Wonderful location right next to the tram station, close to all the main attractions, and with easy access to plenty of great restaurants. The entire staff is very friendly and treats guests like family. Special thanks to the receptionists—Timur and Yunus—who are incredibly helpful and offer excellent hospitality. We would definitely stay here again!

Once again had a wonderful stay at Pierre Loti/Aya Sofia hotel. The hotel is situated right in the heart of Sultanahmet. Amazing panorama from Roof restaurant. Bistro restaurant also very good food and well placed. Reception staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. We didnt get his name but the guy on during rhe day was brilliant. I have been here .many times and will hopefully return soon

We liked the hotel staff and the breakfast at Pierre Loti. The location was excellent as it was centrally located with every main attraction within walking distance. The shower and toilet and wash basin where set in separate arrangement which we did not prefer but thats our preference.

The location is excellent—central and convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was quite good. However, I’m giving this hotel only two stars due to how we felt during our stay. My girlfriend and I were given a room that felt like a spare or downgraded option—very small, with a tiny window and no view, nothing like the photos of what we booked and paid for. We later noticed on the fire evacuation plan that our room was significantly smaller than the others on the floor, likely due to its location next to the staircase leading to the rooftop terrace. This reinforced our impression that we were given an inferior room that should have been priced and disclosed differently. The card reader in the room was faulty, making it difficult to turn on the electricity. Although staff attempted to fix it, the problem persisted throughout our stay. The worst part was the airport transfer. The concierge arranged a taxi and confirmed in front of the driver a fixed price of 1,400 TL. However, upon arrival at the airport, the driver became aggressive, demanding more money for supposed toll fees. I gave him 1,600 TL just to avoid further confrontation. This was very upsetting and unprofessional. When a hotel staff arranges transport, they need to ensure that the drivers are reliable and won’t harass or try to extort their guests. Unfortunately, this experience, along with the room situation, overshadowed the positives that this hotel has.

Great boutique hotel in amazing location. Staff were so helpful and kind, we loved Yousuf, the housekeeping and reception staff, they were always happy to help. Room was a bit snug for 3 people but very manageable. My only qualm was the pillow was a bit high and hard but I should’ve asked reception to change it. Breakfast was lovely and I would definitely recommend it to others. Spa was a bit pricey compared to other places and the roof top views were amazing, although they don’t serve shisha upstairs.

Don't select this hotel just looking at the pictures. Most of the pictures are fake. Rooms are tiny , toilet and shower is literally next to your bed. This is the first time, I have seen a toilet setup like this. Also toilet and shower doors doesn't close properly. Pillows are like hard rock. I would never stay on this hotel again.

Hotel is conveniently located in the old town and within walking distance to public transport to go further afield. The reception staff were very informative and assisted with your bookings.
The hotel has a lovely rooftop bar and restaurant which was a plus.
The elevator needs some upgrades and is slow. It often would go in the opposite direction.

Mediocre hotel in the centre of Istanbul

The only thing going for this hotel is the central location (which is on a pedestrian street meaning taxis can’t always drop off outside). In other countries this would be a 3 Star hotel… it is old fashioned; doesn’t offer basic services like 24 hour room service. The roof top restaurant is great, but it is separate from the hotel. I ordered a bottle of wine to take back to my room, but was told I’d have to get two wine glasses from reception. The rooms are small with shower and toilet facilities that are more like a portacabin. Likewise, the so called ‘Spa’ is a separate business and costs in addition to the room price. The therapist was not at work the weekday I was there, meaning the spa was closed. Overall, the hotel is very dated; the service male dominated. This is not a hotel to stay in if you are looking for something a bit special and to experience the magic of Istanbul.

We stayed overnight did too x connecting flight. The staff is outstanding and responsive to my requests even before we arrived. The location couldn’t bd better. Hagia Sofia, the Blue mosque are about 13 minutes. Numerous shops and restaurants are at the doorsteps. The hotel has a beautiful rooftop restaurant. A second restaurant are ground floor. In the limited hours we had, we were able to shop, dine snd offer prayers at Hogia Sofia. Metro station is few minutes away. The hotel provided airport shuttle for $50 which was a very good deal and safe. On our way back from Finland, we have made a reservation to stay at this hotel again for 2 nights

We decided on this property due the reputation it holds but we’re very disappointed that the AC was not working during our stay. No fans were provided when requested and were told there was an electricity issue. During our whole stay we had sleepless nights due to the heat and nothing was done to rectify this despite numerous requests. No apology from the manager either. Compared to other places with AC this hotel sets their AC at a high temperature and it is fixed, you will not be able to lower it. We did not look forward to coming back to our rooms to sleep knowing that we will be very uncomfortable. It was cooler in McDonald’s!! I would pay half the rate they charge here. Not worth the high money paid.

A beautifully maintained hotel with really warm staff who are very attentive and friendly .
The location is great with easy access to all tourist destinations .
It has an excellent on site restaurant and also hundreds of other restaurants and cafes within within distance .
The tram is also a few minutes walk from the hotel, very easy to get to shopping areas
.
The breakfast has a good choice to start the day with hot ans cold items .
The room we had was superior which was an upgrade with a lovely balcony with fantastic views of Istanbul . It was spotless with a luxurious bathroom with separate marble rain shower and a jet spa tub . Lots of toiletries in the room , loofahs, dental kits etc
The maintenance team in particular Nibehat were always checking if we needed anything like water , towels .
The reception staff were also always pleasant always smiling and welcoming.
I have been to Istanbul many times and I would definitely recommend this hotel .

Excellent stay in this gorgeous Hotel, my husband and I were returning to Istanbul for our 20th wedding anniversary we had our honeymoon in Istanbul and have been there many times before as we used to live in Northern Cyprus. I chose the hotel mainly for its location and rooftop restaurant, we always stay in this location as we think it is the best oldest part of the city. If it is your first time everything is within walking distance : ). The staff were amazing and a special mention for Tolga on reception who was just so helpful and really made our stay a pleasure all of the staff were amazing and very friendly if we return to Istanbul which is likely as we love it there we will definately return to the Lottie Cok Guzel

There are multiple great things about the hotel. The location is awesome. We were walking distance to a number of key tourist spots. The service at the hotel was excellent. The staff (particularly Tolga) went above and beyond to take care of me and my wife. The room size was alright considering the central location of the hotel. The breakfast is also good although not a lot of hot food options.

Best hotel out of 4 hotels I have stayed in Turkey! They hire the friendliest and most professional people. Lady at breakfast area patiently answered my questions about the local food served and she obviously took pride in how all the pastries were made in-house. Doorman helped me carry my luggage one block away to my taxi.

The location is also perfect for the average tourist. It is minutes walk away from Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, and a bunch of great restaurants.

The rooms are a bit small and not as luxurious as expected, but I found most hotels rooms in Turkey tend to be small by China/US/Europe standards, also given its central location and price point, can’t complain about this.

Amazing, convenient location

The hotel was amazing. It's a modern hotel and has everything you need and the location is extremely convenient as it's literally 5 min walk to Blue Mosque/Hagia Sofia, and about 7 mins or so towards the Grand Bazaar. The hotel comes off the main road where the tram is used so you can just hop on a tram if you want to visit other places such as Taksim square/istiklal in Beyoglu. Would highly recommend this place.

Only let down by the lack of sound proofing between rooms (I could hear every word of a loud female resident in the neighboring room).
Also, can the management fix the doors - you have to slam them to engage the locking system - which makes everyone jump throughout the day and night!

Hotel accommodations were excellent! Prior to our trip, staff responded to all my questions via phone and WhatsApp. The pick up at the Airport was very professional and fast to find as indicated with instructions. Upon arrival staff right away offered support helping with luggage and registration. Room was nicely decorated, down to the cute testtube toiletries. The bed was comfortable, the cleaning staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was the best offering different menu and taste food being exposed to the Turkish Cuisine. All ladies working in the kitchen deserve a high recognition on the way they prepared food like home cooking. The location was great to major turistic areas, walkable and the plus Metro across the street! I will stay here again! Only one recommendation, bathroom door may be improved by providing more privacy. Order than that a great service hotel!

The location is very good but the hotel is not as luxurious as expected. They say spa is on premises it is just a beauty studio really. For me a spa is indoor pool and open to all for use not only if you pay for a massage can you go to sauna. As that is all there is. Hot water in room very low pressure. This beautiful boutique hotel is very well located in the heart of the Sultanahmet neighborhood, within walking distance of most of the tourist attractions in Istanbul. Staff are amazing they made our stay welcome. Easy to get everywhere via tram lots of eating places. I will recommend this hotel to everyone.
