We been staying here every time we go to my son wrestling tournaments. Its by eveything you need. Walmart, heb,mall Starbucks etc. The staff are super helpful,friendly! I love that it has shampoo,conditioner,bodywash if you forget yours and its good product. Its a little outdated still but hopeful it will get a upgrade soon 😉

Adequate but not worth the price I paid. The place needs renovation and updating.

Housekeeping was spotty: found an old French fry on the floor (ew); the toilet ran constantly; and both the shampoo and conditioner bottles in the shower were completely empty, which I did not learn until I was already in the shower.

When I informed the desk clerk about these issues at check-out, I was met with apathy instead of an apology. Given the number of options in the area, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

I usually like staying at Hilton Garden Inn because of the bar & small kitchen at the Garden Inns. Ive stay at this property a few times. The first time is was excellent. Yet i must have upset the bartender or something because she has been very rude to me ever since. I will never stay @ this Garden Inn again. When i am in the Katy area (for business) i will stay @ a Marriott property that has a bar & a small kitchen.

Junkyyyyy - does NOT live up to what I imagine “Hilton” to be. The money spent was double what it was worth. Never again - staff was very friendly, that was the only redeeming quality.
TV not working, stains on bath towel, the “H” for hot water was carved into the metal next to the “C” for cold … totally a janky experience.

Clean and Cold rooms!

I evacuated here during a hurricane and they did a fabulous job, especially while short handed. Evan at the front desk had a great calming presence and was incredibly helpful. The room was immaculate, no small feat during a natural disaster. Any dings on my rating are just due to the age of the property, could use a little face lift. But the rooms are clean and COLD and a blessing after a hurricane.

I thought Hilton was supposed to be a full service hotel. When My toilet clogged and I asked them to come help me (I'm 85 years old) all they did was leave a plunger by my door. You can't help a senior citizen better than that?

The hotel was very nice at first blush, the room and bathroom were very clean, except the headboard which apparently hadn't been cleaned of previous guests' hair oil for quite some time. We were not given vouchers when we checked in, so the breakfast was exorbitantly expensive for what you get and the made to order menu was largely unavailable. For $15.50 every day you get one scoop of scrambled eggs, home fries, either sausage or bacon and a biscuit. No variety. I suppose you can go back for seconds but we don't. There is also cereal, several bread products, fruit, very small containers of yogurt...exactly what you get at a hotel that offers free breakfast. I protested that I only wanted the yogurt bar and toast so after some discussion, they decided that they could charge $7.95 for that. Many of the staff at this hotel speak very broken English and apparently often don't understand it well which leads to problems. I don't begrudge them a job, but having one person on hand that speaks with reasonable clarity and understands English would be helpful. They were all very pleasant and tried hard except the desk clerk when we checked out who refused to give us a detailed receipt even as we tried to explain that we had used a different credit card checking in than the one used to hold the reservation, necessitating a call to the hotel today and a conversation with a very nice young man who will email me the receipt I requested. This hotel is just \"Ok\" for the cost.

I got a bunch of what appears to be bed bug bites for my two night stay. The bathroom sink are too small and the bathtub didn't have any lights above it. Otherwise, the service was good and the location was convenient. Thank you!

Unfortunately they put me in a room right next to an evening birthday party where there was loud music, someone on the mic, and high traffic in the hallway. We had to be up at 4am to get back on the road and didnt get much sleep at all. I am all for a hood bday party and glad they had a good time...BUT
...It would have been nice to be warned about the scheduled party in hopes to give me the option of another room or to cancel my stay.

Really horrible experience. Upon arriving, we realized that our sink was stopped up. It took 3 hrs to get someone up to assist. The room and rr had mold rr had black mold… I saw a double charge on my account but the clerk was very rude about it. Breakfast is a voucher we use and the kitchen staff handled the bacon with bare hands… I usually enjoy the Hilton stays but this one was not great at all.

My family had stayed at this location earlier in the week during our traveling; from that stay we knew we wanted to stay there on our way back and reserved and paid for a room through Expedia. BIG MISTAKE! Upon arrival, I was asked if I was the \"Expedia lady\" with a disgusted look.
After being checked in, I was informed that the key maker was down. We asked for a refund and was denied that because we paid online through a 3rd party (Expedia).
We had to be followed around by the front desk lady to be let in and out of our room, even the front doors!!! I went to the gardens and asked if I would be able to get back in, the lady said she had unlocked all the doors in the building for those that didn't have keys.....I was trapped outside in the garden for almost an hour (because the door was NOT unlocked) while the front desk lady sat on the couch on her phone. Her I looked like a crazy lady banging on windows and giggling a locked door to get anyone's attention to let me back in the dang hotel. The second room (the entire stay) was awful. Had I had anything near that experience the first stay, I would have definitely changed hotels.
Learned my lesson on paying for a room online!!!

Everything was very nice! Staff was exceptional, very nice and friendly.
Only one complaint! We thought that breakfast complimentary. After standing in and waiting for a lady to get 5 styrofoam trays of food trays, we were told about obtaining vouchers from the desk. My husband was not happy and refused to eat. The desk did apoligize and compted my voucher. I think it was a waste ot time for the hotel. Just have a free coffe bar & put muffins, honey buns, cereal, milk, juice, etc. in the little store. Just a suggestion.
Needless to say we went across the parking lot to Dennys the next day.
But other than that, we had a very nice stay. Good place to stay.

Covid Policies Not Followed By Own Staff.

Person that checked me in was not wearing a mask, even though there was a sign that stated Hampton Inn's position on that was that all employees and guests are required to have a mask while indoor common areas.

person that checked me in was not behind glass, even though one register had glass in front and one did not, she chose the one that did not. So, I was very uncomfortable and did not feel protected, even though I was wearing a mask.

Hotel room has Lysol seal on door that was broken, so I was not sure if my room had been sanitized or not, so I had to spend the next 30 minutes at the end of my day being tired, using my own sanitizing supplies to make sure surfaces in the room were clean.

My parents and I took safe harbor here during the Texas freeze 2021. The staff all seemed to work round the clock, they were simply outstanding. It seems like they really made a lovely connection with every guest. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Thank you, HGI Katy!

The first room I was given was at the top floor, right at end of corridor. When I opened the door the TV was on and both beds were slept in. I had to drag all my bags back down stairs to get another room.

The young gentleman who was there when we arrived around 4 pm on Saturday was amazing, Polite and professional and super friendly, the lady who comes in the morning was Kinda rude, and did not seems to care about a paying customer at all, also, the NoGYM at a hotel is crazy, they can close it down if there is more then 10 people using it, but when there is only one person at the gym it would be stupid to kick him out, especially if that person wasn't using the machines and just using the floor to work out. Would I come back and check at this Hotel again, I don't think so, I paid more thinking this would be a good sty but I was wrong, the Hotel right access was amazing and I did not even have a working fridge in my room.

I had a problem with our mattress in the room. It had a deep indention that felt like you were sleeping in a hole. I spoke with three different people at guest services and sent an email to the manager.

Nothing was done. Upon check out the front person said there was nothing that he could do and told me to contact Expedia which most likely would not do anything either.

I have never had any type of problem like this before. Very unsatisfactory service.
