This is not an AI review. 100% human. The room was seemingly ok. Check in was fine. Room looked okay we relaxed in it until 2 beg bugs crept up on the pillow I rested my head on.

Overnight front desk associate gave us a new room. Of course, we would take apart the sheets and check the mattress in the new room. No bed bugs. Fine. The mattress protector was severely stained red and yellow. The mattress also stained. We slept on the floor that night because there were no other rooms. We checked out 2 days earlier than intended

The hotel is super close to Brussels Midi Station, less than 10 minutes walk.
Also very close to the bus stop to catch the bus to central Brussels, the staff was very nice, they storage our luggage before the check in.
The room was very spacious and clean.
Definitely a good and convenient place to stay.

This is a very basic hotel. And the price reflects this.
I arrived late and was just there for a bed for the night.

The cleaning staff are amazing. But during the morning time of Thursday January 30th, the receptionist was very rude and arrogant. They need to teach him what’s customer service. Assuming that people doesn’t have money to pay in front of others clients just because it is taking few minutes to be approved it is very very unpleasant.

Das Zimmer ist dringend überholungsbedürftig.

Auf den ersten Blick war es sauber. Wenn man genau hingeschaut hat, ist das Zimmer ziemlich heruntergekommen Punkt Schimmel im Bad kaputter Schrank, kaputter Tisch, die Wandfarbe löst sich von den Wänden. Die Stecker der Lampen sind technisch nicht in Ordnung.

This is the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms do not reflect the pictures that are online. The staff listened to my complaints but took no action to rectify the issues. Only one light in my room worked, there was hair on the restroom sink that did not belong to me that was not cleaned throughout the entire duration of my stay. The bed was not made each day. I asked for the sheets to be changed and my request was ignored. The floor was not cleaned a single time and the trash was not changed daily. The wall had several chips of paint missing and the WiFi connection was extremely poor.

The hotel was in a really bad condition - rooms were unclean, not properly painted, floorboards broken and some lights not working.
Location was close to Eurostar, but not comfortable to walk through during late hours. Other guests were loud and overall we felt really uncomfortable and kind of unsafe here. Therefore, we left 30 minutes after arrival, searching for a new hotel to stay at midnight. Not a great experience.

Problems with reservation. They tried to charge us twice and they said that it was our problem and that we should contact expedia to fix it. To be honest, we should do it. Actually, they charged twice to my colleague, and I refused to present my credit card as I already paid.
Not very pleasant to see that expedia charged 40 euros more than the amount we paid for the room :)

Burnt marks of people in the sofa. Tobacco smell in the room.
Noisy, not quite clean and the worst part.
Area was not good to go out at night. Might be dangerous.

Photo of the room did not match with the room I received. The building looks dark and old. Perhaps paint with lighter colours, add mirrors, light coloured carpets and bright lights can give this hotel a new look.

We arrived at the hotel in the morning to leave our luggage however it was too early to check in. The receptionist was very nice and spoke several languages. Our surprise was that when we checked in in the evening and went up to the room we noticed that the bathroom was flooded. I went downstairs to ask for a solution. The guy with very broken English couldn't give me a solution or a quick fix until the technician could come the next day. I had to tell him to give me a mop or towels so we could dry the floor ourselves. In the morning we reminded the other receptionist about the problem but we got back to the room the bathroom was flooded again. That night there was another receptionist, which I had to manage to speak with him in French, despite my French is not good enough for that purpose. And again, using towels to dry it out. But the day after didn't get better because no one came to even collect the wet towels... also, mentioning that no one is watching the place where we left our luggage before checking in or after checking out.

Room was clean, very dated furniture and bathroom. The WC tap was broken, the shower doors were broken. The bed was ok.
Big problem was that at 7.30am on a Sunday morning they decided to call in the plumber for the room next door to ours and they wake us up after making noise for more than an hour. I had to go back to reception (as the phone from the room didn't work with number 0 or 9, and there was no information of the right number to call reception) and ask the receptionist to make them stop. She did not even apologized! Terrible service. I am not going back again.

Booked a room I when I arrived at hotel - I got the message that I Booked on a hostel for women. Booked more that 100 night using this app and hotel.com. Already payed 100 euro and now they want 170 euro extra from me. Could only accept as the area was totally full. This totally unfair and against all policies...

An underated near station hotel

Although this hotel is only 10 minutes walking from the Euro Tunnel terminal it took us over an hour due to the shockingly bad site directions. The main problem is that \" Rue de France\" is not visible any where in the dark and it is impossible to figure out where South or East is. Instructions should be changed to say \" turn left out of the euro terminal doors, walk through to the end of the shopping corridor of Staton Midi, left onto the street pavement and contunue in that direction for 5 minutes. The hotel will be seen on the road junction to your right\"
The hotel has everthing needed for a breif stay including a bar, but seems to be in staff transistion.

Not much to like about this place. Itchy sheets. Ambulance noise throughout the night. Whenever a neighboring room used the toilet, it gets REALLY loud in the room. Also, could hear the next door neighbors intimate time. The only redeeming qualities are that it is near Brussels Zuid Station and very close to the shuttle bus to Charleroi Airport.

Very disappointed. Room was extremely noisy and walls paper thin. Came back to the room after being out all day and the TV was turned on with a handkerchief on the floor as if somebody had been sitting in there watching TV all afternoon. In the middle of the night woke up to beeping and the phone was off the hook. Very weird.

Amazing hostel, but not the area

This hotel is very good and with very good staff, especially the gentleman who always wear a hat, praise to him, he was the only smiley and most welcoming staff who didnt sound rude, unlike the others who doesn't greet you when they see you, and rather be on their phones, but overall I loved the hostels. The hostel is very close to the main station which was the pro, but the con was the area itself whcih wasn't really safe to go out at night time by yourself (especially if you're a girl) or didnt really feel welcoming but that's not that hotel's fault, just sadly theyre in one of the areas you have to weary of, as one of the student told me who stayed in hostel too that the area is one of the ones you need to be alert, but your fine as long as your in a group.

Wifi stopped working and when we asked reception to fix it she said we had to wait for her colleague as she didnt know what to do. They never bothered fixing it as it was still down the next morning when we checked out. The room was a good size and on the same street as where the coach buses drop you from other cities so very convenient. There were no block out curtains so it was extremely bright early in the morning and the pillows felt like cement so we both woke up with very sore necks.

Simple and convenient, you get what you pay for.

This hotel is very basic and good for short stays. I chose this hotel for the cheap price & the proximity to the train station which is one block away. The walls are thin & sounds carry. I did have to sleep with my noise cancelling headphones to muffle out the sounds of other guests but overall you get what you pay for. They provide you with all you need but I wouldn't recommend staying here for more than a couple of nights, even if your going to be out sightseeing, eventually you would like to come back and relax at your hotel. This place is not for relaxation but perfect for a place to keep your belongings & shower.

Location! Location! Location!

I chose this hotel for its close proximity to the Brussels Midi train station and the Charleroi Suid airport shuttle - both located within 5 minutes walk from hotel. The hotel was clean and comfortable but the elevator did not always work and the main corridor light was off every time I opened my door to go out. It came on as soon as I stepped out of my room so not sure if it was on a motion sensor. Can't see why it should be. Also, every time someone opened or shut a door, I heard it. The corridors should have carpeting or ceramic tiles instead of laminate floors as that was also very noisy when walked on.

We spent two nights in this hotel. Big comfortable room, private bathroom. There were no coffeemaker in the room to get some coffee or tea at night and we didn't find anything in the lobby. The staff explained that hotel is under reconstruction and soon all the amenities would be added.

Very functional for a one-night stay.

Located close to Brussels-Midi, so perfect when you arrive late with a train from Paris or Amsterdam. Everything is very spacious and very functional. There is nothing cozy or warm in the hotel and my room. The floors feel like plastic, cold, and that gives it a very unwelcoming feeling. The Wifi works fine, and when it did not, it was solved very quickly.

Hôtel (pension) bien situé près de la Gare du Midi (bus aéroport à 150m) avec qualité prix correct. Concernant la chambre, équipement vieillot et très basique, rideaux de fenêtre qui ne ferment pas entièrement. Literie que j'ai trouvé très dure (matelas sans doute très ancien) Douche et salle de bain OK. Évitez de prendre une chambre coté rue car mal insonorisé et avenue très fréquentée (gare toute proche) Merci à l'hôtesse de nous avoir permis de changer de chambre pour être plus au calme malgré l'absence de TV (pas indispensable pour nous).Wifi OK dans chambre 1er étage. Accueil correct de la part des 3 réceptionnistes (merci pour le café offert)

L’hotel est au centre de Bruxelles c’est qui est super.

Dommage que les vitres ne sont pas blindées, ouvert comme fermer on entend tout!

Les chambres ne contient pratiquement pas de prise, nous en avons trouver deux, celle de la lampe de nuit et de la télé. Soit tu charge ton téléphone soit tu allume ta lampe de nuit. Soit tu charge ton téléphone soit tu allume la télé.

Le carrelage dans la douche est dangereuse, très glissante, ce ne sont pas des carrelages destinés pour des douches
