Lets just say its on budget. A good location close to city centre for a fair price. Spent few days here to explore Brussels. The location is fair just 3 stops from Brussels Central Station via train. The train runs multiple times with 30 min intervals if not there is a bus to Brussels midi station as well both in walkable distances.

The room is small and cozy for budget. The rooms need some services like ventilation as well as privacy in restrooms and bathrooms. It felt awkward that the restroom didn’t had any locks and bathrooms were of translucent door which inhibited privacy. If your with friends I would suggest taking two rooms.

The service in the reception and in-room cleaning wad phenomenal. The reception was very welcoming and accommodating. They provided us with easy routes to cities and what to explore. The in-room service was also good, they cleaned our room well without us even asking for the cleaning.

To be honest, might visit again but not with friends or family due to the privacy issues

A nice stay but...

The hotel was nice staff would good too only issue was the AC going out which was werid cause we had 3 people come to the room to tell us the AC was working but it takes a while to come on but it never came on turned out it was broken throughout the whole hotel cant understand why they couldnt tell us that from the start instead of leaving us to suffer in 30 degree heat during the night no ventilation at all not ideal if youve a young kid cause it gets very warm in the room

Horrible noise at midnight with the leaking water

There was continuous noises and disturbances due to the leakage of the water pipe on the 1st floor at around 2-4am which was the normal sleeping hours of human. It seriously affected the quality of sleep together with hygiene of the corridor badly. I complained to the reception and the management but no response nor reply unfortunately.

Obviously for the cost, we weren’t expecting the Ritz, but we did book a triple room for 3 people, only got given 2 towels and had to make the bunk bed up ourselves as if we were in a hostel or something.
The glass door on the shower (reflected in the mirror to anyone on one of the beds) totally lacked privacy, as did the non-lockable toilet door. The toilet light went off after about 10 seconds and you had to do a little dance on the loo to get it to come back on.
Breakfast was plentiful and the beds were comfortable but it just felt that the layout of the room hadn’t really been thought through.
Charging for parking in that location (and charging so much) on top is a bit cheeky.

Avoid. Vehicle damaged in car park

My car was damaged by another vehicle in their car park - staff refused to review CCTV footage. Followed up with an email request to management, who also refused. Seemingly unmoved by criminal damage occurring on their property. Avoid at all costs, wish I’d stayed somewhere else, where guests and their property are valued

The hotel was not easy to spot from the road and the taxi had to pay in order to leave the gated parking lot. Our room felt more like a dorm room. The Expedia description said breakfast was included but we were charged 10EUR each plus another city tax. I had prepaid and there were taxes and municipal fees listed on my receipt. There was no soap in the shower and very little at the sink. We were given a new bottle as soon as we asked. Everything was clean, just a little worn in places. I’d say the site is very functional but not posh at all.

Room small but enough for night or two, I think bunk bed over regular one is great idea and space savers which we and my son liked very much . However maintain cleanliness may be challenging and unfortunately we could see lots of dirts between bed frame and mattress , and floor in the room didn't looked very clean. Except of this room was great for the price, breakfast one of best we had in the hotel and staff very pleasant and helpful .

Ibis was à Nice place for us.
Close to a train station, 2 stations away from gare du midi downtown and they’re offering breakfast buffet for €10 extra every morning. Could have been half the amount…
Overall it’s a pleasant place.

I had to leave out the trash myself bc no one took it out, and when I went to talk to one of the cleaning staff the female ran and closed the door to the room so I would not even talk to her. I complained and they only took trash then but never cleaned the bathroom it had hairs that were not mine so I never got to take a bath.

A great stay of 5 nights with family at the heart of Brussels. Very clean rooms, bathrooms and corridors. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Hot water was free from coffee machines which was needed for our daughter. The bathroom light's censor was little annoying as it turns off every 5 seconds, so you will have to keep shaking your body or waving at the censor to keep the light on. But thats just a small part which you can ignore. Very happy with the stay and experience. Thats a great budget option. Highly recommended.

We stayed in this hotel for 6 days.. in general me and my partner thinks everything was alright, apart from a 5-10 mins walk going to Ruisbroek train station which is a little bit of a mission, the street you pass by as you head to the hotel is dark and feels a bit dodgy. (Make sure you don’t walk there on your own) In addition, the hotel staff cleaning the rooms seems to have issues with personal hygiene, she gave us a new set of towels and toilet paper in the morning for a couple of episodes and she smells really horrible. Her smells even lingers inside our bedroom and it really is disappointing.. but, I would still recommend this hotel to people who are on a tight budget as it is cheap and cheerful ..

Everything was very good except the breakfast was very simple (boiled eggs, cheese, ham, butter, cream cheese, jam, coffee machine, juice machine, bread, croissants, honey, chocolate spread, tea bags, cornflakes, milk)
The room has only double bed, small table, hangers on the wall, mirror on the wall, shower, toilet. No electric appliances. Not value for money
Bus stop in 6 minutes
Train station in 10 minutes
Not many noice
Very clean
Downstairs in the lobby it's very small and has coffee machine

Location: This hotel is conveniently located near Ruisbruk station and easily accessible to the city center by train.

Additional Notes:

Factor in an additional €6 per person for round-trip train tickets between the hotel and Brussels Midi station.
There's a nice park next to the hotel, perfect for families with children.

Located in Brussel's Flemish outskirt it's the typical budget french Brant hotel with a bunk bed overhead.Room was clean but poor soundprouf makes night...... messy when neighbours don't keep quiet until late.
Some disfunctionnal facilities like the light in the toilet.Good for a short stage.

I would not recommend this place. They had people gathering outside my room window at all times of the night , 1:00 am , 3:00 am , 5:00 am, screaming and playing music. The air conditioning unit did not work. Terrible place. Not worth the money.

Very convenient location . About 6 min max to walk from a train . Buffet food for breakfast was amazing. They have hot tea and cappuccino and lots of food. Supermarket right next to the train station or half way to the hotel there is a gas station . You can buy big bottles of water there any food . Lady’s make sure you have conditioner for your hair have it with you( hotel don’t provide) make sure you go see a Brugges ( it totally changed my mind about Belgium) it was recommended to me by a front seat Lady. On this trip make sure you go on a good weather day you will take a mini bout trip so take your sunglasses and a hat. Lots of restaurants and the best Choclate there
And amazing stores for cloth and shoes. Try to be there no later then 11 you will spend all day there must wear snickers no heals 😊.

This property has bad staff and cannot accommodate disable person. I have neck surgery and my pillow was just 4 inches thick which was very uncomfortable to sleep. The manager manger totally refuses to give me another pillow. This property is bunkbed property which make supper hurting going up. I will never stay in ibis properties again ever.

The hotel is a budget hotel with no frills. When I checked in, the floor in my room was dirty. The furniture and appliances are old, dirty and in some cases broken. The TV is about the size of a laptop. The hotel reeks of cigarette smoke and you can smell it coming through the vents into your room.

Stayed here for 3 nights; it was really comfortable and in a nice quiet area and also very close to the S-Train Station which makes it quite ideal for someone who doesn't want to spend their nights out and just wants to take rest after a long day. But it's quite far from the main happening areas of Brussels so it can be disappointing as it might take upto an hour to get to the places around the Grand-Place

The staff was very rude, especially the cleaning ladies. The room was semi-clean. There was hair still in the shower. The facility is run down: some of the lighting did not work, their was a constant high pitch noise coming from who knows where during the night, the walls were dirty, etc. The location is in a nice area but is far from the city center.

Considering this is not as cheap as it feels, the overall experience wasn’t too good. They have a large (paid) parking area, offer a basic breakfast and the rooms are equipped with the literal minimum items and furniture possible.
Still okay, but again, didn’t seem like a good value deal. A very small desk, 2 plastic stools and two wall hooks is everything I got to store things. Unless I would have put my luggage on the ground but with no space around that’s more of an obstacle .... also I wasn’t a fan of the atmosphere but maybe that is an individual choice.
Not quite for me.

I won’t recommend budgets

The bathroom wasn’t cleaned, they were hair in the shower before we even use it. They cleaned re-used the same bedsheets when we asked for our bed to be made. People were running in the hallway when we were sleeping around 3am. Unnecessary car park charge in any level. £25 charged on a printed paper which doesn’t make any sense. I slept in ibis before but this was a nightmare

A stay to remember.

The stay was very nice with friendly team, house keeping was very nice to us, It was amazing compared to the price we paid specially in public holiday. To go to Brussels-Zuid, it should take around 50 minutes using bus 50 but you can use the train and go to even Brussels central in 15-20 minutes using Ruisbroek train stating.

Clean comfy Budget hotel with basics

We requested a cot via hotels.com but when we landed at reception we were told we should have contacted them. They did find us a cot promptly. The room was adequate, some funky styling to the bed. Tv remote batteries didnt work. Shower had leak causing damage to wall. Breakfast was limited and space limited. No hot food like beans sausage eggs etc. They ran out of yogurt on 2nd day. No fruit selection. Enough to survive though. Nice coffee machine at breakfast area. Reception staff polite friendly and helpful. We got the bus from texaco petrol station near hotel to midi station which was quick and cheap. There is free wifi. No hair dryer or tea making facility in the room. There is a park play area next door. There are a few essentials in reception to buy like usb charger, snacks and microwave. Would benefit from fruit for breakfast and some basic warm food plus kettle and hair dryer. Local quiet cafe bar just outside.

For 1 star it was really nice and clean.

I booked Ibis just incase I needed a hotel. At the end I used it. It was really good for my budget and the room was clean and comfortable. I did not have breakfast but checked in the morning, it was looking good. If you will use it only sleep for the night it is very good for that price.
