Hotel is around 40 mins up a hill from the centre of Carcassone and public transport to get there isn’t good. There isn’t much around there so if you don’t have a car be prepared to get a lot of steps in. The room itself could do with a renovation.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was extremely impressed with the cleanliness of the property. From the lobby to the rooms, everything was spotless and well-maintained. The staff did an excellent job of keeping the hotel in top condition.

One of the highlights of my stay was the ample parking available at the hotel. I had no trouble finding a spot close to the entrance, and the parking lot was well-lit and felt safe. This made coming and going from the hotel a breeze, and I appreciated not having to worry about finding a parking spot.

Overall, I had a great experience at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean and convenient place to stay. The cleanliness and parking situation really set this hotel apart from others in the area.

Stayed for one night before flying out from Carcassonne. A bit difficult to find but with large secure car park. Clean and comfortable room. We didn't use the basic kitchenette but it looked fine.

The hotel is easily found on the outskirts of Carcassonne and there is a reliable bus service right outside the gate that takes you to the station. From there it is a pleasant walk through the city to the Citadel.
The hotel itself was clean and well kept however the WiFi was unreliable and when it was accessed it was extremely slow.

Hotel is ok but room smelt of fish for the night we were there, previous people obviously had a takeaway or cooked indoors! Could of been cleaner too but aircon worked well! Pool smaller than photos show and you have to drive or get a taxi like we did if you wish to venture out to medieval city, will set you back €30 there and back! Preferred Cerisse south that we used last year!

Adequate but could have been cleaner

The room was nice and perfectly adequate for our needs. The visit was spoiled however because the room had cobwebs in one corner of the ceiling and the previous occupant had left mud/ dirt marks high up on the bathroom entrance which had not been cleaned off before our arrival. We also could not swim in the pool on arrival as it was full of leaves and debris from the wind (ie: insufficient maintenance). We were only staying 4 nights so decided it wasn’t worth complaining but it detracted from an otherwise pleasant stay. The cleaners need to be told to look upwards when cleaning as everywhere else was ‘spotless’. Great location near a Carrefour supermarket and retail park with some restaurants. You need a car or taxi to get into the town however as it’s a 30 minute walk to Place Carnot in the town centre.

Very Poor Service; No Staff Onsite! No a/c!

Terrible experience! 1st we arrived around 11PM very tired and couldn't even get inside the hotel. Took about an hour to 'break' in. We found out later that there's no staff onsite after 9PM, so no front desk or even a security guard onsite --very strange for a good sized hotel like this. Shame on this hotel for trying to cut corners to this extreme! We had no internet/wireless/service on our cell phones & didn't know in advance that there was no staff after 9 PM so it was very stressful arriving tired at 11PM feeling like intruders. There wasn't even a sign or phone to use on the outside to advise guests of this strange procedure. Luckily a fellow traveler was in the lobby eventually &saw us outside fumbling around & got us in touch with the off site hotel staff &access the lock box (he said he had the same experience too). To be fair, an email had been sent a few hours before we arrived that had info re: late arrivals in it but we were traveling with no access to emails. The \"no front deck after 9 PM\" should've been clearly stated in the booking site ad upfront so guests could decide if this is the kind of place they want to book BEFORE they book it! Another disaster is that the hotel was advertised as having a/c. It's part of the reason we booked it since many airbnbs don't have a/c. But upon arrival once we finally got in& settled, we couldn't get the a/c to work. It was so late &we were so tired that with no front desk available we just
sweated it out; no staff help.

Good value for money & easy access.

A pleasant stay, better then you might expect for the low price. Can't comment on the larger options but the single/double apartment room was small and compact but had everything I needed and was clean.
Decent air conditioning, comfy bed and a black out curtain & blind made for a quality sleep, and the place was quiet. (stayed early September).
The hotel is well outside the city area but by a main road and easy to access the tourist area, motorways and supermarkets nearby. Staff were very friendly, although the reception desk does close by 9pm.
There is a small grass area enclosed by the hotel building and bordered with trees, and a small swimming pool. The large car park is gated and secured at night. A decent continental buffet breakfast is offered additionally.
Overall, I'd certainly stay here again, and recommend this hotel/apartment as a great base to stay on a budget :)

Difficult to stay here without a car

For the young and hardy, the walk from this hotel into town and then onto the medieval city is not so bad. In my 70s I did it myself. Having to do it because public transportation is poor and taxis are erratic is not acceptable. Though the rooms include meager kitchens, buying food requires a car or the willingness to walk more than 2 miles round trip on a busy road with no sidewalk. My recommendation for Carcassonne: stay in a downtown hotel or bring your own car. Otherwise, you'll spend too much time worrying about (or waiting for) transportation that may or may not show up.

Comfortable hotel on the edge of Carcassonne. Rooms have kitchen facilities.Staff were very helpful.
10/15 minute walk to the station or 10euro taxi run to the old town.
WiFi only available in the lobby, to good enough in today's market.

Excellent value for money.Clean, good size room with comfortable twin beds, nice bathroom & kitchenette,Polite,friendly & honest staff (left passport etc in bumbag there!)Pool smaller than appears in pic but very appealing. A 15 min walk to Canal du Midi where are restaurants but need to drive 10 mins to medieval city where plenty of parking.Takeaway pizza 2 mins from apartments.
Good standard friendly apartments & would stay again.

3 day stay spoilt by the distance from town. 20 minutes (up hill) on the way back. If you have a car then the hotel does what it says and the hotel is simple, clean, bright, and friendly. Ps don't forget reptile closes for three hours mid day.

Good points: the hotel was very good value at about 25 GBP a night in August, including free car park, small but ok pool, and wifi in communal areas. Staff were very helpful. There is a communal laundry, although the dryer wasn't working.

Minuses: the rooms are a little shabby, the sofabed not very comfortable. There is an ethernet cable in the rooms but it won't fit some (many?) makes of modern laptop.

Note: reception is not staffed 24 hours. If you plan to arrive after 9pm (check on this time, it might change) then you need to call in advance to get key codes for the car park and for your room key.

Ok apartment with hotel pool, parking at front with a lift. Beware that check in does not open until 3pm and as we experienced there will be a queue waiting and takes a long time. Neighbourhood is bland. But the medieval village approx 7ks away is fabulous and a must see.

Would not stay at this hotel again, way to far from the city, €20 taxi ride from the Airport. The room was simple and I thought it was over priced for what you got. No front desk staff during the evening to morning and no wifi in the rooms, only in a small sitting area that also had to plugs. Wasn't thrilled

comfortable and affordable Carcassonne

Cerise Nord was very enjoyable. The appartment was roomy , clean and comfortable. The building is well maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful. Access to the pool was a big plus as I visited during a heatwave. The hotel is a bit distant from the medieval city (40 min. Walk) and the train station (20 min walk) but the walk is a pleasant one (going downhill to the city so up hill to the hotel!) Another thing that might be a bit annoying for some is that there is no wi-fi in the rooms, only wired internet connexion. However, wifi is available in public areas and that was sufficient for me. I definitely recommend this hotel if you do not mind the distance to main attractions.

The apartment was equipped with the necessary basic equipment however the only bed was a sofa bed which was uncomfortable and certainly not what I expect. I've stayed in an Appart'City hotel before which was far better, I'm not sure I would be staying again.

Notre animal a été très bien reçu, nous aussi. Il a apprécié les gamelles d'eau et les espaces verts. La chambre était impeccable, spacieuse et la kitchenette vraiment complete pour qui se servirait d'autre chose que de la bouilloire. Le petit déjeuner etait très appétissant et formidablement présenté. Il est complet et la petite dame qui fait ce petit plaisir propose volontiers de vous coquer des oeufs. Nous avons apprécier l'agreabilité de tout le personnel croisé. L'endroit est agréable, la terrasse bord de piscine un vrai plaisir, le parking immense. C'etait une première fois. Nous retournerons là à chaque fois qu'une pause s'imposera sur Carcassonne lors de trajet professionnel.

Notre séjour c’est bien passé, endroit propre,
Bon accueil, mais juste le minimum, un papier donné, pour les codes d’accès, mais aucune communication des services proposés par l’établissement, on a deviné où était la piscine cachée derrière les haies de buissons, entretien piscine moyen des feuilles et insectes flottaient dans l’eau, et sur 3 parasols présent autour de la piscine un seul était en fonction mais toile était décrochée sur le côté les 2 autres était cassé , dur dur avec cette canicule, et notre frigo dans la location ne fonctionnait pas c’est dommage avec cette chaleur de ne pas avoir eu d’eau fraîche en rentrent de la piscine un peut dessus, mais ne restent qu’une seule nuit, on a simplement prévenu à la réception à notre retour de la piscine qu’il était en panne , mais comme quoi le contrôle du matériel des appartements ne son pas regardé avant la mise à disposition des clients c’est vraiment dommage, si non les apparts hôtel c’est tres pratique pour son autonomie, à par ça, l’appartement était bien, bon couchage .

Lo bueno del hotel es aparcamiento privado y gratuito que hay justo en frente, está vallado y entras con un código que te dan al entrar al igual que la puerta de entrada si no están en recepción.
La piscina está bien, pequeña pero para darte un chapuzón los días de calor está bien.
Respecto a las habitaciones, el colchón de la cama estaba hundido por el centro, era un poco incómodo.La cocina le faltaban vasos, tiene una pequeña nevera y microondas.Estuvimos tres días y no entraron ningun día a cambiar las toallas. Las ventanas le faltan un poco de limpieza porque habían telarañas.Le pedimos un rollo de WC al chico que había haciendo habitaciones y se puso como una fiera, y al final no nos lo dió.
La zona es tranquila, está a 10 min en coche de la cité.
Los de recepción no entienden español pero amables.
Falta secador de pelo en el baño.
Solo se pilla canal sur y con interferencias, y el wifi lo pillas a ratos.

El apartamento tiene una cocina abierta con nevera, placas eléctricas y un microondas. A 5min en coche hay un Carrefour enorme donde encuentras de todo y más tiendas. El apartamento es correcto, hay jabón para los platos y tb de manos y para ducharse y las toallas están incluidas. La cama de matrimonio es bastante cómoda y el sofá del comedor se convierte en dos camas de 90m que para los niños fueron más que suficiente. El lugar es silencioso, así que se descansa bien. Y el aparcamiento tiene verja que se abre con código, igual que la puerta al edificio cuando no hay recepción, así que hay bastante seguridad. Fácil desplazamiento en coche a todos los lugares interesantes de la zona.

Prestation en diminution , déçu

Depuis 2019, je suis déjà venu cinq fois voir six et juste y a mon dernier séjour. Je n’avais pas été déçu. Mais là cette année la prestation de la chambre n’était pas à la hauteur de ce que j’avais déjà vu, elle m’qui était abîmée, il nous manquait une chaise, pas de verre pour se laver les dents, le service Pour faire la vaisselle, pas de torchon, une seule pastille pour le lave-vaisselle pour notre séjour de trois jours, la literie j’en parle pas vraiment pourrie pour l’accueil dans ma chambre de la verveine avec une seule tasse, il nous manquait une tasse et quand nous sommes arrivés le matin malheureusement nous n’avons pas eu notre chambre de disponible avant 13h30. C’est dommage nous avons dû attendre car nous sommes arrivés à 10h. Les autres années. Nous avons eu notre chambre de disponible et nous avons rendu la chambre jeudi matin à 5h pour que nous puissions récupérer notre avion à Toulouse. Cette année n’est pas le meilleur séjour que nous avons passé dans cet hôtel.

La chambre est très grande, un vrai appartement, par contre le sommier est très dur et il y avait beaucoup de bruit. J'entendais les voisins du dessus.
Sinon l'appart hôtel est très bien situé et très agréable.

J'ai dormi dans ma voiture.

L'établissement n'accueille pas 24h/24h mais ce n'est pas clairement stipulé avant d'avoir réservé. Résultat je suis arrivé quelques minutes après que le concierge soit parti et n'ai pas pu dormir dans la chambre que j'avais pourtant réservé. Personne ne vous appelle pour vous prévenir si ils ne vous voient pas arriver, personne ne vous donne de numéro à contacter si jamais cela arrive etc.. j'ai dû dormir dans ma voiture.

Malgré cette situation absolument catastrophique, je suis certain que je ne serai jamais dédommagé. Je ne recommande pas. Comfort Apparthotel viennent de perdre un client.

Le meilleur rapport qualité prix de Carcassonne !

Je suis un habitué de cet hôtel qui représente pour moi la meilleure option qualité prix sur Carcassonne. Apart hôtel bien équipé, chambre très grande. Piscine, fitness, parking gratuit pour moins de 50 euros ! Et en plus une équipe professionnelle et accueillante ...que voulez vous de plus !

Bon accueil et petit déjeuner très bien géré. Chambre confortable mais la propreté était vraiment médiocre dans notre appartement (couvertures sales, traces douteuses sur les interrupteurs de la chambre, …). Accueil et réception très bien.

Mercados navideños en Carcassonne

Tuvimos un problema con las dos habitaciones al llegar pero lo solucionaron rápido y nos regalaron el desayuno del primer día. Fácil acceso con aparcamiento gratuito. El único inconveniente, la moqueta horrible. El personal muy amable. El desayuno correcto pero poco variado.

Habitué de cet établissement qui vient de changer de Nom, je n'ai jamais été déçu. Toute l'équipe fait son possible pour un séjour agréable. Apart hôtel très spacieux. Professionnels et sympathiques, rien à redire sur l'accueil, l'entretien et les conseils. Bravo !
