The front desk is not 24/7. We arrived at 7pm and we have had to self check-in through a machine. The description of hotel mention it has a SPA as our benefit, but we did not find that and had no one to ask for. Note: they charge addition fee for after hour call.

The positives, we stayed during the RugbyWorld Cup so everywhere was busy. The staff at reception were brilliant and very helpful. The room was on the yellow floor and was clean and quiet. The shower had good pressure and was always hot. Although outside the city centre, it is really easy to get about with the T2 and T4 within in a 5 minute walk. The area felt safe to walk about even late at night.
The improvements (minor), the pillows were incredibly flat and not comfortable to sleep on. A shelf in the shower would be useful to put things on. Reception is bright and modern but certainly on floor 2, the first impression out the lift wasn’t the best. The red carpet is old and stained and with the black walls it looks tired and dated.

Not good. Terrible location in a sketchy neighborhood. Very dirty. The carpet was just disgusting. Lack of hand towel and shower matt.
No shelve in the shower. Very Small bottle of shower gel for two. Dirty walls and just wired. A lot of unnecessary shelves in the room. A very small TV looks like a computer desktop. No English channels. Very confusing signage in the parking lot.

The took my credit card and wrote my card number also the check in was took 20 mins ….. the lift was not working I have to take my stuff and luggage to 4 floor … more importantly the room not even have a bottle of water and the room has lot of hair which was former guest left …

A rustic, charming 200 year old farmhouse.
I had a lovely stay- the host was delightful and very kind.
The room was large, clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was delicious with homemade breads, jams and locally made cheese.

Absolutely top-notch customer service. Fabulous communication and great assistance when I arrived. Very friendly. Room was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was lovely. It is an easy 5 minute walk from the tram. The location is a little blah, not the mostbsecenic area or a tourist hot-spot, to be sure, but I felt totally safe walking my dog late in the evening. The price was great for how nice the room was, and I'd stay there again, for sure.

One night in Lyon

I stayed one night to go and see a Europa League football match at Lyon Groupama Stadium. A decent hotel room with a small kitchen (which I didn't use). It's fairly basic but it was fine for one night's stay, perfectly adequate. It was clean and tidy.

The shower in my room was cheap and falling apart, but it just about worked ok, aside from that, the room was fine.

The location was fairly near the Part Dieu train station (15 mins on the tram) which we were traveling from, so it was convenient.

A few days in Lyon

I was happy with my stay at this hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The rooms are quite small so keep this in mind when booking and I would also recommend asking for a room not facing the busy street. My room was facing the street and with the window open tended to be on the noisy side, but the with the windows closed any noise was not a problem. Overall was a comfortable stay and would stay here again if back in Lyon.

Although they did call me, supposedly they didn’t have staff at the front desk to check me in after 7pm. Luckily one staff member was there to provide me keys but then she left. Crazy, right? There was no one there to check us out until 7 am but we had to leave earliest than that to catch our 7 am train.

The room was nice and clean with a comfortable bed and a kitchenette. The location is a a little far from the city center and pubic transportation is a bit limited, but there are trams that run in front of the building and the electric scooters help to mitigate.

I liked the ease of transportation into the city center. The grocery store was very close as well.
The front desk staff spoke fluently in different languages which was very helpful.
For some reason I had to sign in to the internet every day and it was sometimes difficult to get the login page to come up.

The garage is very small, although front desk receptionist confirmed that it is big. I scratched a door of rented car. When I went back to see her with pictures of the damage, the answer was: I do not know what to say.

Clean, Convenient, quiet apartment hotel.

This apartment hotel is located in a relatively quiet area, close to the main cemeteries of Lyon, but within a good walking distance of the Rhone river and Part Dieu station. There are convenient shops 400m away nearby at Jet d'eau and tram stations there and also nearby, and restaurants and shops and a market a bit further away at Place Jean Mace. There is a Park, Parc Blandan, about 600m away. We booked an apartment, 1 bedroom, which the photos might lead you to believe that it would have a balcony, but there are only 3 of those types of apartment with balconies, and anyway they are reserved for long staying guests. Our apartment was quiet and clean. You have to ask for the key to the kitchen cupboard, and a couple of the utensils were just plastic, not the quality expected. The bed was large and comfortable. There is a very nice roof area with loungers and good views. The staff were friendly and very helpful. There are no channels in English on the TV. The free WiFi was very good but you need to login again after you have returned to the hotel. You do need to take the key card or remember the night code for the door, since the reception closes at 22:00 and may not be open all day on Sunday.

The room itself was ok, breakfast is basic. Disappointing SPA restriction time that is not advertised!
I felt that the staff was not honest, asking to pay additional tax and failed to provide a receipt through email as promised. I'm still waiting for this!!

Not as good as we'd hoped for

The bedroom was comfortable but the living room was not. The furnishings consisted of an office chair and a folded futon which was too small for two to sit and uncomfortable. The kitchenette was not really designed to be used since the cook top was set back inside a box-like structure as was the sink - hard to use without knocking your head.
The bath was higher than the floor with no anti-slip mat or hand rail.
One English TV channel would have been nice.
We liked having windows front and back and we found the location good.

stunning aparthotel in Lyon

its a good hotel with studio room which has a kitchen with all utensils and microwave and induction gas. the rooms size is good and the bathroom is big too, in france for this price its not easy to find this big room . there are 2 tram stations on each side and they are about 300 mtrs disctance at each side (the hotel is in between of them) and from here you can easily reach either to Lyon Part Dieu station and its areas from where you can take the Rhone express to the Lyon airport. (this is totally around 45 min journey one way) and from the other tram you can reach Perache area as its straight tram. I suggest you to stay here as its overall quiet comfortable.

Was on a business trip. Found that hotel was in an ideal location for tram and subway connection to city centre for eating places etc. Hotel does have an adjoining restaurant which serves good food and wine. Rooms are clean and tidy. Does have fridge cooking hobs if you require. Parking is secured below ground for a reasonable all night charge. If and when I need to return to Lyon on business I will be booking again.

Clean and modern!

It was nice and convenient staying at the otelia. Staff were great and helpful. Everything seemed pretty new and using the kichenette was also convenient! Enjoyed very my our stay there. The hotel is a little away from the center but transportation (tram 2) to the train station was very convenient and a few stops away! We enjoyed riding the velo'v to the old Lyon and downtownn from the hotel!

Worst Customer Service I have ever had

The hotel was fairly nice, albeit a little out of the way. However, the customer service was appalling. I went with my girlfriend who spoke fluent french so this was not a language barrier issue. Our shower broke in the room in the evening, but there are no staff actually at the hotel beyond 10pm. We called the out of hours number and were told that nothing could be done, not even a room swap, and that this was not an emergency. When we complained in the morning, we were met with downright rudeness, offered no compensation, vouchers or even APOLOGY! This is an ok hotel, but the reception and service was awful. If anything goes wrong with your room your stay will be completely ruined and you will be on your own. We both left in the morning having been unable to shower.

This was the surprise of our trip. It is in a residential neighborhood south of the action but we were dining at Victoria Hall so it was walking distance for us. Modern lobby, even more modern, bright crisp clean rooms. 70 Euro! One issue, getting in and out of the free parking garage is similar to breaking inot Fort Knox. But a great stay overall

Déjà pour commencer ce n’est pas un hôtel mais une résidence c’est ce que nous a dit le réceptionniste, donc pas de ménage ( sinon payant ) avec la moquette de partout dans cette chambre pas top hygiénique. Il n’y a pas de réfrigérateur comme indiquer sur le site c’est un minibar;
Le petit déjeuner proposer à un prix équivalent à un menu déjeuner trop cher!!!
Pas de torchon, une mini éponge, la kichinette très petite, des couverts que pour 2.
Le 3ème couchage est un genre de clic clac poser dans la petite pièce ou se trouve la kichinette, pas de table .
Par contre la salle de bain et toilettes pas mal.
Le parking à 9€ la nuit est derrière avec une barrière seulement les voitures ne peuvent pas entrées sinon à pieds et à moto on peut se faufiler sur le coté.
Spa payant enfin je n’y retournerai pas.

personnel irrespectueux, j’ai demandé 3x qu’il remplisse le distributeur de savon vide à mon arrivée et ce n’est que le 3eme jour qu’il l’a fait. J’ai surtout réservé pr salle fitness ouverte dès 6h30. 2 derniers jours elle était inaccessible, lumière éteinte et mm personne m’a promis de m’appeler pour m’informer de son ouverture matin mais evidemment, promesse non tenue

Personnel agréable, 1 ascenseur en panne sur les deux donc beaucoup d'attente. Petit déjeuner au prix injustifié, promesse de sans gluten et il n'y en a pas. Rideau de douche, au lieu de porte qui serait beaucoup plus adaptées. Pas de voilage aux fenêtres donc si nous ne voulons pas de vis-à-vis obligation de rester dans le noir ou lumière allumée.

La chambre est propre et bien entretenue. La literie est confortable. Quand j'y étais il n'y avait pas de service petit-déjeuner. Il fallait réserver un plateau, ce que je n'ai pas fait. Concernant le spa, la hammam était en tavaux, le bain à remous navait pas toutes fonctionnalités disponibles et le sauna chauffe seulement à 60°C.
L'hôtel est proche de deux arrêts de tram ce qui le rend facilement accessible.

J'ai trouvé que l'établissement n'était pas aussi accueillant en vraie que les images présentées sur le site, c'est bien vendu.
Je trouve que la propreté n'était pas au rendez-vous ( des toiles d'araignées au-dessus de la télé)!
