The staff were wonderful, really lovely to deal with, unfortunately i didn't book a room with air conditioning, so it was very stuffy regardless, i left my bedroom window open and unfortunately mosquitoes got in, not a pleasant experience the following days with itching, now i did pull back the mosquito net curtain which didn't help, breakfast was ok, good choice, but quality only ok, but again, the hotel staff were incredibly polite and nice, so if i was to stay there again, id definitely book air conditioning so not to open the window

Mixed experience within a rich tapestry of history
The overall experience was okay, the bed was two singles pushed together, not much room for manuever. Halfway between a hostel and hotel. There were weird red stains on the ceiling, lot of chips in the wall and stains as well. The shower pressure was fine. Asked for a fan which was brought promptly, however I wasn't sure either of the two gentlemen on the night desk worked there as they had no uniforms or anything resembling the hotels insignia.
Belgium is a lovely place, most cities are very similar, Belgium chocolate shops every 3rd shop in a row. Little bit of homelessness in certain areas, easy to commute once you're in the city - but to get the best experience, you can travel to most cities within an 1-2 hours with a car. Just park up and take the metro in. You can see most major areas of the country within a few days.
Waffles and Fries are done very well. Wolf Food Hall was excellent. The prices overall are a sign of the times and I found the restaurant food quality to be quite poor.
Oh, and if you want to use a public toilet, or even one in McDonalds,... Bring some change.

Overall it was a great stay- the location is ideal, and we felt safe walking from the train station after dark. There are plenty of options for places to eat nearby and a couple of mini markets.

Union SG V LFC Trip
We stayed for one night to attend the Union SG Vs LFC. Staff were so welcoming and supportive especially as I’m in a wheelchair nothing was any trouble including organising a taxi and ensuring it arrived. I was greeted on my return last night as the taxi drooped me off and was helped into the hotel. Please give my thanks to all staff especially the Italian man on the desk.

Close to the metro which takes about 25 mins to the centre of Brussels. Rooms were basic but clean, beds had a foam mattress topper that kept moving every time you sat on it. Bathroom was clean but no extractor fan. Breakfast buffet was good, the evening buffet for 29 euro didn't look to have many options, food wasn't labelled so not good for vegetarians or if you have allergies. Overall it was a good base for exploring the city.

Average hotel overall. However, very upset with their communication. I forgot my sunglasses there and have been emailing them via hotels multiple times with no response. Not sure if they discarded my item or someone took it. I except a better communication especially regarding valuable items.

I reserved a superior twin room, but was given a standard dick double room that looked like a dungeon. After complaining a different, slightly better room but (hindsight) still standard and no aircon. After an uncomfortably hot night, complained again and was only then given the superior room I had reserved in the first place. They compensated by waiving the parking cost but I feel tricked into a downgrade that I only discovered by complaining over and over again.

Short business trip hence used this hotel for convenience and value for money. Check-in was efficient and the room clean and comfortable; all I needed for a short work trip and would use again if needing visit to Anderlecht commune.

Convenient for early-morning hospital appointment
We chose this hotel because of its close proximity to the ULB hospital, where we had an early morning appointment.
There were issues with the room door not locking properly, having my and my daughter’s rooms as far apart on the same floor as was possible, and finally the availability of healthy food in the restaurant.
Upon asking whether there was any gluten-free food, we were met with surprise that such a request was even possible. Eventually a salad was put together, of which only three pieces of cucumber were edible. A plate of spaghetti Bolognaise was mushy and tasted like it had come out of a can, while a bottle of stil water was charged at 5 Euro.
Although the staff did their best to help with changing rooms for us, the way the hotel operated does not help them offer a high quality service.

Ideal for business travelling
I stayed here during a business trip. The exclusive reason for choosing this hotel was its location, however, I was pleasantly surprised by the room quality and cleanliness. The lounge area is very cool and clean, however the menu that they put at the customer's disposal is not so varied and also the food quality was medium.

I have reviewed this property already on Hotel.com and I still maintain that they must add a kettle to the scheme of things. However, I have only come back to say that the staff is extremely courteous. Ali of all was absolutely brilliant who went an extra mile to make things happen. Being a vegetarian, there wasn't enough options but then Ali came up with the \"Ali Pizza\" which I would say is a must try and was always hands full with some really good and honest opinions and suggestions.

As I said in my previous review that the only thing that are really missing is a kettle in the room. They could have a tea making facility in the bar as well which basically means free hot water and there's nothing else to complain. I think they are already working on a fitness centre which is the other thing missing. My stay has been absolutely wonderful. The staff is young, energetic, very warm and courteous.

I stayed here for business and the Hotel is really close to the office (10 min walk); I thought it was great! However, the area doesn't have much to do really. There is the Erasmus Metro station at 5 minute walk but it's far from central Brussels really. There's a supermarket at about 15 minute walk and that's pretty much it. There's nothing that the Hotel can do about the area; so no minus points for them.
The staff is very cheerful, helpful and upbeat. I've had dinner a few times here and they do make good suggestions. The rooms are good and cleaned everyday. To return to a tip-top room after a hard day at work was absolutely great! The one thing I am not happy about is that they do not provide a water bottle a day and a kettle in the room which is very basic and I'm going to deduct a point here and hope the hotel listens and makes this little improvement. Nice property, but no facilities nearby.. Had to walk over 1/2 mile to visit a large shopping mall just to get drinking water at a decent price. No convenience stores within one mile, and no bus stop near this location. Room was clean and well maintained.

Everything you can expect from an ibis. Unfortunately no Aircon or fridges in the room. They provide earplugs in the room because it can get noisy.close to the metro but that's all that's in the neighborhood. The restaurant has limited vegetarian options but a good beer selection. The staff was very friendly. Overall I wouldn't stay here again.

Having stayed here previously and been a little disappointed, this stay was much better. everything went very smooth. The breakfast is also really good. A little expensive but good.

When I arrived to the hotel it was crowded by young athletes boys who make loud noises that can’t let anyone rest and sleep. They were screaming and shouting on each other in the corridor, knocking doors of rooms.
I couldn’t take my afternoon nap at all. I could not prepare my self well for my evening business and party.
I called my friend to try accommodate me with him in his room in another hotel.
I took my necessary belongings and went to spend the rest of that day and night outside ibis erasmus.

Nice Foyer!!!!
There was an issue where hotels.com had only booked 1 room when I booked 2. The initial people to deal with at the front desk were quite rude insisting the hotel was full and they would try to do something. After making some phone calls we were relocated to a different hotel. So I can't really comment on the hotel it self. The foyer seemed nice. The staff could be a bit more welcoming and communicate better. And be polite.

El hotel es increíble; sin duda, el mejor Ibis en el que me he hospedado. Al tratarse de una cadena, esperaba una experiencia estándar; sin embargo, este hotel se destaca notablemente frente al resto.
Desde la atención al momento de la llegada, la galleta de bienvenida y el mapa de la ciudad, hasta los pequeños detalles en general, todo estuvo muy bien cuidado. Además, la habitación ofrecía una hermosa vista verde, lo que aportó un extra de tranquilidad a la estadía.
El hotel cuenta con un restaurante y una terraza perfectos. Cada mañana pasábamos por nuestro café para llevar, a un muy buen precio, lo que resultó especialmente conveniente.
Sin duda, volvería a quedarme aquí.

Padrão Ibis de qualidade. Quarto padrão, mas confortável. O recepcionista foi muito gentil conosco, um querido mesmo. Quando soube que tínhamos noivado durante a viagem, nos deu duas cervejas de cortesia, o que foi um toque muito fofo pra nossa viagem. Fica longe do centro de Bruxelas, mas se estiver procurando uma hospedagem rápida e num bom preço, vale a pena.

Séjour agréable au sein de cette hôtel.le côté pratique car juste à côté du métro pour se rendre sur le centre ville.Un très bon accueil !Cependant, il y a un vrai problème d insonorisation, je comprends maintenant le fait d offrir des boules quies! Et l'aspect prix qui n est pas en adéquation avec la.prestation !

Et ganske fint lille hotel. Der er ikke den store plads på værelset, men vi kunne da være der. Standen var rigtig fin. Det eneste minus var at hovedpuderne var meget høje. Jeg ved ikke om man kunne have fået dem byttet, det spurgte vi ikke om.
Morgenmaden var god og varieret, og det smagte godt.
Hvis man kommer i den sene ende af morgenmaden så går det lidt trægt med opfyldningen, men det var også i weekenden, så måske de ikke var så mange på arbejde.
De har en lille restaurant med et lille men varieret menukort, gå udenom pizzaerne, de smagte ok men mindede mest om frysepizza. Deres pasta var tilgengæld meget god.

Morgenmaden var god og varieret, og det smagte godt.
Hvis man kommer i den sene ende af morgenmaden så går det lidt trægt med opfyldningen, men det var også i weekenden, så måske de ikke var så mange på arbejde.
De har en lille restaurant med et lille men varieret menukort, gå udenom pizzaerne, de smagte ok men mindede mest om frysepizza. Deres pasta var tilgengæld meget god.

Très bon accueil. Chambre correcte et propre. Seul GROS bémol, le repas du soir. On nous propose un buffet à 25€. La super déception, quelques plats froids de légumes mélangés, sauf le plat de carottes râpées, salade...3 plats chauds : deux plats ressemblant à un couscous, l'autre à une paella. Le 3e avec une viande (très bonne) avec ou sans sauce ; mais sans accompagement (soit pâtes, riz ou pomme de terre) et tout ceci pour 25€. Trop cher pour le buffet proposé. Heureusement, le lendemain matin, le buffet-déjeûner offrait un bien meilleur choix, délicieux et diversifié.
