Staff were friendly and helpful, on arrival the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly there were still hairs on the bathroom floor, the shower didn’t have much pressure.
The gym was good with decent facilities but the sauna and steam room were really busy right up until the closed. The changing rooms were really dirty, floors soaking wet with wet wipes laying around.
It was an ok stay but didn’t feel like it was value for money because of the negatives mentioned above

Amazing hotel, adequate spa. Whilst the pool is slightly warmed it quickly turns cold and it is missing a jacuzzi badly. Service in the hotel is second to none, every meal was lush and breakfast especially good. All the staff were courteous and prompt with any request. Would definitely stay again in a heartbeat, just leave the trunks at home.

Disappointed to find that when you book through Expedia you have to pay extra at the hotel to use the pool and spa (£30 I think it was). I think you also pay extra for parking although the hotel waived that for us. So that why I downgraded to 3 stars (Expedia needs to make it clearer when you book).

The highlight for us were the friendly and helpful staff in every department from checking in, to the bar staff, breakfast staff and those in the Spa. We were very impressed, you choose your staff well, 1st class. We really enjoyed spending the day in the Spa, excellent pool.

We stayed with our 4 year old son, when we got to the room there was a small rob, slippers, travel set of shampoo etc along with juice and a couple of extra treats for him. It was a really nice touch! The room was plenty big enough for the three of us. Breakfast was great. Only thing I would say is that parking is fairly expensive and the extra fee to use the pool is disappointing. Other than that it was a great stay

Amazing stay for the wifes birthday - spa is really good we go to a lot of spa breaks but this is up there with the bedt food was excellent and really loved the outdoor terrace area for a drink.- a massive thanks to Skye on reception who gave us a warm yorkshire welcome and made sure our stay was the best.

Great hotel and very nice. However I wasn’t aware when booking that use of the gym and spa facilities would be an extra £15 along with £12 for 24 hours parking. That’s the only thing for me that let it down. Other than that, great stay.

There was a feeling of u safe in the property from when i parked my car in the car park to when I entered my room.
If not that i was tired and arrived at night, id have left for another place.
Staff were not welcoming at all and spoke as though not interested in their job.
I ordered dinner to my room and it came uncovered having travelled a far distance from the restaurant area where i ordered it from- how grim!!!the plates looked old, uninviting and dead.
The room was tattered, with mouldy and rusty walls. The moment i stepped into the bath for a shower, the curtains and rods fell. Everywhere looked irritating with a rusty sink which i couldn't brush om And there was a foul smell in the room that made me feel sick.
Bathroom had a sticker that says slipper bath and they did nothing such as provide a math to protect you!
The room door had a sticker which said lock your door which told me that i easnt safe- i prayed to God for protection that night and come morning, i said a prayer of thanksgivung and ran out skipping breakfast, ofcourse!

payed for a 1 night stay in a premium room that was not cleaned properly and the buffet breakfast was a shambles i queued for 15 mins for a hot breakfast when i prebooked a time for the breakfast only to be told on arrival at the hotplate that i needed to preorder my poached eggs at the table. Me and my daughter stayed and we loved it. The children’s spa dressing gown & slippers with activity colouring set was a lovely touch for my daughter. The staff were super friendly and the restaurant staff. The spa is great for families and accommodating for children. Beautiful place, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here if need be in the future BUT!! Service was very poor, very slow, 45min wait for food, the restaurant was pretty cold too and the drinks and food expensive, £2.75 for a handful of Japanese rice crackers! Improve the above and I’d happily recommend this hotel to friends and relatives.

Arrived to a very poor check in lady with a chip on her shoulder.
I had stayed two weeks earlier and had booked through Hotels.com.
Lady seemed annoyed I hadn’t booked direct so proceeded to tell me I would have to pay for parking and for use of the leisure / spa facilities. This would add £30 to my stay. This never happened two weeks ago.
She didn’t tell me I had to book dinner so arrived to be told they were full but they managed to squeeze me in.
I will not return.

Hotel was 4.5 star as great facilities room and staff. We had evening meal and breakfast and good quality food and service. Super pool gym and spa made it a special stay. Also very convenient location near M1 junction yet still peaceful site.

This hotel is truly exceptional. The breakfast features a fresh and healthy selection, and the staff is both friendly and helpful. The interactive breakfast experience was a highlight for my child, who can’t wait to return. The spa and gym are impeccably clean and well-maintained.

Such a lovely stay in a Junior Suite - perfect for my disabled Grandad and his carers to be close by and have quality time with family in Leeds.
Carpark could be better as you need to pay extra for it if you don’t book directly, and then get the ticket validated every single time you go to leave.
Spa is lovely, but again, an additional cost if you don’t boom directly.

Beautiful hotel& friendly staff. The pool area was lovely we didn’t want to get out! Please keep in mind this hotel has lots of members who come for a swim daily - and does get crowded, most of the time all ok though! We moved rooms as someone had requested ours on the second night - but we didn’t mind as we got a fresh clean room! Staff are amazing in the restaurant and everyone has a smile on their faces. Thankyou for a wonderful time!

The unexpected car parking fees of £12 per day for residents. There was no mention of this in the booking info or confirmation. The staff contacted prior to our stay to push a booking for dinner and spa but no mention of car parking fees.

I just stopped for one night, we were at a friend's wedding at the hotel, It was a wonderful hotel with fabulous facilities, the staff was so helpful. Super clean rooms, I would highly recommend.

Lovely hotel, the staff are amazing, a credit to the hotel chain, you feel welcomed immediately as guests. Beautiful inside and out lovely and clean by amazing housekeeping staff. The only thing I'd change, is the food menu and some dining recccomendations for guests. In the bar area, to do laid back dining like scampi and normal chips, (not skin on) not everyone likes these and thats all that's available.
The bar menu, is still too 4 star the menu, if you want a more laid back eating experience. The garlic mushroons are not nice, at all. Too fancy for the bar menu as is the salmon beetroot etc. Using ordinary button mushroom on menu would be far nicer as the crispy crumb in the hotel ones is nit nice either not crispy at all. Please update menu for the more down to earth travelling guests.

The tables for 2 are ridiculously small and it ruined our breakfast experience. Too many dishes, bowls, jugs,cups saucers used by the hotel for a table for 2. As it takes away peoples choice and preference. We were crammed in all in one tiny section near the window for breakfast. It was not nice. Felt too near to people at the side of us. Lovely stay. Food was great and gym is probably the best equipped gym I've experienced. Rooms were well equipped and most importantly we'll soundproofed. Only downside is having to pay for parking and spa facilities but guess if you don't need them then it cuts the cost so not a big issue. Staff were also great

Very quiet, comfortable room which was extremely clean. Good range of toiletries and drinks in the room, milk bar a great idea. All staff courteous and friendly. There was a wedding on which didn’t disturb us and when checkout got busy due to this lots of extra staff appeared to manage the desk. Very well managed will stay again

All the staff have 5* customer service, whether it be front desk, breakfast waiters or cleaning staff.
The hotel itself is private and tucked away from busy Leeds and makes a perfect escape. It is easily accessed by car and especially by bus making it low budget transport option if traveling from within Leeds.
I always book 1 night but truly it is never enough to indulge in the hotel.
I would prefer having more of a tapas style breakfast rather than only 1 main plate and unlimited starters. Options to have several main plates per person would be good as they are small. Cheaper food prices and a larger room service menu with again more tapas style options would go down a treat.

Hotel was really good but at about 7am maintenance man knocked on my door (I was still asleep) and he came into the room without me advising it was okay. Never had this happen in over 35 years of business travel. Disgusted!

Nice hotel and really friendly staff who couldn’t do enough. I turned up around 18:30 so couldn’t get in the restaurant which was a shame but the hotel was fully booked. The hotel is busy as the gym is obviously popular locally and most are staying in the hotel for work as it’s surrounded by commercial offices and this is why i was there after all. Breakfast was great and incredibly efficient, i was in and out in 20 mins which is impressive and it was delicious. I’d stay again but only if i can book into the restaurant

Beautiful hotel, welcome from the 1 second we arrived until the time we left. Room was perfect for 2 adults 1 child (11yo) & lovely touch with little dressing gown and slippers. Mega comfy beds too.

Was a fantastic stay, perfect place. The only.thing that wasn't as good as last time we stayed was the dinner menu. Was a bit boring really and the service can be a bit slow, not really sure why as plenty of staff on so ?
