Lobby is large and also with a working area. Behind check in counter is the bar for beer and soft drinks. Check in time is 1500 come early has to stay in lobby area. Only down side is room doesn’t have air conditioning and you have to open the window. Overall is clean and well maintained, already came back to second time.

The staff were genuinely friendly, and the bed was very comfortable—complete with a privacy curtain that made it feel cosy and private. I appreciated the spacious storage setup: two lockers and a drawer provided plenty of room for my belongings.
Despite being in a bunk bed, I didn’t notice any squeaking or movement when someone used the top bunk, which made for a restful experience. The blackout shutter on the window blocked out light completely, and the road outside was quiet at night—perfect for uninterrupted sleep.
The only thing I’d suggest is adding one more bathroom and shower room, especially for busier periods.
Location-wise, it’s not too far from Bordeaux city centre. I actually enjoyed the 40-minute walk into town—it was a pleasant way to start the day.

Overall, the facilities were very good in this hostel: the bed was very comfortable and the shower great, in fact too hot (which you can't always say). I liked the idea of the curtain per bed as it offers good privacy. I liked the fact that there was a happy hour involving cocktails but only on Tuesdays and I arrived at the hostel at 21.45 pm but had to wait at the check in until the person in front of me had finished so that ended up being 22.00 when the happy hour was over so I couldn't get a cocktail or a coffee as the cafe closed at 22.00 so a little bit annoying.
The female staff member who gave me loads of helpful info the following morning was very good. She also allowed me to print a copy of my boarding pass at reception which was handy.

It would be nice to have free tea/coffee offered to tourists all day similar to other hostels as it's a nice extra.

A great hostel truly one of the best
Arrived here around 5pm as my air b and b was a, single room with me sleeping on the floor so I decided to check out this hostel after a good friendv told me and reading the reviews I checked in it was easy the staff amazeing, room a little cramped sleeping areas clean roomy and a curtain for privacy I used the down stairs toilet as out toilet to our room was engaged. I stayed for one night had breakfast at 7.50 euros carnt fault it good selection of jucied bread cheese ham cereal ect. Also thier is a happy hour on the evening from 6 till 10. All in all a great stay.

The hostel was clean and comfy. It’s a 15 minutes tram ride to city centre which is very convenient and there are CCTV/lockers available so it’s very safe too. Only issue seems to be that you share 2 showers amongst I’d imagine ~30 people when the hostel is fully booked. That said, would highly recommend and the stay was very nice!

Déçue du très court passage dans l'hôtel dont je nai pas pu profiter de la chambre car la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas depuis plusieurs jours et pas réparée. Nous avons eu un petit ventilateur qui ne braissait que de l'air chaud. Il faisait plus de 30 degrés, ayant des problèmes respiratoires et suffocation dû a la chaleur. Nous avons dû quitter l'hôtel dans la précipitation dans profiter de notre chambre, sans remboursement ni geste commercial. Frais supplémentaires pour trouver un autre hébergement dans un autre établissement.

Séjour de une nuit pour une visite de bordeaux, hôtel bien mais le système de refroidissement d'air est inexistant, aucune aération. Il faisait plus chaud à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur.

cette fois-ci, je n'ai pu dormir que 2 petites heures, trop de bruits trop longtemps des autres occupants du dortoir (8 lits), compliqué quand on est en transit pendant un long voyage (travail), heureusement, c'est largement compensé par l'accueil, l'amabilité et les bons conseils des réceptionnistes... C’était super dans l’ensemble. Le personnel est accueillant et l’environnement est agréable. Petit bémol pas des moindres il n’y a pas de diffuseur de parfum ou même des produits senteurs dans les toilettes. Sachant que les chambres sont petites alors quand quelqu’un rentre au toilette l’odeur remplit la chambre. Et le lavabo également sentait mauvais au matin. Donc peut être mettre un petit produit à coté également pour le lavabo.

It is a bit far away from the train station, but easy to get there using a city bike (1 €). Excellent clean rooms and facilities, lots of safe storage available for your stuff. There are even curtaibs for your privacy on the bed.

Je viens depuis septembre 2024 et franchement cette auberge est vraiment génial, les personnes qui travaillent sont à l’écoute, compréhensive et essaye toujours d’arranger les problèmes si besoin. Malheureusement certains clients sont pas très respectueux dans les chambres, le fait de faire du bruit à 1h alors que tout le monde dort manger dés aliments à forte odeur à 23h ( chambre avec une odeur horrible toute la nuit ) les personnes sale et j’en passe malheureusement les personnes ne sont pas toujours respectables mais les professionnels font de leurs possible pour nous aider à passer de bonne nuit et de bon séjour, ils sont toujours de bonne humeur et ça fait chaud aux cœurs merci à toute l’équipe ; )
