There was barely any interaction with the staff. It was okay for sleeping & watching television.

I pulled up to the police looking for a fugitive.
I had already paid for the room so I still checked in.
At 1st glance the room looks good. I start to get in the shower to start my evening and noticed white stuff everywhere so I go a napkin to wet it & noticed a used condom & wrapper in the trash. It was everywhere even on the doorknob. I was so disgusted when I figured out what it was. Mind you I had my granddaughter with me. It’s much more but long story short this platform doesn’t allow you to tell the hole story.

This property is not the cleanest, we had to be moved into 3 different rooms before we found a clean one. The housekeeping refused to clean this unknown substance that was on one of the hotel room floors. The man at the front desk man was rude and they don’t inform you that all the amenities are in the property across the street. Breakfast, the gym, and the pool are located in the property across the street, not in this hotel.

This place was absolutely disgusting. There was visible mold in the bathroom, and the smell in the room was so strong and musty I couldn’t fall asleep. Whatever they’re using to cover it up just made it worse. Don’t let the listing fool you! this is a motel, not a hotel, and definitely not worth what they’re charging. Save yourself the trouble and stay somewhere cleaner and more honest.
